Judas spent nearly thirty minutes trying to explain the logistics. It wasn’t as simple as just having sex; he had to make her understand that physical intimacy alone wouldn’t grant her access to the Couple Space.
The initial idea of tasting a dragon girl had sounded exciting in his head. Who wouldn’t want to experience such a powerful creature?
However, the reality crashing down afterward quickly killed his mood. If she couldn’t enter his sanctuary after the act, she would likely fly into a rage.
A frustrated dragon was not sothing he wanted to deal with, especially when her first instinct might be to eat him.
His hardened mber went soft at the thought. Judas wasn’t stupid; he knew a single session of pleasure wouldn’t earn him her absolute devotion. He glanced above her head, searching for any sign of change.
There was nothing. No affection indicator appeared. To her, he wasn’t even a person worthy of acknowledgent yet.
Doubts began to creep into his mind. Was adding her to the harem really a good idea? The Abyssal Princess Zephriya was already a massive headache.
Dealing with one high-maintenance girl was hard enough. It was only because the System could suppress Zephriya that he had any peace.
And that only happened after Sumr beca fully devoted to him, giving him the leverage he needed to escape the princess’s continuous nagging.
Zephriya was slowly warming up to him, with her affection nearing twenty-five. But this dragon? Judas had no clue how to gain her recognition.
She had ntioned a "Master" rank earlier. That concept was completely alien to him. In his previous life, the so-called Hero had only reached the Elite stage.
Most people thought power stages just ant stronger skills. That was true for Initiates; their fireballs got bigger, and their swords got sharper. But everything changed at the Apprentice stage. That was when Titles began to matter.
It might sound like a small difference, but the impact was massive. Let explain. In his past life, the Hero held the specific title of [Hero].
Every ti he saved a human, he earned their gratitude. It seed like a passive, useless chanic at first.
But as he continued rescuing people, that gratitude accumulated. It grew dense and heavy until it ford a unique Domain around him.
Inside that Domain, the Hero beca the absolute controller. The laws of reality bent to his will. If he died within that golden circle, he would resurrect instantly.
He could even extend that power to others, reviving fallen allies. The only cost was that his Domain would shrink slightly with each revival.
Yet, even with such an overpowered buff, that man had fallen in the end. From the Adept stage onwards, skills gained control over natural laws.
That was a fundantal qualitative improvent. Elites could form their own permanent domains. And a Master?
Judas didn’t even know what a Master could do. Whatever it was, it would be a terrifying power capable of reshaping the world.
"But if I can’t enter, she will find in a few hours," Nyx said, cutting through his thoughts. "Although she doesn’t have any spatial skills, her raw speed can reach the speed of sound."
Judas looked at her face, hoping to see panic. He found it. Her composure was cracking. But then, her golden eyes locked onto him, and she blinked. The fear vanished.
"Then you are of no use," she stated flatly. "If mating with you won’t hide ... then I may as well eat you anyway. At least my stomach will be filled, albeit only a bit."
She bared her sharp teeth at him.
Under different circumstances, Judas might have found it cute. If Sumr had said that, he would have jokingly offered his arm for a bite. But Nyx wasn’t joking; she sounded completely serious. The killing intent rolling off her was heavy.
He imdiately raised his hands in surrender. "Oh, wait! There is another way too."
"I do not bond with you," she spat coldly. "Not only you. There are no beings in this world worthy of my—"
"I am not asking you to permanently stay that way," Judas interrupted her before she could finish her arrogant speech.
She frowned, pausing her threat. "What do you an by that?"
"We will bond with each other," Judas explained quickly. "But on the condition that both of us can exit the contract at any ti."
"That is impossible," Nyx scoffed. "There are no contracts with such flexible terms. Once a soul is bound—"
She stopped talking abruptly.
Judas had waved his hand, projecting a special holographic scroll he had just purchased from the System store. His heart bled as he watched his affection points vanish.
More than three hundred thousand of them drained away in an instant. In their place, a terrifying red number appeared: negative five hundred thousand.
He was in massive debt.
The System had helped him out, offering a loan to cover the cost. There was a ’Celestial Equilibrium Contract’ in the market that cost nearly eight hundred thousand points. It was an item beyond his current ans, but necessary for survival.
Nyx’s gaze widened as she read the glowing contents of the scroll. Her golden eyes flashed with recognition as she finished reading the complex runes.
"Wonderful..." she whispered.
For the first ti, an affection ter appeared above her head. It wasn’t the red of negative hatred, nor the green of positive love.
It was greyed out. It looked almost like a zero, but not quite. It ant she acknowledged his existence, even if she didn’t like him yet.
Judas finally breathed a sigh of relief; he wasn’t going to be eaten today.
Nyx stared at him intently. "As a being who has controlled world laws, I have never seen a combination of rules like this. It isn’t from this place. You co from the Tears, right?"
Judas didn’t answer. He kept his expression neutral, maintaining a mysterious aura. If she wanted to believe he was from so legendary place beyond the Tears, he wouldn’t correct her.
Nyx took his silence as confirmation and nodded.
"Good. But there are so special terms here I find strange. Why should my power be sealed away to match yours if I bond with you?" Her brows furrowed in confusion.
Judas praised the System in his mind; it always made things favorable for him. The idea of binding her power to his level was the System’s suggestion.
If the dragon bonded with him, her cultivation would be restricted to match his until she broke the contract. As he leveled up, she would unlock more of her original strength.
This clause was vital. It would help him avoid being bullied by her. More importantly, it would give his wives protection from a higher being.
If she retained her full power, she could accidentally kill them all with a sneeze. So might call Judas an extremist for neutering a dragon, but he didn’t care. Survival ca first.
The fact that Nyx even considered this humiliating term proved just how terrifying her pursuer was.
This person nad ’Violet’ must be a nightmare. She literally forced a dragon to even consider bonding with a weak human to escape.
