"I ca to tell you the truth, let’s go out and talk."

Axel Yates was silent. "Then at two in the afternoon, see you at the cafe downstairs."

"Okay, it’s settled then," Landon Lawson said.

Landon Lawson left Axel Yates’ company and suddenly didn’t know where to go. He called Nolan Shaw to ask for Sienna Quinn’s whereabouts, and then drove to the racetrack. It turned out Sienna was eting a client there for business.

Landon got out of his car and went inside, spotting Sienna imdiately.

Sienna was discussing with a client, looking very happy talking to a man, but Landon felt uncomfortable inside. Just when the man’s hand was about to touch Sienna’s hand, Landon appeared at the right mont and stopped the restless hand.

It turns out there were so differences in their discussion, and the man wanted to ride a horse with Sienna, which she was unhappy about. That’s why the earlier scene occurred.

After Landon appeared, he pulled Sienna aside and asked what happened. Naturally, Sienna didn’t show him a good face. She asked:

"What are you doing here?"

"I was just passing by."

"Oh, our big CEO is so busy, yet has this kind of U.S.A ti?"

This comnt left Landon speechless, not knowing what to say. They could only look at each other for a long ti without speaking. anwhile, the client was so angry, cursing with an authentic Japanese accent.

"Sienna, don’t think you’ll get any projects from ."

As the man spoke, Landon’s icy gaze shot over, as if it would freeze him to death, terrifying indeed.

Landon took Sienna’s hand and walked into the racetrack.

He naturally brought out a beautiful horse. It turned out that Landon owned shares in this racetrack as a major shareholder, so certainly, he had horses here. Landon asked if Sienna knew how to ride, and she looked embarrassed, clearly not knowing.

Landon swiftly gave her a princess carry and placed Sienna on the horse’s back, then sat behind her himself, riding slowly. It was like they were on a date, sothing neither had experienced before, making the horse ride unusually quiet.

After about fifteen minutes, Landon quickened the horse’s pace, and it began to gallop. For Sienna, it was a novel experience, an exhilarating thrill that dispelled any gloom she had been feeling, bringing about a broad smile. After a while, Landon brought the horse to a stop.

He helped Sienna off the horse, and of course, there was the soreness from sitting too long that was indescribable in words. Sienna’s walk beca awkward, and at that mont, Landon gave her another princess carry, placing her directly in the car. As he set her down, he thought about how light she was and decided she needed to gain weight.

After having lunch together, it was almost ti for his appointnt. Landon drove Sienna ho and then went to the cafe, ordering a cappuccino and starting to wait.

At exactly two o’clock, Axel Yates opened the door to the cafe on ti, arriving at where Landon Lawson was, both with stern faces. After a period of awkward silence, Axel finally spoke first, saying:

"What exactly do you want to talk to about? Is there anything left for us to discuss?"

"Miles Grant told before he died why you went against ."

"Do you have anything to say about that?"

"I researched the information from that ti and found that your parents’ death was unrelated to my family."

Axel suddenly stood up, saying, "I hope you’re not shirking responsibility. I’m telling you, I won’t believe you." With that, Axel slamd the door and left, leaving Landon alone to ponder.

Axel ran out, absolutely refusing to believe this fact. After returning ho and thinking carefully for a while, he decided he still had to go against the Lawson Family. Later, through various inquiries, he learned that the White Family was the Lawson Family’s greatest rival. Both the Lawson and White Families were two major powers in this city, competing in various industries. So, Axel decided to seek out the White Family. He believed the White Family would surely have the resolve to fight against the Lawson Family.

The next day, they arranged to et on a boat, secretly spending an entire afternoon together.

That afternoon, the two of them planned to take on the Lawson Family’s company together, deciding to launch a price war, selling their products at low prices.

Then they would use so extre asures to deal with Landon Lawson, considering that in this era, there isn’t a powerful corporation that doesn’t have a strong dark force backing it.

They had just set up their plan when they faced three assassination attempts, showcasing their efficiency. Naturally, our CEO Landon Lawson had counterasures. He was a skilled practitioner from a young age.

Starting martial arts training at the age of five, dealing with small-scale assassination attempts was child’s play to him. Yet, as the level of challenges increased, handling them also beca more strenuous. But how could soone like him not have a secret weapon team?

"Nolan Shaw, divide our forces into three parts; one team to protect Sienna, one team to stay at the old house, and the last team to follow ."

"Yes, CEO."

"Go find out who exactly is targeting us."

"Yes, CEO. Anything else, CEO?"

"You can go now."

"Yes."

After a night passed, the truth finally surfaced. It turned out to be the White Family’s doing, with Axel Yates involved. Landon now realized that Axel wasn’t going to believe him.

What should be done?

Axel knew all his weaknesses. Of course, his biggest weaknesses were his son and this woman.

Thinking about this, Landon imdiately rushed to Sienna’s house, only to find soone blocking the entrance.

The situation was clear at a glance. Landon called for backup and charged in first to protect Sienna. At that mont, Sienna looked terrified, with no idea what was going through her mind, just staring blankly at her.

With a look of fear, Landon found it very pitiful, heart-wrenching, and he internally vowed never to allow such a situation to occur again.

Afterwards, he swiftly took out the bad guys with a few punches and kicks, sending them running.

Landon held Sienna tightly in his arms, silently comforting her, providing her with strength and a warm embrace. Finally, Sienna burst into tears.
