Chapter 219 I, love and you
Luo Xiaolei froze in place the mont she saw the man on the rock. He was sitting there quietly with one leg slightly folded and the other one was dangling. He was gazing quietly up at the beautiful white moon.
The scene back in her childhood flashed like a beautiful movie in her eyes as she looked at him. This was almost the sa as that very day when she saw him for the second ti sitting on top of the rock when they were younger. Although, unlike back then, the adow wasn’t covered with white snow. He also wasn’t wearing a black coat but a white fluffy outfit and he wasn’t looking at her with cold eyes.
The sight of him sitting there made Luo Xiaolei’s heartbeat turn wild. She never thought that Yu Chen would surprise her this way. She was unable to even speak. She was so emotional. Her heart was just so overwheld.
The moon above was shining brightly. Unlike the bright and sparkling path she had just walked through, the only thing lighting up the adow was the big white moon.
Slowly, Xiaolei finally approached the rock in the middle of the adow, not taking her eyes off the man sitting on top of it. She felt thrilled; her heart overflowing with emotions. This was unexpectedly exciting.
Once she reached him, the man on top of the rock then looked at her. He flashed a gentle smile before he stretched his hand towards her. She rembered this exact scene again and a smile carved on her face as she took his hand. He pulled her up wordlessly. This was really damn so nostalgic, she couldn’t help but tear up.
They stood on top of the rock, gazing up at each other under the moonlight. They didn’t say a word and just held each other’s hands tightly. Their eyes were glimring as they quietly stayed like that for a long while.
\"Xiaolei...\" Yu Chen finally uttered a word, breaking the silence of the night. Xiaolei didn’t know why but the way he uttered her na that mont just sounded so magical , so pleasing that it had ssed up the rhythm of her heartbeat.
\"Can you close your eyes for a mont?\" he asked and the corner of Xiaolei’s lips curved up again. This was trully beyond her expectation.
\"Of course,\" she replied before she obediently closed her eyes.
She felt him move and as the seconds ticked by, the anticipation kept building up, higher and higher. God only knew just how much Xiaolei wanted to peek and look at what he was doing.
Finally, she felt him hold her hand again. He seed to be squatting down. \"Squat down but don’t open your eyes yet.\" He said as he carefully guided her.
\"Can I open my eyes now?\" Xiaolei asked as she smiled.
The mont she heard him said yes, Xiaolei held her breath and opened her eyes. But what appeared before her was Yu Chen’s face. He was resting his face on his palm and his fingers were covering half of his face. His eyes were flickering as he gazed at her. He seed embarrassed and was probably blushing.
When he looked down on the space between them, Xiaolei followed his gaze and what she saw made her gape.
A little candle was lit up and beside it were three chocolate bars. She rembered, this was her favorite chocolate when she was a child.
There were three words written on each of the boxes – I, LOVE and YOU.
Xiaolei smiled so wide upon reading it. She bit her lips and smiled again before she buried her face in her palms. Her heart was pounding so loud she didn’t even know which of the overflowing emotions in her heart she should express first. This was really too much for heart. Must this man be so damn adorably romantic? How did he... how did this innocent maiden think of all these?
The flustered Luo Xiaolei slowly put down her hands and looked at him. The gorgeous man across her now looked anxious as he waited for her response.
Looking at him, Xiaolei was shaking her head in disbelief. She couldn’t believe that he beat her and confessed first. Her big adorable and innocent panda did the cutest confession ever and she already felt like dying from all this excessive cuteness. Who would’ve thought that this man would do sothing like this?
Xiaolei suddenly stood, put her hands on her waist and she looked up at the bright moon above. Yu Chen also stood and when she looked at him, his anxious expression obviously worsened.
\"Yu Chen,\" she uttered his na. She stretched out her hands and moved her palms to rest against his cheeks. \"I love you, too.\" She finally replied before she jumped on him. She embraced him tightly despite feeling him turn into stone.
She pulled away and stared into his eyes. \"Did you hear ? I said I love you too,\" she repeated and the frozen man finally blinked.
\"I love you,\" she said for the third ti and this ti, it was Yu Chen who yanked her into his embrace. His grip on her was so tight that Xiaolei couldn’t pull away to kiss him. She really wanted to kiss him right now.
\"Yu Chen...\" she mumbled against his chest. \"I want to kiss you.\"
The mont Yu Chen heard her, he slowly let go of her and before he could even look at her face, Xiaolei’s lips were already pressed against his.
She kissed him hard. The inner little beast in her had been unleashed. Her fingers knotted in his hair as she clung onto him. She pressed her tongue on the seam of his lips and at his grant of access, her tongue delved inside his mouth. His hands drifted to her hip and settled there as he too pulled her closer.
Their breathing quickened. Fireworks exploded, sparks flew in every direction as tingles and desire enveloped them both.
It was simply magical.
