Chapter 104: Chapter 95: Cultivation

After arranging for Yangg Yan and Feng Xiao to et his father, Nie Yun went to the City Lord’s Mansion.

True brotherhood often required no words—a single glance was enough.

Yangg Yan and Feng Xiao didn’t know what he was planning to do. They knew it was dangerous, yet they insisted on coming along. That was true brotherhood.

’A man doesn’t find many friends who are like brothers in his lifeti. I can’t let anything happen to them this ti!’

Nie Yun made a silent vow as he walked.

’In my previous life, both Feng Xiao and Yangg Yan died during the Demon Race invasion. This ti, I have to stop it. I have to make sure everyone I cherish survives!’

Lost in his thoughts, he soon arrived at the City Lord’s Mansion.

"Look, that’s Young Master Nie Yun!"

"I heard he reached the Peak of Gang Formation Realm before he’s even seventeen! His strength surpasses even so of the old-tirs!"

"I’m going to cultivate diligently, with Young Master Nie Yun as my role model!"

As he entered the gates of the City Lord’s Mansion, the eyes of the guards standing outside lit up with fervent admiration for Nie Yun. Their worship was plain to see.

In a world where Martial Arts reigned supre, everyone worshiped the strong. Nie Yun’s rise had been astonishing. With lightning-fast thods, he had consolidated the Four Great Families overnight. He had even gone on a rampage in the City Lord’s Mansion, slaying over a dozen Gang Formation Realm Elders. Throughout Luoshui City, he had already beco a legend—an idol to the younger generation.

"Heh."

Nie Yun chuckled softly, hearing the guards’ whispered conversation.

’In my past life, I was always used as a cautionary tale. To think that just a few days after my rebirth, I’ve beco a role model people talk about!’

"Look, Young Master Nie Yun smiled at ! He must agree with what I said. I’m going to work even harder from now on and beco soone great!"

"What are you talking about? He smiled at ! I’m definitely going to beco a powerful expert!"

Seeing the young man walk through the gate with a smile, the guards grew even more excited. ’Our idol smiled! That ans he sees potential in us. We have to work even harder from now on!’

"Let’s go."

Just as he entered the room, Luoo Zhanhao and Luo Qingcheng ca forward to greet him.

Luoo Zhanhao’s aura was focused and steady; he had completely stabilized his cultivation at the Qi Sect Realm.

"Qingcheng, put this Blood Dragon Armor on under your clothes. It will keep you safe."

Nie Yun nodded, handing her the Blood Dragon Armor he had taken from the Yangg Family.

"Thank you!" Luo Qingcheng blushed as she took the Battle Armor, then turned and went to her room to change.

"It looks good. A perfect fit."

A mont later, the girl erged. Although the Blood Dragon Armor was hidden beneath her clothes, a trace of its blood-red color at her collar gave her a heroic air, drawing a sigh of admiration from Nie Yun.

Treasures like the Blood Dragon Armor could shrink and expand. It was a perfect fit for the girl, but it wouldn’t have looked small even on a brawny man like Yangg Yan.

"Should we leave now, or what is the plan?" the City Lord asked.

"Let’s go to my family’s estate first. We can finalize our plans and head out together from there."

Nie Yun nodded and led the two of them away, flitting out of the City Lord’s Mansion.

They didn’t use the main gate, instead leaping over a wall to avoid prying eyes and wagging tongues that might spread the word of their departure.

However, unbeknownst to them, just as they left, the ground in a quiet corner of the City Lord’s Mansion began to shift. A mont later, a small figure, only about half a ter tall, erged from the grassy earth.

’They’re finally on their way. Heh heh... I must report this to Lord Yao Tong imdiately...’

With a malevolent grin, the small figure flickered once more and vanished back into the ground.

If Nie Yun had heard him, he would have been utterly astounded. The naming conventions of the Demon Race were incredibly complex. To have "Yao" as a surna ant one was, at the very least, a mber of the Royal Family!

The idea that a Royal Family-level Demon was lurking within the City Lord’s Mansion of a minor place like Luoshui City was simply unbelievable!

Although Nie Yun didn’t know the Demon Race had already planted a spy in the City Lord’s Mansion, he was certain this trip to the Luoo Qu Tomb would be anything but simple.

’The Demons never stop until they achieve their goals. They’ve been plotting and scheming over the Luoo Qu Tomb for years. Knowing them, it would be truly strange if they let us enter the tomb without a fight!’

The three of them soon arrived at the Nie Family estate. Yangg Yan and Feng Xiao were already there, chatting casually in a room with Nie Xiaotian.

"Let’s all rest and get ourselves prepared. We’ll leave after dark; it’ll be safer that way."

Nie Yun had decided it was best to travel under the cover of darkness.

"Alright!" everyone agreed. They each found a spot in the room to rest and center themselves.

As the others began to prepare, Nie Yun approached his father and asked quietly, "Father, how is your practice of the Ultimate Venerable Great Compassion Hand coming along?"

His father shook his head. "Even a simplified version of a Royal Family’s Top-Grade Martial Art isn’t easy to master."

Martial Arts were like the secret manuals of old masters; many techniques could not be perfected even in a lifeti of cultivation. To hope to master one in such a short period was a fool’s dream.

Nie Yun wasn’t surprised to hear that his father hadn’t mastered it; he knew he hadn’t given him enough ti.

’Honestly, a Royal Family’s Top-Grade Martial Art like the Ultimate Venerable Great Compassion Hand isn’t sothing one can master overnight. It would normally take eight or ten years of practice, but they simply didn’t have that kind of ti for dedicated study.’

An idea struck him, and Nie Yun spoke with a grave expression. "I have an idea. Father, don’t resist. I’m going to use my True Qi to guide your own, circulating it once through your body according to the thod for the Ultimate Venerable Great Compassion Hand. Feel the flow. It might help you master the technique."

’The most difficult part of cultivating any Martial Art is mastering the True Qi circulation. Once you grasp that, executing the move itself isn’t hard.’

’What Nie Yun planned to do was use his own True Qi to guide his father’s through the circulation pattern of the Ultimate Venerable Great Compassion Hand. If his father could just morize the way the True Qi Stream flowed, mastering the Martial Art would beco much less complex.’

"Alright!" Nie Xiaotian was no fool; he understood his son’s intention imdiately. Still, a question lingered in his mind. ’How does he know the Inner Breath circulation for a Royal Family’s Top-Grade Martial Art like the Ultimate Venerable Great Compassion Hand?’

’To say he just read the Secret Manual and morized it... Nie Xiaotian wouldn’t believe that in a million years.’

’No matter how well you morize a Secret Manual, it’s useless if you haven’t actually cultivated the technique yourself!’

’It’s like reading books about driving every day without ever getting behind the wheel. No matter how much theory you know, the mont you’re on the road, you’re still a novice, prone to all sorts of dangers.’

As these thoughts ran through his mind, his son’s True Qi surged into him through his palm. Nie Xiaotian imdiately felt his own True Qi being guided by this external force, flowing in a specific pattern until it had completed a full cycle.

RUMBLE!

As the circulation completed, he felt the True Qi inside him rumble like a chorus of frogs before it instantly surged forth!

BOOM!

The erupting True Qi ford a massive Palm Seal. It was dense and powerful, radiating an imnse pressure the mont it appeared.

"I did it!"

Nie Xiaotian leaped up from the ground in excitent, his face a mask of disbelief.
