\"It wasn’t... it wasn’t a coincidence.\" Yu Chen didn’t hesitate to answer. He was gazing at her thoughtfully, carefully watching her expressions.
Luo Xiaolei gazed back at him, a million questions in her eyes.
\"You attended the party to see ?\"
\"Yes,\"
\"Were you looking for ?\"
He nodded.
\"How long have you been looking for before you found that night? Kyuu said that you three went abroad after leaving Snowflake village.\"
Yu Chen was surprised with her last sentence. \"You...\" he uttered as he looked at her with widened eyes.
\"Mm. I finally rembered everything. You brought there that day because you wanted to rember you, right?\"
Suddenly, Yu Chen’s expression grew somber. His eyes intent on her face as the silence lengthened.
Xiaolei raised her hand and touched his face. \"The accident made rember all the mories I lost.\"
\"You... you lost your mory?\" Yu Chen couldn’t believe what he heard. When Xiaolei told him everything that happened from that day she saw him killing Mr. Han until she fell on the slope and lost her mories, Yu Chen was so shocked he froze for a long while. Pain and regret started to fill his eyes. All he could do at that mont was yank her towards him and embrace her.
\"I’m sorry... I’m sorry... I didn’t know. I thought you really hated and decided to forget about . I didn’t know you were hurt...\"
\"No, you don’t have anything to apologize for. You and I didn’t know a thing about what had happened that ti. I thought you left while you thought I hated you. It was all a misunderstanding.\" She smiled so gently at him and her sweet smile and her words made his face finally soften..
He sighed, deeply relieved. At the sa ti, he couldn’t help but feel guilty and upset knowing that Xiaolei had suffered a lot as well. And that he didn’t even know it. All this ti, he thought that she really hated him that she decided to forget everything about him.
\"Could it be that you were still thinking that I hated you until this ti? That was why you didn’t answer when I asked you why you approached that night at my grandfather’s birthday?\"
Yu Chen silently nodded again. \"Sigh... how could I hate you? Even as a child, I knew just how much I adored you back then.\"

His intensity made Xiaolei’s heart flutter. She couldn’t explain why but his declaration made her happy.

The two then spent the remaining ti reminiscing about their past. Xiaolei asked Yu Chen about what he did after he left Snowflakes village and the man told her that he had spent his youth in a war torn country, looking for sothing interesting, while hiding. He told her that he had t Sei and Zaki during his stay in country H.
When Yu Chen asked her back about what happened to her after she left that day, Xiaolei also told him the unexciting story of her life. She told him that she returned to Snowflakes village and lived a quiet simple life until she returned to Central City when she was eighteen.
The two were like old buddies that had finally reconciled after so many years and before they knew it, they had already spent hours just talking about the past and answering each other’s questions.
Xiaolei was about to open her mouth to ask again when they both heard a vibrating sound. Yu Chen lifted the phone that was on the table and answered the call.
\"Boss, what’s the order? Everything’s ready.\" They both heard Gu Wei’s voice and when Yu Chen looked at the clock, he was surprised.
\"We’re going to get ready now.\" Answered Yu Chen before he looked at Xiaolei. \"Xiaolei, we’re going ho,\" he said and Xiaolei nodded at him.
\"Okay, but I still have a lot of questions to ask once we get ho, okay?\"
\"Mm.\"
After that, they finally returned to their rooms. Xiaolei imdiately packed up. She couldn’t believe that she had lived in this place for four months. It was still like a dream.
When everything was ready, Xiaolei was getting suspicious because Yu Chen seed to be delaying. She couldn’t even talk to him after they separated because he was always talking to soone on the phone. She waited for him patiently but the man suddenly seed so busy. Gladly, she also received an important call from the company at that ti so she sohow made herself busy as well while waiting for Yu Chen.
The sun was about to set and they were still at the hospital. Xiaolei finally decided to confront Yu Chen when the Chens suddenly arrived.
Err... was this big panda waiting for them?
Yu Chen had spent an hour talking to Sei and Zaki. Xiaolei was busy with the docunt Gu Jinyang sent her that she didn’t even notice the trio, especially Zaki and Yu Chen glancing at her occasionally as if they were talking about her. Yu Chen was serious as always while Zaki was grinning about sothing.
Ti passed and the Chens were finally about to leave.
\"Do your best, little bro,\" Zaki was grinning widely, even winking as he patted Yu Chen’s shoulder. \"You’re our brother so I believe you will do well, hehe. Just don’t faint, okay?\"
\"I won’t.\" Yu Chen firmly replied, causing Zaki to chuckle.
\"That’s the spirit. Fainting is definitely out of the question. Also, I have so golden advice for you,\" Zaki leaned in on Yu Chen to whisper sothing but before he could say anything, Sei pulled him away from Yu Chen.
\"Stop giving unnecessary advice.\" Sei was serious, causing Zaki to pout in disappointnt.
\"We’re leaving now, Yu Chen. Do your best.\" Sei simply said as he too patted Yu Chen’s shoulder, before the two finally walked away from him.
\"Little sis, we’re leaving.\" Zaki said as they stopped before Xiaolei and the busy Xiaolei imdiately stood and bid them goodbye.
As soon as the two were gone, Yu Chen then walked towards Xiaolei and at long last, they too finally left the hospital.
