Chapter 261 I can“t wai
The video clip started with a scene of what appeared to be a fatal car accident. A flashing lights of ambulance and police cars appeared next as a dramatic, captivating and soulful lody began. A girl was laid on the white hospital bed before the video focused in the girl’s beautiful eyes which were closed. And then, there was total darkness. A second later, a light appeared and gradually swallowed the darkness. The girl’s lashes fluttered like ethereal butterfly wings. She woke up in what appeared to be a magical forest. She blinked in slow motion as she looked up and stared at the falling snow before the video shifted above the trees before a word was then written on the blue sky –"Dream". Xiao Mimi’s na then appeared next, followed by Star Castle’s logo before it ended.
"How was it?" Yu Chen asked and Xiaolei smiled at him. Her eyes were welling as she hugged her husband.
"It’s beautiful." Was all she said. "I just hope people will like it."
"The liked it Xiaolei... look at the views." Yu Chen said confidently and the mont Xiaolei’s head snapped back on her laptop screen and saw the number of views, her eyes almost jumped out of its socket.
"Whoah!! I-it’s already more than a million?!" she gasped. She stayed quite elevated for a while before she looked at Yu Chen again.
"Thank you, I know part of this is because of the insane advertising you planned."
"No, actually, I didn’t do that much. I think your fans are just starved enough for your official debut. Why don’t you look at the comnts and see for yourself?" he suggested and Xiaolei swallowed. She couldn’t help but feel nervous.
The mont she saw the number of comnts; she was again overwheld. She glanced at her husband again before she started reading.
"Oh god, where did this bomb ca from? Our Xiao Mimi will finally debut after f*cking four years?! And what the hell’s with this teaser? The lody sounded so damn heart touching!! I even though it was a movie’s trailer at first! The cinematography is just too perfect!! This isn’t half assed at all!!"
"Wahh!!! What is this?? It’s just a teaser but I’m already damn excited!! At long last!! Xiao Mimi’s debut is finally here!! I could tell by the lody alone that this will be another hit!! Ahh, what a soothing lody!"

After reading those comnts, Xiaolei’s heart was soothed to the extre. She of course knew that there were negative comnts but she focused on the most liked comnts and they were all so encouraging. She was utterly happy with the result, and her excitent was elevated to the highest degree.
"How was it?" Yu Chen asked, seeing her expression and Xiaolei hugged him.
"I’m happy. I can’t wait." She uttered and Yu Chen caressed her head. "I can’t wait to tell the world about our story."

Xiaolei spent the rest of the day with her family. Surprisingly, Yu Chen asked the twins to sleep with them that night as well so the boys didn’t return to Yu residence. They then wore their iconic panda pajamas and they cuddled on the bed like what they used to do before the couple’s accident five months ago.
The day was peaceful, so peaceful and happy that Xiaolei didn’t want the day to end yet. It’s been such a long ti since she had a relaxing day like this without any worry and other unpleasant matters that were bugging her mind, so she kind of wish for it to last a little longer. But she knew that tomorrow should co and sothing amazing was waiting for her.
And thus, the next day, everyone was ready to go back to work. Xiaolei didn’t have ti to check the video again so she didn’t know that the already viral video clip caused an even bigger uproar.
As the couple stepped out of their house, already dressed with fine and tailored business suits, soone suddenly popped before them. It was no other than the historian, Gu Wei.
The man blocked their way, like a cat dropping himself in the middle of a busy high way. His eyes were narrowed as his gaze darted back and forth between Xiaolei’s face and on the screen of his phone.
