Book 8: Chapter 7: Looking Back

“Back then, after you sent your wife to Fusang, the master began to teach to cultivate.”

Standing on the bow of the spacecraft, Lin Rui told Bai Qiuran:

“In the fiftieth year, this maid had successfully transford into human form. Since then, the master gave a na and asked to accompany her as a maid.”

“Oh.”

Bai Qiuran nodded, then pointed to the huge mysterious turtle undulating in front of the spacecraft, and asked:

“What about this one? I just heard Miss Kazama call your grandma, and then call his grandpa.”

“This is my husband.”

Lin Rui lowered her head and replied:

“He is a mber of the Black Turtle clan. He was given the Immortal Emperor’s teaching and beca a demon. His na was Jiaxuan. Immortal Emperor originally sent him to wander around Fusang to protect the safety of my master, the goddess Xihe and the three-legged crow goddess.”

“Then you got together.”

Bai Qiuran added a sentence in his heart.

“That’s it.”

Hearing that Lin Rui has married, Su Xiangxue took a deep breath, and her face beca calr.

Dowry-maids-as-concubines were still popular in the Nine Provinces and Ten Lands, let alone in ancient tis.

Lin Rui has been alive for a long ti. Although Su Xiangxue was calm, she still saw through her thoughts, so she smiled:

“When he and I asked the master, the relationship between the human race and the demon race was tense, and we were even ready to elope, thanks to and a tolerant master.”

“Understand.”

Su Xiangxue looked at Bai Qiuran, and then replied:

“I would agree if I was her too.”

Jiaxuan’s speed was very fast. While everyone was talking and laughing, he had already brought the spacecraft close to the position of Fusang Immortal Palace. The surrounding space began to fluctuate. Feeling the familiar changes, Li Jinyao was surprised:

“This is...?”

“Yes, it’s a change in space.”

Bai Qiuran nodded and said:

“The Fusang Immortal Palace was folded into another layer of space... Is this technique Lan’s or Li’s?”

Lin Rui replied:

“It’s Immortal Emperor Bai Li.”

“Not bad. The student has surpassed the teacher.”

Bai Qiuran quickly resolved this technique and rembered it, and then taught Tang Ruowei who was watching the sea of clouds next to him:

“Did you hear that? Learn more from your junior brother.”

“what?”

Tang Ruowei couldn’t figure it out.

“Who is that? When did I have an extra junior brother?”

“The aptitude is dull.”

Bai Qiuran shook his head and sighed.

“Your training of the Creator’s Body-Forging Technique stops at the 35th layer. Disciple, you must know that the last five layers are the last cliffs for you to change your fate.”

Tang Ruowei watched him in a huff and did not speak.

Although her talent was not bad, it was far worse than Bai Li, the first Spiritual Immortal Physique in history. Of course, Bai Qiuran has always maintained that aptitude cannot determine everything, but the key issue was that Bai Li’s ambition, perseverance, consciousness and other aspects have surpassed Tang Ruowei.

His goal was to lead the human race to rise, and Tang Ruowei’s goal was only to have a big rack. Perhaps the only place where the two could compete was the determination to chase the goal.

The clouds and mist ford a space tunnel. After the black mysterious turtle took the spacecraft through the layers of space, the clouds and mist dispersed, and everyone finally arrived at Fusang Immortal Palace.

What appeared in front of everyone was a huge branch that lay across the clouds. The branch was undulating in the clouds like a mountain in the clouds. The legendary Fusang Immortal Palace was built on this branch. .

“What kind of branch is that?”

Su Xiangxue looked at the branches which were as large as mountains and said in surprise.

“That is the branch of the Fusang sacred tree.”

Lin Ruijie said:

“When the emperor moved the Fusang sacred tree, the goddess Xihe and the three-legged crow goddess left a branch for the master, and she transford it into a palace. This is the origin of the Fusang Immortal Palace.”

The mysterious turtle pulled the spaceship to shore, and Lin Rui cast a spell to put down the steps. She led everyone along the stairs to the branch. The black mysterious turtle also jumped up from the clouds and turned into a man with an honest face, followed Lin Rui’s side.

There were many people coming and going to the palace, but all of them were won. Upon seeing this, Bai Qiuran said:

“There are so many won here.”

“Except for my husband, there is no other male in Fusang Immortal Palace.”

Lin Rui replied:

“And in order to avoid suspicion, the place where I live with my husband is also far away from the outskirts of the palace complex.”

“Why?”

“Because the master said that she is a married woman, it is not appropriate to get too close to other n.”

Lin Rui glanced at Bai Qiu and then replied:

“The won living here are mostly orphans who co to the mortal world to pick up when their masters are bored occasionally or are students who ca here to study. There have been male students before, but they were only regarded as registered disciples. Master taught them nothing less.”

“Then what if these won want to marry?”

Bai Qiuran looked at her and asked.

“Male students must leave after they have completed their studies, while won living here can leave with their husband after they go to the master to resign.”

Lin Rui replied:

“For them, Fusang Immortal Palace is like a natal place. Of course, n can’t settle here at will. My husband and I have made an exception to live here because we have the trust of the master and we have to serve the master.”

Lin Rui led everyone all the way to the center of the palace complex, where there was a large hall that looked exactly the sa as the palace where Jiang Lan lived when he was an official under Eastern Emperor Taiyi.

There were also several maids outside the hall. Bai Qiuran recognized them. It was just a few of the maids that Eastern Emperor Taiyi had given him back then, and these maids also recognized him, and they bowed in surprise:

“Master is back! hello Master.”

The identities of these maids in the fairy palace also seem to be very unusual, anyway, after seeing them kneeling to Bai Qiuran, Kazama’s face turned pale again.

“Kazama, you go back first.”

Lin Rui instructed Kazama, then she turned to face Bai Qiuran, bowed her head, and said:

“Master’s husband, please co in, the master is inside...she has been waiting for you for a long ti.”

“I know.”

Bai Qiuran looked at the palace in front of him and took a deep breath.

He stepped forward, and Su Xiangxue stretched out her hand to catch Li Jinyao and Tang Ruowei who wanted to follow.

“Now, let them stay alone for a while.”

The Sect Master of Kamasutra Sect shook her head.

Bai Qiuran stepped up the steps and pushed open the door of the palace. Inside the door was familiar furnishings, exactly the sa as the shrine he used to be on the eastern land.

And the petite and familiar back was sitting on the carpet in the center of the hall. She was dressed in a plain white dress, with long sleeves and skirts spread out on the ground, and her long black hair was pulled up in front of her, revealing the snow-white back of the neck.

Hearing the sound of pushing the door, she looked back and smiled at Bai Qiuran.
