Tom Quinn slowly spoke, sitting tiredly on the sofa.

"Isn’t my mother with you?"

Clara Quinn asked with so curiosity.

Tom gently shook his head, wondering where that woman had run off to again. Suddenly, his eyes widened, and he said to the servant beside him, "When did Amanda Warren leave?"

"She left early in the morning and hasn’t returned yet." The servant quickly responded, noticing Tom’s complexion slightly change, his pupils looking sowhat troubled.

"This isn’t good!"

"What’s wrong, Dad?"

Clara looked at Tom with so confusion. His behavior was really unusual.

The latter lightly pressed his lips, "Your mother has already gone to trouble Sienna Quinn."

"How could it be at this point, how could she still go and trouble Sienna?"

Clara just couldn’t imagine this situation, it was simply too terrifying. Now that Amanda Warren had gone to find Sienna, it was definitely because of that incident five years ago. Would she really do sothing impulsive?

"We need to hurry and find your mother now."

Tom said, urgently heading outside.

Suddenly, a rapid ringing of a phone interrupted the conversation among a few people.

Tom looked at the unfamiliar caller display, his brows furrowing slightly.

In full view of everyone, he answered the call.

This call left Tom expressionless, but after hanging up, his face was terribly grim.

Clara asked anxiously, "Who was it?"

"The police station."

The man’s cold voice slowly echoed.

Clara’s body shivered violently, staring at Tom in disbelief, "Why is my mother at the police station now? Even if Sienna went to the police station, it would take so ti."

Besides, up until now, Tom hadn’t faced any issues. How could Amanda Warren be the only one reported?

This was simply an alarming matter.

"They just said your mother attempted murder."

"Attempted murder? Impossible!" Clara couldn’t believe it, thinking this was sothing her mother was capable of doing.

Although Amanda Warren could be sharp-tongued at tis, she didn’t have the guts to attempt murder.

Moreover, there wasn’t a foe for her to retaliate against right now.

Could it be...

Clara’s pupils widened with a jolt, fearing it might be just as she imagined.

"It’s Sienna!"

Tom uttered the na with so resignation, and Clara’s body slightly trembled, realizing her worst fear had finally happened.

Why was her mother so stubborn? They had already hurt Sienna so much, did they want this to continue even further? Did they really need to hit a wall before stopping?

Clara’s lips curved into a bitter smile, her pretty face filled with deep sorrow.

But now Amanda was already at the police station, and they could only hurry over there.

When Clara and the others arrived at the police station, they found the latter had been detained in defeat.

Clara walked up to the woman... tearfully looking at her, she said, "Why did you have to take things this far?"

"I’m absolutely not going to spend the rest of my life in prison. This is all Sienna’s fault. If it weren’t for him, I wouldn’t even be here."

"Why are you still blaming Sienna? Can’t you face your own mistakes by now?"

There was a hint of disappointnt in Clara’s reddened eyes. She had originally thought her mother was her role model.

When you make a mistake, shouldn’t you be taking responsibility? What good can insisting bring?

In the end, only harsher punishnt awaits.

"All of this is because your father lacks responsibility. If he’d been a little more assertive, how could Sienna have forced us to this point?"

"I think you’ve really gone crazy."

Clara looked at her mother with so sympathy, seeing now that this woman had gone utterly mad and rationality was long gone.

"How can you say this about ? I’m your mother."

The woman’s body trembled incessantly, her pupils filled with dense shadow... That once charming face now covered with a fierce grimace.

Tom stood not far away, hearing the conversation between the two clearly, and he shook his head with so helplessness.

"Mistakes have consequences, no matter how much you struggle, it only gets worse."

"Isn’t it all because you’re useless; otherwise, why would I have to strategize for you?"

Amanda’s pupils were filled with intense resentnt. If it weren’t for Tom back then, would she have taken that step? Yet now this man was shifting all the bla onto her.

Every ti she thought of this, she felt her years of emotions had been wasted.

Looking at the woman who had completely succumbed to madness, the man shook his head helplessly.

"You’re now charged with attempted murder... Even if Sienna doesn’t report you, it’ll be hard for you to get out in the latter half of your life." The man lightly shook his head and turned to leave, the many years of feelings between them vanishing at that mont.

As the man walked away with a cold back, Amanda clung to the wall, continually shouting, "Tom Quinn, co back to , you can’t treat like this, I’ve given my life for you..."

The woman ended up covering her face and crying.

Clara sat squatting to the side, looking at her mother’s tearful face, her heart filled with a deep ache.

"Mom... please stop struggling in vain. Continuing like this isn’t good for any of us."

"Can you really bear to see spending the rest of my life in prison?"

Amanda’s voice was sowhat desolate, her face filled with disappointnt. One is her husband, the other her daughter, yet they both wanted her to admit her guilt.

It seed she had really lived a failed life, living her entire life for her daughter and husband, yet they returned her efforts with nothing but cold indifference...

Was this their response to her?

Looking at this woman, bereft of hope, Clara shook her head helplessly. Her family had completely fallen apart from this mont.

Clara didn’t know how she got back ho. When she arrived ho, only Old Mrs. Quinn was there.

Old Mrs. Quinn, feeling quite sorry, hugged her and said softly, "In the future, Grandma will be here with you in this ho. I’ll never abandon you no matter when."

"Grandma..."

Clara choked on her words, that pretty face showing a hint of helpless smile, but tears were streaming down her face.
