Landon Lawson squinted his eyes and surveyed the surroundings. The cold aura made everyone present afraid to even breathe. Clearly just one person, yet his powerful presence subdued them all.
"Is this how you treat artists? By selling their body and looks?" Chase Orwell sneered coldly, the smile at the corner of his mouth appeared unnaturally frozen.
The manager’s body trembled uncontrollably, legs shaking constantly. If not for sitting down, they would have stumbled to the ground.
"President Orwell... this... I never made Vera sell her body and looks."
Seeing the manager’s nervous deanor, Landon Lawson smiled faintly, but the cold smile felt even more indifferent and rciless.
"Stephen, I’m feeling a bit dizzy."
Vera Yates leaned all her weight on Chase Orwell, her pretty little face flushed with a hint of red, looking pitifully drunk.

"You..." The man pointed at Landon, speechless for a mont. Having secretly gone out to dinner with a popular actress behind his wife’s back, if she found out, his good days would be over.
"Landon Lawson, you’re going too far!" The man shouted, masking his true fear.
"With your own unresolved scandals, how do you have the mind to ddle in my affairs?"
Vera gently tugged Landon’s sleeve, her charming eyes filled with worry, her rosy lips moving, "Stephen, you haven’t resolved matters with Sienna yet. If this gets out, it won’t be good for you either. I’d rather not trouble you."
Vera’s pitiful deanor was well-perford; she purposely wanted Landon to appear here today. Only in this way could she bind them together again and dispel public rumors.

"Landon, did you hear? Clean up your own ssy affairs before involving yourself in others," the man overheard Vera’s words clearly, smiling coldly, seizing the notion that Landon wouldn’t publicly share the matter.
"Trouble? I’ve never considered your matters as trouble." Landon wasn’t buying it, his gentle eyes fixed on Vera.
Vera pressed her lips, gently resting her face on his shoulder, eyes welled with tears.
