To what extent could soone go that even a Devil would call him a Devil? Peddler had no qualms in finding that out, for he truly was as he established himself, an unscrupulous rchant through and through.

A large patch of the continent he ruled was on fire now, burning up the majority of the army that had arrived to invade them.

Invaderon's side had taken a brutal hit, but on the other hand, he, the cause, was more concerned about sothing else, staring at the stream of bullets being spewed by the machine guns, watching the intensity of fire gradually reduce in potency.

He then stared upward, noticing mysterious words form in the sky, sighing in wonder, 'So, that's the power a world gains when Lore and Tell-Tale work in sync.'

A single machine gun was capable of mowing down thousands of people as long as the bullets feeding into its barrel didn't stop. For the world of Faith Grounds, where power should only be attained through either faith or fear, the existence of hot weapons was an unnecessary variable.

And hence, upon determining that it wasn't necessary, the laws were actively rearranging themselves to neutralise that, as evidenced by the firepower rapidly falling in a matter of seconds.

Peddler had expected it before itself, having seen that despite possessing the ans to arm his believers with modern weapons to instantly destroy the believers of his enemies, the God of Humanity hasn't done that.

Heck, just equipping people with an assault rifle version of Anthozoa would be enough to topple the ga. But of course, it was because the mont these people take a large enough action, the laws of the world would interfere and would simply 'write off' Anthozoa into oblivion.

So, any advantage brought about by technology could only be used once, that too for a short duration, before they would beco scrap.

Once the machine guns beca useless, the fort walls began to collapse rapidly. Despite the majority of the invader army being burnt by the sea of flas, there was still a sizeable fraction of them alive.

And they took charge to swarm the defenceless fort walls using the weakness of the machine guns becoming obsolete.

Peddler snapped his finger, giving a command as imdiately, the undead army he had stolen from Invaderon charged forth, engaging with the remainder of Invaderon's army.

Boom!

Inron opened its mouth and blasted forth a breath attack, lighting up the souls of every creature that was within the range of its attack, turning them into Soul Fires. It then opened its mouth and absorbed them, rapidly healing to offset the damage from the oil flas.

The oil continued to pour down relentlessly though, fuelling the flas nonstop. Staring at the process, Peddler nodded, "And that deals with his army."

He stared at Invaderon, "That just leaves you."

"Fine, if that's what you want, I'll co to you myself." Invaderon glared in anger as he commanded Inron to charge into Peddler's domain, "We'll duke it out now."

"Before that, you must deal with my guard dog." Peddler smiled casually as he took out a massive coin and threw it toward Inron. It shone with a resplendent light and exploded to bring out the figure of Essencer, fully modified to retain his powers in a mutated form.

"I'll take care of it!" Nefear said as she crashed right into Essencer, exchanging hundreds of attacks in the blink of an eye, staring in surprise to see Essencer only sporting scratches, "His body is different from my intel."

"Well, I obviously infused expensive alloys in his body." Peddler comnted, "It's not to ntion organs extracted from countless Saints. As his nature is to absorb and store essence, he perfectly encapsulates the various organs filled with faith and fear, the perfect guard dog to protect my domain."

Boom!

In response to his words, Essencer burst out with power and attacked Nefear, beginning to overwhelm her in a matter of seconds.

"Four of you assist her." Invaderon stared at his Horned Elites, watching them take action imdiately. He then commanded the remaining, "Another four of you take off and slaughter Peddler's people."

"The remaining two co with !" Saying so, Invaderon leaped from Inron's head and rushed at Peddler, becoming empowered as he invaded the opponent's domain.

Roar!

Inron rushed forth and slamd its head into Peddler's mountain as the two Devils engaged in a bloody battle, with the followers on both sides falling like flies during a bargain wholesale.

"I guess that's the end of our fated conflict, Compass." Arnark exhaled slowly as he turned his attention away from the barrier erected by Peddler and focused on Compass Carburettor's corpse.

He approached it and muttered, "You might still have a thod to revive. So, just to be on the safer side…"

He clenched his hand into a fist, condensed a bit of faith in it, and slamd it down, obliterating the rest of the body, relishing in the satisfaction of having defeated the Main Character that he himself judged to be better than himself.

So, it was akin to surpassing the greatest of Main Characters to beco the reigning supre…well, that would have been the truth had he truly killed Compass Carburettor.

"Are you having fun with your dream?" A familiar voice resounded from behind him, startling Arnark who turned around, eyes widened in shock to stare at the figure of Compass Carburettor standing there casually.

"The God of Humanity…isn't dead?" Yedu was the first to exclaim in shock.

"I knew it!" The God of Rain heaved a sigh in relief, continuing to pray.

"You're not…dead?" Arnark muttered in disbelief, "How? That's not possible! I know the extent of your powers clearly."

"Your Symbol of Authority, Tool of Authority, and Mode of Bestowal, I know their properties. No way you could avoid death through them, irrespective of the combination you attempt." He shouted in a fluster.

"You're right about that." Compass Carburettor nodded as a matter of fact, watching Arnark's expression beco one of relief for a mont when his tone beca one of mockery, "But that's only if you kill ."

"What you've been pumlling all along is naught but a ghost of your imagination."

"Arnark," He laughed, "It was all in your head."
