Qing Army Camp

Prince Yu "Dodo" suddenly left as if there was an urgent matter.

The elite of the Bordered White Banner imdiately surrounded and trapped the group attempting to raid the camp, leaving no possibility for escape.

Fortunately, since Dodo had stated he wanted to "personally take action," the Qing soldiers only besieged without killing, waiting for their master to return for disposition.

At the mont, those who ca to raid the camp ford a circle back to back, facing off against the massive army.

Knowing there was no chance of survival, their faces showed resolution, ready to fight to the death.

Shi Dewei even said, "Today, I have the good fortune to go to the Yellow Springs with all of you; it is indeed a good thing!"

But at that mont, Shi Kefa sighed and said, "At this point, it's impossible to turn the tide. Shortly, I will appeal to Dodo for rcy, to let you all go. Preserve your useful selves..."

Before he could finish his sentence, his adopted son interrupted, "Father, the very aim of this king is to show the world your submission, you must not do this for our sake!"

A few knights nearby also said, "Governor Shi, since we dared to co, we have prepared ourselves, simply to take a few Jian Yi with us in death!"

Especially in tis of dynastic upheaval and foreign rule, "the stubborn resistance of old loyalists caving in" serves as excellent propaganda to crush the will of the remaining resisters.

Shi Kefa was, of course, aware of this, but he already felt a despair greater than any sadness.

The Southern Ming, also known as the Hongguang Era, not only did not seek to revive its fortunes, but was also busy fighting for power and influence in the face of the enemy, perfectly embodying the term "sitting ducks."

Add to that the fact that the people had lost heart; in fact, Shi Kefa was already "dully resigned" before the Qing Army attacked, and Yangzhou fell in less than a day as expected.

At this mont, this man who was in his forties but looked like he was seventy, suddenly said to a Qing military officer dressed as a Son of the Han:

"You are a Son of the Han, why do you aid tyranny?"

The man spat out and said, "Who are you calling a Han dog! Grandpa has raised the flag long ago!"

Shi Kefa smiled miserably and then took a deep breath, said to his adopted son and the knights:

"You all have great skills and youth on your side, do not accompany an old man like in death. I suppose I still have so thin face left; I should be able to convince Dodo to spare you, and the entire city of Yangzhou..."

As soon as these words were uttered, except for Shi Jingyan, who was holding his dead wife's sister and was beside himself with grief, the others looked at each other in dismay.

Shi Kefa noticed sothing was off, grabbed his adopted son's hand, and asked, "What happened?"

Shi Dewei replied, "Father, while you were imprisoned these past few days, Dodo ordered a massacre in the city. The million people of Yangzhou... have all perished."

Upon learning this, Shi Kefa let go of the hand, visibly turning pale in defeat.

He opened his mouth to say sothing but, overwheld with self-reproach and heartbreak, he spat out a mouthful of blood from his heart.

Everyone fell into silent speechlessness, only the severely wounded woman "A Jing" kept reminding Shi Jingyan, "Yan-ge, escape quickly..."

She was delirious from blood loss, clearly on the verge of death.

By this ti, the entire Qing Army camp had mobilized completely, with a hundred thousand troops moving out to fully encircle the prison gate.

Flags fluttered like forests and spears fell like rain, with the chilling aura of battle formations coming head-on.

Recently surrendered Han soldiers wheeled in the Red-Cloaked Cannons to aid in the formation, the terrifying cannon muzzles pointed right at the crowd.

Witnessing such military might, everyone felt a profound sense of powerlessness from deep within. Thinking of Dodo's prowess made them despair even more about the state of the world.

Shi Dewei didn't want to wait for Dodo to return and suffer humiliation, so he roared, "In such a world, life is aningless, let's fight it out with these barbarian invaders!"

Soon, soone responded, "Fight! My whole family is trapped in Yangzhou anyway, I never intended to leave alive!"

Sensing the determined resolve in everyone to die, Shi Kefa sighed deeply without further attempts to persuade them and likewise resigned himself to death.

At this mont, filled with endless bleakness and heroism, they were about to launch a desperate charge at the Qing Army!

But just then, a thunderous boom resounded from the horizon, so terrifying in its might that they could feel it from afar!

The next second, a figure ca whizzing back, it was Dodo.

Different from when he left, he was flying horizontally and smashed directly into the ground, creating an irregular crater.

The crowd didn't understand what had happened, only raising their hands to block the flying dirt and rocks.

It took a while for the dust to settle before they shockingly discovered: Dodo's right arm was broken at the elbow! His five fingers were also twisted and turned in unnatural angles!

Shi Jingyan, well aware of how tough this man's body was, now said with a face full of horror, "He's been broken by imnse force! Who in the world could do this?"

While everyone was still in shock and confusion, a figure descended from the sky, it was Lu Yao.

~~~~~~~
At this mont, Lu Yao surveyed the situation on the battlefield and then said indifferently,
"Dodo, tell the origin of the tal pillars and everything about White Deer Immortal Saint Han, and you can die a little less painfully."
Dodo, unafraid, cursed, "Monster! You will not die a good death!"
With that, he used his remaining arm to strike at his enemy with the "Soul Dispersion Claw"!
"Wrong answer," Lu Yao instantly executed a move from 'Sombre Dragon Clasping Grief'.
The fist transford into a black shadow that whistled out, the force terrifying yet full of endless variations, and with a loud "bang," Dodo's remaining arm was broken at the elbow!
The force generated by the clash of their moves turned into a gust of wind, causing the surrounding people to repeatedly back away.
Shi Jingyan couldn't believe his eyes and said, "This is a fist technique derived from Great Lance's moves! But...how can it possess such imnse power!"
The opponent he had struggled to break through before looked as feeble as a chicken before this man...
At this mont, behind Lu Yao, a Mind Projection manifested, stretching out a luminous giant hand and picked up Dodo like a chicken.
"How about now, feel like talking?"
Dodo, with both arms broken and in pitiful anguish, spat out a mouthful of blood in response, but the blood was suspended mid-air by an invisible force.
It was only now that the surrounding Qing soldiers snapped out of their daze, shouting continually, "Quick, save our master!" "Support the Prince!"
A hundred thousand n, led by officers at all levels, ford up and charged toward Lu Yao, as the "Red-Cloaked Cannons" also fired ruthlessly.
Lu Yao, however, found these little insects botherso, and the Mind Projection behind him grew even more solid, towering a hundred ters high, a figure with three heads and six arms, like a demonic god, appeared between heaven and earth!
In the midst of countless horrified expressions, the Mind Projection unleashed the longest-ranged and most destructive skill, "Supre Taiyi Thunderclap Hand"!
Six arms, grouped two by two, clashed their palms together, creating a thunderous din,
One particle after another pushed and compressed against each other, instantly forming three explosive shock waves, shooting towards the most crowded places!
Upon impact, a 50-ter high wave of earth and stones erupted with the roaring noise, and the violent shock waves rcilessly tore apart countless Qing soldiers.
Even the re aftershocks made the ground shake violently, which made it impossible for the average person to even stand steady.
Shi Dewei quickly used his body to protect his adoptive father, thankfully Lu Yao had intentionally avoided the area they were at.
Then, one shock wave after another blasted forth, with continuous, intense roars tearing the sky apart, the battleground was instantly shattered!
It was unknown how long the attack lasted, but when the dust finally settled, the entire Qing Army camp no longer existed, leaving nothing but countless craters.
Of the hundred thousand Qing soldiers, only a few lucky ones who clung to their severed limbs and broken arms wailed, the rest were reduced to dust.
