Seeing his father quietly reflecting on the issue, Miles knew that he had temporarily cald his father’s nerves, allowing him to feel less anxious. If both of them could have a healthy and peaceful night’s sleep, then these problems wouldn’t seem too imnse.
Miles was well aware that this situation wasn’t as simple as it appeared. How coincidentally could a company erge suddenly to oppose his father’s company? Soone must have intervened, and given such low buyback prices, even as a promotion, it couldn’t be like this at the start.
