Sienna Quinn finished speaking and made a gesture as if to grab Evan Quinn, but was blocked by the man in front of her.
"What are you doing? Are you two planning to gang up on ?" Sienna squinted her eyes. How long have these two known each other? They aligned so quickly—are they always going to be against her?
Seeing Sienna’s darkened little face, Landon Lawson grabbed Evan by the collar and pulled him out from behind him. He looked righteously at the little kid kicking aimlessly.
"How can you upset your mommy?" He said, shaking his head helplessly, full of disappointnt.
Evan kicked his little legs wildly, glaring fiercely at Landon, expressing his dissatisfaction as much as he could.
Landon chose to completely ignore it, handing Evan over to Sienna, grinning widely. This was the first ti Sienna had seen Landon like this; could he smile? Could his expressions be this rich? Sienna took Evan.
Hearing the occasional yelps, Landon shrank his neck. People say you can’t provoke a woman when she’s angry, and it seems to be true. Even if he and Evan were on the sa team, it’s useless; at critical monts, teammates need to be betrayed.
If Evan knew Landon betrayed him to save himself, he would definitely regret helping such a person.
Because of Evan’s insistence earlier, Sienna let Landon sleep with him that night while she returned to her room.
The two, one big and one small, faced each other, neither willing to go to sleep early. Evan was still sulking, his hands on his hips, angrily saying to Landon, "Traitor!"
"Traitor? Didn’t you bring this trouble on yourself?"
Landon turned his head away, his expression a bit unable to hold.
"Burning bridges! You’re not qualified with !" Evan suddenly crossed his arms, turned away in a huff, clearly angry at Landon.
Upon hearing Evan say he’s not qualified, Landon leaned over, whispering in his ear with a gleam of wisdom in his eyes.
"Are you serious?"
"Of course, what I say is never false." Landon smiled wickedly. After learning that Evan was his son, he had Nolan Shaw investigate the details of Sienna’s and Evan’s lives over the years. Including Evan’s interests, all clear as day. Dealing with a kid isn’t that hard.
"Alright, deal!"
The big and small hands clasped together, Evan bead with joy.
Sienna didn’t know about the collaboration happening here. The little guy who had always been by her side had unexpectedly beco soone else’s right-hand man. This was sothing Sienna never imagined.
At three in the morning, feeling a bit thirsty, Sienna sleepily walked out of her room, got a glass of water, and walked to the sofa in the dark, sitting down tiredly.
Suddenly it felt soft, jolting her. This wasn’t her sofa!
"Ah!" Sienna shrieked, jumping up in fright, spilling the water onto the sofa, her trembling body magnified infinitely in the darkness, slowly leaning back.
Did a thief get in? Or a corporate spy? In an instant, all possibilities flashed through her mind.
"What are you doing!"
A cold voice broke the stalemate; the familiar voice stunned Sienna, and her face darkened increasingly.
"What are you doing? Frightening people at my house this late?" Sienna’s voice was full of anger. Wasn’t Landon supposed to be sleeping in Evan’s room? How did he inexplicably end up here?

The living room lights were turned on by Sienna, and there was Landon sitting on the sofa, drenched, water dripping from his hair.
Sienna shrank her shoulders. This was a result of her doing.
Landon’s face darkened; if it wasn’t for Evan saying he wasn’t used to sleeping with him, how could the proud president of the Lawson Group end up sleeping on the sofa?
Sienna saw Landon’s narrowed eyes and guessed mostly.
"I was too excited just now." Sienna cald down, once again regaining the calm deanor of President Quinn.
Landon grabbed his coat beside him and left without turning back. Watching his retreating figure, Sienna finally breathed a sigh of relief, sneaking a little tongue-out gesture.
If Landon really stayed here all the ti, she honestly wouldn’t know what to do.
Even after five years of not facing this man, Sienna found she still could not harden her heart, especially now with Evan connected between them.
Only today did she find out that the marriage between Landon and her had never ended, so even if he and Vera Yates truly wanted to marry, they’d have to divorce first.
The corners of the woman’s mouth slowly lifted, surprised that even Landon was unknowingly aiding her this ti.
"Vera Yates, haven’t you always wanted to be his wife? Then let’s wait and see."
The next morning, when Evan woke up, he searched the apartnt but couldn’t find Landon. Pouting his little lips unhappily, he took out a small phone: "Where did he go? Does he still want to win mommy back with such low emotional intelligence?"
Muttering as he texted.
Suddenly, a big hand appeared in front of him, snatching the phone away.
Evan looked up sharply at Sienna, who was twirling the small phone he used to talk with Landon, his cute little face now full of tension, his petite body trembling, looking at her pale and shaky.
Sienna weighed the phone in her hand, a aningful smile playing on her lips.
"You even have Landon’s phone number? I don’t even have that."
"Mommy, if you want it, I can give it to you!" Evan said softly, with an innocent look, blinking big eyes. If Sienna didn’t know better about this kid’s cunning ways, she might have been deceived by him.
Sienna suddenly squatted down, pinching Evan’s little ear, staring deeply at him: "Do you have anything to confess?"
"Mommy, it hurts! Be gentle, it’s going to be torn off." His childish voice made Sienna squint her eyes, and Evan looked at him pitifully.
Evan pointed seriously at Sienna’s phone and said, "Daddy put it in my phone yesterday. If you don’t believe , check it out. There’s nothing there."
Sienna squinted at the harmless-looking little face. Knowing his tricks, how could she not be aware? This little guy is ticulous in what he does, even adults had to admit defeat.
After checking the phone, there really was nothing there.
Looking at him skeptically, "Really nothing?"
"Really nothing," Evan nodded seriously.
Sienna, though still doubtful, let Evan go.
"You better not lie to . If I find out, hmph hmph!"
