"Various indications suggest that the target has been making every effort to evade the Electromagnetic Cannon, evidently filled with dread. I suggest that we focus on this moving forward."

At this mont, a discussion eting was underway in the Doomsday Bunker.

In attendance were weapon experts, scientists, generals, high-ranking intelligence officials, and even advisors to the President, totaling around 50 people—all elite mbers of the Star Alliance Country.

They were sitting at a large conference table, discussing matter, while a giant screen in the conference room was playing footage of Lu Yao flying in the stratosphere.

"The target has acquired the ability to fly, but its agility far from matches its capabilities on the ground, this could be exploited to launch an attack in the future."

"The caliber of the Electromagnetic Cannon must be reduced; the power is already sufficient, what we lack now is the speed to instantly annihilate the target."

Midway through the discussion, it was the intelligence departnt's turn to speak.

A female official from the National Defense Intelligence Agency operated her tablet a few tis, and the giant screen displayed a piece of jewelry with an eye in the center of a triangle, the very Star Key.

"Gentlen, I have received reliable information that the target has investigated this object twice! This must be extrely important to him!"

Having said this, she looked towards the Deputy Director of the Foreign Affairs Bureau—Hogan, and continued:

"And this object belongs to the Foreign Affairs Bureau! Do you have anything to say?"

Her tone was aggressive, as the Foreign Affairs Bureau had intentionally concealed this matter.

The world's largest intelligence agency has always acted independently, often to the detrint of its colleagues.

Everyone was well aware of this fact and now all eyes turned towards Hogan.

This intelligence officer, who had had contact with Lu Yao, resembled a villain from The Matrix sowhat, except he was not wearing sunglasses.

"Indeed, this is an object belonging to the Foreign Affairs Bureau, but it has already been lost."

Concerning the secrets of the Foreign Affairs Bureau, Hogan originally did not want to discuss it, but given the circumstances, there was nothing left to hide:

"The item was acquired from the Nazis and has been emitting a type of low-frequency electromagnetic wave, akin to human brain waves, so it was handed over to the 'Brain Control Project' laboratory for ancillary research.

In the 1970s, the laboratory faced a slew of criticism and was shut down; the whereabouts of the object beca unknown, suspected to have been taken by Ole Bjorne, the person in charge of the lab at the ti."

The crowd pondered for a mont, sorting out the relationships.

The female intelligence official from the Defense Intelligence Bureau continued, "The target has sent people to investigate this object twice before and after, this object is very likely to be the key to his powers."

The people present agreed with this point, and a military scientist asked, "Mr. Hogan, do you have the research materials from that ti?"

Hogan nodded, "Due to the age, there are only paper materials, I will personally bring them here."

It wasn't long before Hogan returned with a file bag that looked very dated.

"Although it may be superfluous, I still have to say—those with a security clearance level below 22, please step out."

Even the President's security clearance level was only 23; these conditions were rather stringent.

But after waiting for a mont, no one left.

Those who could co to this "Doomsday Bunker" were all elite mbers of the Star Alliance Country, and their clearance levels were naturally sufficient.

Hogan imdiately opened the file bag, and a group of scientists crowded around.

After barely a glance, an older scientist with graying hair exclaid excitedly, "This is great! The researchers from back then recorded in detail the spectrum of the electromagnetic waves!"

Soon, soone else echoed even more excitedly, "With the aid of modern technological ans, we are likely to make headway! We might even decode the secret of Superman!"

Subsequently, several scientists expressed the sa sentint.

This matter had significant implications, and related research work was imdiately initiated with all demands being t without delay!

The entire microfluidics and biodical instruntation lab from Wayne State University was even relocated here to facilitate the research.

Driven by powerful forces from all aspects, progress was very smooth.

The elite of the Star Alliance Country had made contact with an extraordinary entity.

At this mont, in the Otherworld's Rakshasa Country.

Inside the glittering Winter Palace St. George Hall, the Fear Ancestor donned a velvet high-collared cape, reclining on the Tsar's throne, amusedly watching the two groups of people before him.

To the left were won, to the right were n, a hundred each, all trembling with a color of despair painted across their faces.

Fear lifted a hand and gently squeezed towards the n, and the air in the hall beca harder than steel, suddenly compressing.

The hundred n were imdiately flattened like mice run over by a car, their blood drawn by an invisible force, pouring into Fear's mouth.

After drinking, he smacked his lips, his face awash with ecstasy as he comnted, "Blood filled with fear, just like strong liquor."

The remaining won scread, their expressions filled with hatred, for these n were their husbands, fathers, or even children.

Fear waved his hand again and sucked the won dry of blood in the sa manner.

"The blood of hatred, slightly sour, has whetted my appetite."

He savored the different flavors in the blood, anwhile commanding the nearby Empress Catherine, "Prepare another 500 people."

Empress Catherine's expression froze.

She too was a vampire, who had thought that bathing in the blood of virgins was evil enough.

But compared to the one before her, she was as pure as an angel.

Empress Catherine ventured, "Great Primordial Ancestor, why not spare these lambs so that they could supply you with fresh blood every day..."

Before she could finish her sentence, her vision blurred, and a hand was already caressing her cheek.

Fear, content yet unknowable, had already appeared beside her, saying,

"This is exactly why you are so weak. Blood is rely a vessel, the true indulgence lies in the spirit it contains—anger, hatred, despair... Plain blood cannot give strength."

Empress Catherine forced a dry laugh, "But... there aren't many lambs left."

Fear stood up, approached a map and said, "No matter, this planet is vast... Let's go here—Yi Dynasty, with a population of hundreds of millions, not bad."

No sooner had he spoken when he suddenly froze.

At this mont, Fear heard a voice from the depths of the Starry Sea, bringing distant greetings from the Star Alliance Country through photon leap.

Yet the voice was quieter than that of a petal falling to the ground, completely inaudible.

But this was enough to exhilarate Fear, "This is... Planet No. 3 from the original plan!!! To think they'd co to voluntarily!!!"

The next second, he burst into wild laughter, "Hahahaha, fate is always full of surprises!"

He could no longer care about the Yi Dynasty, for an entire planet was far more tempting than a native country with only a hundred million inhabitants!

Fear leapt powerfully, cracking the ground beneath him into a spider-web of fissures the size of a football field, reaching an altitude of ten thousand ters in an instant.

Then he swung his fist mightily towards the sky!

The punch was unbelievably fast, the friction with the atmosphere producing an orange glow like a teor, creating terrifying gusts of wind. The colliding air masses ford a shockwave that tore through the atmosphere, unveiling the cosmic starscape.

And Fear did all this, rely to respond to the Star Alliance Country.

It wasn't even a coherent sentence or word, just a simple acknowledgnt.

Then, as usual, these primitives, yet to leave their mother star, would establish a beacon like monkeys in heat, allowing him to transmit himself there.

No need for words, no need for explanations; greedy humans would deceive themselves, and desire would make them fall into the abyss with false hope!
