A sudden rush of a phone ringtone interrupted the middle-aged man’s words, and he quickly picked it up.

"You said a buyer from Lawson Group will have dinner with us tomorrow? Really?"

"Alright, alright, I will definitely make a good impression tomorrow." The middle-aged man hung up the phone, his face beaming with delight.

He cast a contemptuous glance at Landon Lawson: "Young people like you just love to show off in front of successful people like us, putting on a façade, but you really should weigh your own capabilities. Look at , I can now collaborate with established groups like Lawson Group. You have a long way to go." The man walked over and sighed at Landon Lawson, and as he left, he didn’t forget to whistle at Sienna Quinn.

Sienna’s expression was sowhat peculiar; if he wanted to cooperate with Lawson Group, didn’t he realize the person he called a façade is actually the head of the Lawson Group?

Sienna was curious now, wondering what expression this man would have when he discovered Landon’s true identity.

Landon stood in place, his eyes gradually narrowing, becoming deep and inscrutable.

Nate’s mother pulled Nate along, and as they passed Sienna, she spat fiercely.

"Little witch!"

"Hey, how can you talk like that?" Sienna watched the woman leave after speaking, truly feeling sorry for Nate. His mother and father had no manners in front of so many people — no wonder they raised a son who bullies the weak and fears the strong.

Sienna lowered her head, looking at Evan Quinn’s eyes that were almost about to drip water, she found that his gaze carried layers of aning as he looked at her.

For a mont she was confused, what was Evan looking at?

Following his gaze, she saw Landon’s arm resting on her shoulder.

"President Lawson, do you really like holding other people’s wives like this?"

Sienna’s face turned a bit dark. Although her heart was racing, she covered it well.

Suddenly missing the soft skin, Landon was sowhat disappointed, glancing darkly at his empty arm, yet his voice was full of sarcasm.

"Just now, I saved you!"

"I didn’t ask for it!" Sienna replied rudely, looking up and glaring at Landon. Watching him grit his teeth made her rejoice, and she grabbed Evan’s chubby little hand and walked out.

Turning her back to Landon, Sienna’s expression subsided.

A feeling of oppression thronged her heart.

Landon had already started to suspect that Evan was his son. He would absolutely not let it go, even if he didn’t love her. But since the child carries a Lawson Family bloodline, he would definitely not let him be exposed outside.

She now needs to be ready, cautious that Landon might fight her for Evan at any mont.

"Mommy, what are you thinking about? Why does your expression look so serious?" Evan asked with so confusion. Sienna’s facial expressions changed unpredictably, anyone could see she was not in a very good state now.

Sienna took Evan into the car and suddenly turned around, her gaze locking onto the baby’s eyes: "What I’m about to tell you, you must keep in your heart."

Evan nodded, puzzled.

Sienna took a deep breath and spoke slowly: "Stay far away from that man we just t."

"Why?"

Evan lowered his head, preventing Sienna from seeing his complex expression.

Sienna turned her head back, not noticing Evan’s peculiar look, continuing to mumble to herself: "He’s a very dangerous person, getting close to him will make you very dangerous."

Being heartbroken is minor, but losing life is major.

In Landon’s mind, hasn’t he always trusted Vera? If by any chance Evan was taken back by Landon, Evan would definitely not have a good life.

How could that sinister woman not make a move against him?

If Vera found out about this, she would certainly not allow Evan’s existence.

Watching Evan not speak for a long ti, Sienna’s face turned unpleasant. She suddenly lifted Evan’s small face, his originally gleaming eyes now layered with a veil of sadness.

"Mommy, today I am very happy." Evan suddenly answered contrary to her question, causing Sienna’s pupils to shrink montarily. Did he know?

No, if Evan knew, how could he be so calm?

"You...what do you know?" Sienna’s body trembled continuously. Had Landon told Evan about the paternity test results?

He had wanted to know who his father was from an early age. Though later he mysteriously stopped asking, Sienna knew; Evan always had this matter he couldn’t let go of.

It’s always been a hurdle for this not-so-old child.

Evan suddenly smiled playfully and sowhat bewildered.

"Of course, it’s true. Today was your first ti attending my parent-teacher eting, how could I not be happy?"

Evan’s chubby little face looked extrely cute, but in Sienna’s heart, a doubt remained. Why had Landon been appearing frequently at this kindergarten lately? Danielle’s accident was one case, you could say Landon was just in the vicinity, but this ti too, it’s a coincidence? Could it be another chance occurrence?

Did he purposely co over for the parent-teacher eting when he knew about it?

Pressing on the accelerator, she looked at the icy, indifferent little face beside her and sank into contemplation.

Could it be she’s overthinking this?

How could Evan proactively contact Landon?

Plop!

The coffee cup in the woman’s hand suddenly fell to the ground, with dark brown liquid spreading across the floor. The scalding coffee splashed onto Vera Yates’ instep, but at that mont she was like a puppet with a soul sucked out, bereft of thought.

"Hello? Miss Vance? Miss Vance?" Hearing the voice on the phone, Vera gradually reacted.

"Did you say Stephen has been going to the kindergarten lately?" Vera found it hard to believe, in these days when Landon seed to have disappeared, he actually went to the child’s kindergarten every day, even sending people who captured the site of Landon eting the child.

Although he was rely arguing with the middle-aged man, there were naturally Vera’s people among the many standing around.

Landon personally claid he was the child’s father.

Child? Father?

These words exploded completely in Vera’s ears, and she did not even realize the coffee cup slipped to the ground.
