Gu Xi, who had no idea that she had just beca a little wealthy, er, super wealthy, returned to her room happily with the card in hand.
After her excitent had subsided so, Gu Xi noticed that her phone had been sowhat quiet today. She picked up her phone and realized, to her surprise, that there had been no ssages in the [Battle at the Summit of Tianchuang] chat group.
After she had wondered about that, Gu Xi organized so of the thoughts that had occurred to her today, typed them up in a docunt, and posted it to their group.
[X]: I had so other ideas for features. Can you take a look and make sure they do not conflict with what we currently have?
It did not take long for the response to co.
This ti, however, it was [Lin] who replied first.
[Lin]: I just skimd over them real quick. Shouldnt be a problem.
[X]: Oh, good.
[X]: By the way, should we et up soti before the first round of reporting and go over so of the details and questions that we may receive?
Gu Xi added when she recalled Brother [3A]s previous suggestion.
Their first round of demonstration was coming up soon and it was vital that they et up once.
[Lin] replied quickly again: Sure.
[AAA]: No!
[X]: ? ? ?
[Lin]: ?
With Brother [3A]s abrupt No, not only Gu Xi, even [Lin], who rarely said anything, posted a question mark.
It had always been [AAA] who said he wanted to et.
[AAA]: That wont be necessary.
He recalled the ssage right after he had posted it.
[AAA] I an we will all be busy lately.
[Lin]: Not that busy.
Over on the other end, Sheng Xiuyans eyes turned into black lines (=.=) and he wanted to straight up called up [Lin] and tell him to shut up.
Gu Xi, too, replied with a: [Yeah, not too bad for either.]
Sheng Xiuyan, No, but bad for him.
[AAA]: I am busy lately.
[AAA]: We got ti. We can always et up later.
Having said that, [AAA] posted an emoji that could hurt ones eyes owing to his guilty conscience along with a colorful caption that said, Toast to our friendship.
[X]: Its fine. Focus on taking care of your matters first then.
Sheng Xiuyan let out a sigh of relief when he saw Gu Xis ssage.
Looking away from his phone, Sheng Xiuyan quietly looked over at his little uncle.
Perhaps he could have him go in his place? He had signed up using his little uncles information at the beginning anyway.
Sheng Xiuyan plotted in his mind.
Shen Ye, sitting across from Sheng Xiuyan, felt a chill down his spine.
Looking at his nephew who nodded and shook his head intermittently and went between frowning and looking troubled with his phone in hand, Shen Ye raised his brows.
It wasnt everyday when he saw so many different emotions on him. What is going on? Is he in a relationship?
Thought Shen Ye to himself.
He had been there once himself. Normally speaking, for a boy his age, he wouldnt have such change in emotions with the exception of being in a romantic relationship.
Shen Ye gave Sheng Xiuyan a aningful look while rubbing his chin.
Sheng Xiuyan, noticing that his little uncle was looking at him, was taken aback a little and asked, What is it? Why was he looking at like that?
Nothing. Why cant I look at you?
And, just like that, the two ended the conversation each having their own thoughts.
***
After returning to his room, a thought suddenly occurred to Sheng Xiuyan.
Judging from Gu Yanlins attitude in their group
Could it be possible that he didnt know that [X] was his precious little sister either?
After all, he picked up [X] in the forum of the competition before Gu Yanlin joined them.
And, judging from how Gu Yanlin had been posting at least one post about Gu Xi in his friend's circle every day, there was no way he could be so calm knowing that Gu Xi was in their penguin group.
Gu Yanlin used his secondary account to log into [Battle at the Summit of Tianchuang] and he wasnt online a lot. It was very likely that he never noticed Gu Xis status on her page.
Gu Xi, too, probably didnt realize who [Lin] was.
That possibility brought an evil look to Sheng Xiuyans eyes. This could get interesting.
