The person beside nodded and said, "I noticed it when I first got here. It’s highly likely that the mutated Barley Grass Seeds have the ability to engulf the seeds of wildflowers, so these wildflowers don’t have space to survive in this adow, but it’s also possible that there are other unknown factors."

This person was a colleague of Lu Ye’s and also a technician; he had graduated from the Agricultural University. Qiao Qingyu agreed with his statent.

Then Qiao Qingyu walked towards another direction where there were no people. The view was fairly open here. Everyone was scattered around, and coming here for an inspection was considered research. They needed to gain sothing before returning.

But they wouldn’t stay here for too long.

Qingyu headed southwest, and not far from her was the figure of Chen Tianliang.

Just like everyone else, Qingyu examined the grass and soil. Chen Tianliang had been not far foreword from her, but suddenly, he disappeared from Qingyu’s view. Qingyu didn’t take it to heart as she placed her fingers on the soil beneath the grass leaves, wondering why it grew so lushly. Why had it mutated so suddenly?

It might not necessarily be because of the seeds, since He Xiuyu had said that the seeds from the Space Device would not mutate easily. Therefore, the problem must lie in the soil.

Qingyu pinched a clump of soil and when she looked up again, she suddenly saw Chen Tianliang.

However, Tianliang seed to have moved a ter or two, actually closer to her. The grass was indeed tall, but they weren’t far apart, and the height of the grass didn’t reach a person’s height. With Tianliang’s stature over 1.8 ters, even if he crouched down, the grass couldn’t block his figure, especially since he was only bending over slightly.

Could she be seeing things?

Qingyu was unsure as she rubbed the soil in her hands, but it felt increasingly hot, as if there was so inexplicable connection with her fingers. This feeling had risen suddenly.

Involuntarily, Qingyu thought of her Space Device; after all, she was different from others. Faced with such a phenonon, she would automatically think of her Space Device.

Then Qingyu couldn’t help but take another look at Chen Tianliang in front of her. This ti she suddenly stood up, blinking in disbelief. Where Tianliang had just been standing, there was now nothing but grass swaying softly with the wind.

Further away were the figures of others, but Tianliang was not among them.

At that mont, Qingyu clutched her clothes, her heart surging with shock. Could Chen Tianliang have entered the outer part of her Space Device like Elder Zhang from the Zhang Family?

If that were the case, it would be terrible because the distance between them was too close, unlike when she was in Xichuan and Elder Zhang was in North City.

Qingyu quickly concentrated her mind like she did last ti, silently thinking: "Get out."

She didn’t close her eyes, instead staring fixedly at the spot where Tianliang had disappeared. More than twenty seconds had passed.

Chen Tianliang did not reappear, aning he hadn’t entered the outer part of her Space Device.

The anxiety Qingyu felt in her throat eased slightly, but then she tensed up again as, in the next second, Tianliang reappeared.

Qingyu’s eyes widened in horror and she called out, "Brother Chen."

Chen Tianliang turned around, saw it was Qingyu, nodded to her, then thought for a mont and walked towards her, asking in a deep voice, "Did you find sothing?"

Qingyu stared blankly at Chen Tianliang, wondering if he was completely unaware of his sudden disappearances and reappearances.

This was truly bizarre.

She looked around at the surroundings, and no one else showed any sign of noticing the abnormality, aning that only she had noticed Tianliang’s strange behavior.

The words Qingyu wanted to say were swallowed back down.

She said with a smile, "Not at the mont, and actually, there’s no need to make a big deal out of it. Lu Ye also ntioned earlier that mutations in plants are not uncommon in botany. It’s just not clear if this phenonon is happening elsewhere."

Chen Tianliang clearly hadn’t realized his own strange phenonon of suddenly appearing and disappearing. In a gentle voice, he said, "We’ve already called all the regions where Barley Grass is planted, asking them to quickly send soone to check. If any anomalies are found, we here will receive a ssage."
