Sean Carter sat naturally on the sofa and said to the girl beside him, "I won’t waste too many words now. Felix Orwell has already inford that this company will no longer continue. We need to fully disclose the company now."
"What did you say?"
Chiara Thorne rubbed her ear vigorously, at this mont she couldn’t care less about being shy. She thought the news was shocking. After all, they had put in so much effort for this company, and now they were just giving up without any reason. This was sothing Chiara couldn’t comprehend. Her heart ached slightly every ti she thought about it. Their goals had not been achieved, so why give up?
Or had Sienna Quinn already abandoned her plan of revenge?
Seeing the puzzled look on Chiara Thorne’s face, Sean Carter shook his head sowhat helplessly. In fact, he didn’t quite understand the situation either, but so what? They were all employees...
Chiara Thorne bit her lip tightly, with a hint of doubt in her eyes, and finally shook her head powerlessly: "I think I should go ask Sienna. After all, this is no longer just her concern. We ca here from France for her, and now she says we’re leaving and doing nothing more. This is sothing I cannot accept no matter what."
Sean Carter was about to stop Chiara Thorne, but he noticed that her steps were very determined and swift, leaving him with no choice.
Chiara Thorne’s character had always been like this. She was not soone who could be easily stopped...
This feeling of helplessness made Sean Carter shake his head with a faint smile in his eyes: "I really don’t know who’s the boss and who’s the subordinate. Perhaps the world is really about to change..."
Sean Carter actually had a bit of doubt too, but he ultimately didn’t ask, as they had already made their choice. He just needed to endure silently...
...
Chiara Thorne stord into the villa, pushed open the door, and went straight to Sienna Quinn’s door...with a trace of a helpless smile at ho, she gently knocked on Sienna’s door. After a while, Sienna slowly opened the door and looked at Chiara Thorne standing outside, with a sowhat puzzled expression, said, "Shouldn’t you be at the company now? Why have you co ho?"
"Since you have already made that decision, what difference does it make if I’m at the company?" Chiara Thorne’s tone carried a hint of anger. After all, it was they who had built this company from scratch, and now to give up just like that made all her efforts seem wasted.
Sienna Quinn frowned slightly, clearly not understanding Chiara Thorne’s words: "What do you an by that? I don’t quite understand."
"Why don’t you understand? Aren’t these the choices you made? You told Sean Carter that the company no longer needs to exist and to fully disclose it. That after we go back to France, we won’t return. Isn’t this true?"
Sienna was slightly taken aback, clearly not expecting soone to tell Sean Carter to fully disclose the company. But she had intended to go back to France and never return, that much was true. Given Landon Lawson’s current attitude towards her, she felt there was no longer a need to stay here...
With a faint bitter smile at the corners of her lips, it seed Felix Orwell had already made the choice for her. Perhaps selling the company and returning to France for good was the right choice, considering she and Landon Lawson could never be together. This place was nothing but a place of heartbreak. There was no need to co back.
Looking at Sienna’s silent deanor, Chiara Thorne beca even more annoyed, suddenly reaching out her hands, gripping Sienna’s shoulders, and righteously said, "Are you really sure about giving up your business here, and your bed too? You still haven’t made the Quinn Family pay the price..."
ntioning the Quinn Family, Sienna was montarily stunned, clearly having put this matter to the back of her mind...Her brows furrowed tightly. At this mont, she suddenly realized what her true purpose of coming back to the country was.
Originally in a state of despair, she reignited with hope driven by a fighting spirit.
With eyes full of determination, Sienna looked at Chiara Thorne, flas burning brightly in her gaze...
"I have sothing to do now, I’ll talk to you when I get back."
The heroine suddenly left Chiara Thorne’s side, and Chiara was slightly taken aback watching the heroine’s departing figure. She wondered if what she said earlier was too harsh?
Feeling a trace of guilt in her eyes, the heroine truly understood the sense of revenge, for it involved her parents...All these years, the heroine had not forgotten this hatred, obviously holding it in her heart. Yet, Chiara just blurted out those painful words...As a friend, she felt she was not being competent.
Chiara Thorne sowhat helplessly picked up the phone and dialed Felix Orwell’s number. After a while, he answered.
"Young President Orwell, where are you now? I have sothing to discuss with you."
"I’m outside now. Can’t it wait until I get back?" Felix Orwell frowned slightly, clearly not expecting Chiara Thorne to call him at this ti.
Chiara Thorne hesitated for a mont before nodding: "I know what to do now. In that case, I’ll wait for you to co back."
Felix Orwell silently hung up Chiara Thorne’s call, with a faint trace of doubt lingering. Although he wanted to rush back, the situation here was difficult to delay. Just thinking about it made Felix Orwell’s brows furrow slightly.
Felix Orwell looked at the man sitting in front of him and coldly said, "I’ve made it very clear. Do not entangle with the heroine anymore. If you take action against her again, I won’t mind becoming your enemy."
Faced with Felix Orwell’s threat, Axel Yates just faintly curled the corner of his lips, clearly not taking his words to heart.
Axel Yates was already at the end of his rope and had nothing left to lose. Now he was all alone and could bear to risk it all...
