"Brother Lance, kill him!"

"Knock down Count of Moshi Territory, and we can all develop in the capital."

"Exactly! If Count of Moshi Territory dies, the capital will be under the control of Brother Lance. There's no need to worry about the Villain. We can confidently develop!"

"Haha, this is the aning of being a Villain. Count of Moshi Territory eliminated other major Villains and unwittingly paved the way for us!"

"I didn't expect Count of Moshi Territory to beco the Holy Son. Fortunately, we have Brother Lance. Otherwise, we wouldn't have anything to play with!"

At this mont, within the Protagonist group, after Lance posted a few sentences, it boiled with excitent. The Protagonists inside, knowing that Lance had encountered Su Mo, clamored for Lance to defeat Su Mo.

With the reVeration that Su Mo had beco the Holy Son of the Holy See, these Protagonists beca even more anxious. Now, with Lance stepping forward to deal with Su Mo, these Protagonists were filled with anticipation.

Lance was indeed extraordinary. During his training in the special space within the Holy See, his knowledge of the outside world was limited to what other Protagonists said. After he ca out, he quickly deduced, through the reactions of so personnel in the Holy See, that Su Mo was undoubtedly the Holy Son of the Crescent Moon Goddess! Nevertheless, even with this knowledge, Lance remained undaunted and confident in defeating Su Mo.

So what if he's the Holy Son! The greatest reliance of the Holy Son is the divine power from above. However, the Crescent Moon Goddess values his abilities as well. In the previous test, Lance alone raised the piety of all believers in a large diocese by one level!

This was equally significant for a God. The more devout the believers, the more faith a God could gather. Once he took the position of Cardinal, he could raise the piety of everyone in the entire Crescent Moon Kingdom by one level. By then, even the Crescent Moon Goddess would have to acknowledge him as the main contributor!

A re Holy Son was nothing in front of him.

On the opposite side, Su Mo had also spotted Lance. However, his gaze only swept over him once, as if he hadn't noticed him, then returned to Cardinal Ferren.

"Ah, pretending not to recognize ?" Lance's gaze was full of playfulness, but he didn't provoke Su Mo.

"Count, you're back. Co, let introduce you. This is the Lance I ntioned earlier, my successor," Cardinal Ferren said warmly after seeing Su Mo return.

After exchanging pleasantries, Cardinal Ferren eagerly introduced Lance. Su Mo's gaze finally settled on Lance.

Lance flashed a self-assured smile and extended his hand. "Count of Moshi Territory, I've heard so much about you."

Indeed, he had heard a lot about Count of Moshi Territory in the past few days, and the constant ntion of his na had beco sowhat overwhelming. Lance felt annoyed and had long wanted to erase this na from his sight, turning it into a dull gray, never to appear again.

It was quite rare to see a Protagonist initiating a handshake with a Villain. To Lance, this scene was a small "highlight" in his journey of growth. He envisioned writing an autobiography in the future, reconstructing this scene and letting people know how he eliminated Count of Moshi Territory, the troublemaker in the capital who nearly wiped out both Protagonists and Villains!

There was a sense of triumph in Lance's heart. However, he noticed that Su Mo did not extend his hand but was scrutinizing him instead.

Was a conflict about to erupt? Lance didn't feel embarrassed. He maintained a composed smile, calmly looking at Su Mo.

He wasn't afraid of Su Mo turning hostile. This was the core area of the Holy See. Cardinal Ferren was nearby, and there were plenty of bishops around. In the shadows, powerful protectors were present. Even if Su Mo made a scene, he wouldn't be able to do anything. It would only tarnish Su Mo's reputation, leaving a stain in the Holy See's records. A person with a stain would be unfit to be the Holy Son.

Therefore, Lance felt that he now held the initiative. If Su Mo extended his hand, it would make Lance appear more refined. If Su Mo didn't, even better. Either way, he considered himself the winner in this first encounter.

According to Lance's perspective, there would be many more encounters like this in the future. He would gradually suppress Su Mo, causing him to lose influence within the Holy See. Eventually, Su Mo would be powerless to resist, and Lance, as the Cardinal, could easily handle a fallen noble.

"Count of Moshi Territory, this is the Lance I ntioned earlier. Do you know him?" Cardinal Ferren quickly asked, seeing that Su Mo didn't extend his hand. He thought Su Mo might not have heard clearly before.

Su Mo's gaze lingered on Lance for a few seconds before slowly reaching out his right hand to shake Lance's hand. Cardinal Ferren found Su Mo's reaction sowhat strange but didn't dwell on it.

"Count, have you t before?" Lance, still wearing a playful smile, asked as they shook hands. At this mont, he felt a warm energy entering his body through his right hand.

"What are you doing?" Lance's expression changed as the energy spread rapidly within his body. Despite his formidable strength, this energy had no effect.

"What's happening?" Cardinal Ferren's face turned pale. A powerful sanctum appeared in a flash, holding Lance's hand and examining him.

"Don't worry, this is the divine power bestowed by the Goddess in the previous encounter. It won't harm you. You resemble soone I've t before, so I need to check you." Su Mo spoke calmly.

"Indeed, it is the sacred energy of the Goddess, very gentle and won't cause any harm to him." Cardinal Ferren breathed a sigh of relief. Lance, too, secretly relaxed, realizing it was a false alarm. At the sa ti, he decided not to get too close to Su Mo in the future. To prevent Su Mo from taking desperate asures, he planned to maintain a safe distance.

"This guy just wanted to scare , didn't he?" Lance thought. He regretted his reaction, as he had initially held the upper hand. However, Su Mo's unexpected move had shaken his composure.

"Count, rest assured, we have checked him thoroughly many tis; there should be no issues," Cardinal Ferren reassured.

Su Mo looked at Lance and said in a calm tone, "Double-checking won't hurt. If the Goddess's energy shows no reaction, it can confirm his safety."

After saying that, Su Mo waved his hand, summoning a group of high-level divine magicians.

"You, create a divine spell barrier around him to ensure there are no mistakes."

"Yes." The team of high-level divine magicians took action one after another.

Lance wasn't pleased. "If everything is fine, are you going to apologize to ?"

As he finished speaking, a large amount of sacred energy entered his heart. As this energy entered his heart, an enormous amount of demonic energy erupted. Lance was instantly enveloped in dark energy.
