Chapter 429: Chapter 426 – Expedition Registration

The second morning in Silvermist arrived with brighter and warr sunlight than the previous day. The thin mist that usually blanketed the main square had completely disappeared, replaced by a gentle morning breeze still carrying the bite of the previous night’s cold. The soft yet bright morning sunlight seeped through the gaps in the old wooden windows of the second-floor inn room. The golden rays danced across the cold stone floor, illuminating small floating dust particles and touching the adventurer clothes that had been neatly arranged on the simple carved wooden bed. The air in the room was still thick with the aroma of fresh baked bread and strong black coffee rising from the kitchen downstairs, mixed with the typical scent of adventurers: weapon oil, worn leather, cold iron, and a faint herbal sll from healing potions.

The atmosphere at the Silver Moon Inn felt more tense today. It was no longer an ordinary day where Sylvia, Stacia, and Alicia pretended to be traveling spice rchants. Today was the official registration day for the northern dinsional rift expedition, a high-risk mission that promised great rewards as well as unimaginable dangers. The three sisters knew very well that even a small mistake could be fatal.

In the comfortable yet simple room with stone walls and a wooden ceiling, the three of them prepared with great care. Every movent was done ticulously, as if preparing for a small battle before the real big one.

Sylvia, the youngest but the leader of the group, chose the most lethal yet efficient appearance. She wore a tight black tank top made of elastic material that clung perfectly to her smooth, pale skin. The outfit accentuated her athletic figure, subtly muscled shoulders from years of sword training, a strong slim waist, and quite large, firm breasts. Over the tank top, she wore an open black cropped jacket with long sleeves, deliberately left unbuttoned to reveal her beautifully sculpted flat abs and proportional hips. Black leggings perfectly hugged her legs, providing maximum movent flexibility while highlighting her graceful long legs. Her long black hair was tied up in a simple, dynamic ponytail that swayed with every movent. At her slim waist hung a slender rapier with an elegant black hilt that had claid countless lives. She also concealed several small knives behind her jacket and in her sturdy black leather boots.

Stacia, the middle sister who was the most shy and analytical, chose a similar but more covered style. Her tank top and cropped jacket were in an elegant, professional silver-gray color. However, she deliberately kept her jacket more closed, feeling embarrassed by her smaller breasts compared to her two sisters. Even so, her body remained proportional and athletic, with subtly trained muscles. Her beautiful, shiny silver-gray hair was neatly tied into a simple bun at the back of her head, giving a mature, serious, and trustworthy impression. A sharp dagger with a finely engraved blade was hidden behind her jacket, easily accessible in a split second. She also double-checked her dicine pouch and spare runes hidden in her small backpack.

Alicia, the oldest and most eye-catching, chose a bold appearance. Her silver-white tank top and leggings contrasted perfectly with her long silver hair. She wore no covering jacket at all, proudly displaying her voluptuous figure especially her large, perfect breasts that were hard to hide with the thin tank top material. Every movent seed to invite gazes, but the faint mystical aura radiating from her made people think twice before approaching. Her silver hair was left loose, flowing like a waterfall of fine silk that shimred under the sunlight. In her hand, she carried a simple-looking wooden magic staff without luxurious ornants so as not to stand out, even though the power stored within it could flatten a group of enemies at once.

The three of them also carried complete supporting equipnt: small backpacks with three days of dry rations, pouches of herbal dicines and healing potions, strong rope that could hold up to a thousand kilograms, several small hidden protective artifacts, and spare maps and dinsional compasses. Their appearance was the perfect blend of experienced beautiful adventurers and deadly power hidden behind beauty.

After finishing their preparations, the three of them left the Silver Moon Inn with steady steps. As soon as the wooden door opened, the fresh midday air greeted them. The stone streets of Silvermist were already bustling. rchants shouted their wares, children ran around, and other adventurers walked with weapons at their waists. However, the mont the three sisters appeared, the atmosphere changed instantly.

Several n passing by suddenly stopped. Their eyes widened, mouths slightly open. Whispers began to spread from various directions:

"Who are those three? New adventurers?"

"Too beautiful... like fairies descending from the mountains."

"Don’t ss with them. Look at how they walk. They’re not ordinary people. Their aura is heavy."

No one dared to approach too closely. The cold aura and faint pressure radiating from Sylvia imdiately warned ordinary people’s instincts of danger. The three of them walked toward the Silvermist Hunters Guild, located just a few blocks from the city hall. The large three-story stone building stood solidly, with crossed swords and silver moon emblem gleaming above the main entrance. Since morning, the guild had been filled with dozens of adventurers. Loud conversations, rough laughter, and the clinking of weapons filled the air.

When Sylvia, Stacia, and Alicia stepped inside, the entire room seed to freeze for a mont. Their extraordinary beauty, even while disguised, imdiately drew all attention. So n with lustful gazes smiled slyly, but those smiles instantly vanished when Sylvia calmly pulled out three shiny gold-colored hunter cards from her jacket pocket. Rank A Cards. Proof that they had completed dozens of high-level missions and survived death many tis.

The atmosphere changed imdiately. Adventurers who had intended to approach slowly backed away. Their backs felt cold. Rank A was no joke in a border region like this.

Sylvia walked straight to the reception desk with calm, authoritative steps. The young female receptionist behind the desk imdiately stood up and smiled respectfully.

"Good morning, Rank A Hunters. How may I help you today?"

"We would like to register for the northern dinsional rift expedition," Sylvia answered in a flat, cold tone.

"Very well. The eting has already started in the main hall. Please follow ."

They were led through a wide stone corridor illuminated by stable wall lanterns. The main eting room was very spacious, with dozens of wooden chairs neatly arranged and a small stage at the front. Dozens of adventurers and mages were already seated, so whispering, so cleaning their weapons. Everyone turned their heads when the three sisters entered. So whispered in admiration, while others imdiately looked away upon feeling the strange, hard-to-explain pressure.

They chose seats in the back row so they could observe the entire room. Not long after, the main door opened with a heavy sound. The Guild Master, a middle-aged, burly man with a diagonal scar across his face and arms full of old tattoos entered with heavy steps. He began imdiately without pleasantries.

"The northern dinsional rift has been partially mapped by the advance team. The initial area is relatively safe for experienced teams, but the deeper you go, the more terrifying it becos. Thick purple mist can disturb vision, hearing, and even the sixth sense. Ancient runes on the walls can affect the mind, causing severe hallucinations up to suicidal urges. Shadow creatures that appear are nearly immune to ordinary physical weapons; you need enchanted weapons or high-level holy spells. Don’t be reckless. Many have died because of arrogance."

The Guild Master looked at all the participants with a sharp gaze. "Lord Harlan’s rewards will be distributed based on team contribution. Gold, ancient artifacts, rare weapons, priority rights to valuable items. Tomorrow morning at exactly 8 o’clock in front of the rift. Latecors will be considered withdrawn."

The explanation lasted nearly a full hour, with map details, recomnded formations, danger signals, and short horror stories from previous expeditions. After it ended, the adventurers began to leave while talking loudly.

Sylvia and her sisters also stood up. However, just as they were about to reach the door, three burly n blocked their path. A bald man with arms as thick as thighs and burn scars on his chest smiled vulgarly while staring at Alicia.

"Hey, beautiful girls. The three of you are too weak and... tempting to go in alone. Join our team. We’ll ’protect’ you... as long as you obey and serve us tonight."

Sylvia looked at them coldly. "Not interested. Move aside."

The bald man laughed roughly and reached out to touch Sylvia’s shoulder.

In the blink of an eye, the tip of Sylvia’s rapier was pressed precisely against his throat. Stacia’s dagger appeared at the second man’s throat. Alicia’s staff emitted a magical energy pressure that made the third man retreat in fear until he hit the wall.

Their movents were too fast. Too smooth. Too deadly.

Cold sweat poured down the three n’s faces. The aura of death from Sylvia made their knees tremble. The room fell completely silent. Everyone watched in silence.

Sylvia only stared at the bald man for two seconds that felt like an eternity. Then she elegantly withdrew her rapier and walked past them. Stacia and Alicia followed with faint smiles.

The three n collapsed to the floor, breathing heavily.

Outside the guild, Stacia smiled faintly. "How stupid they were."

Alicia shook her head. "My breasts are always a problem."

Sylvia answered calmly, "Tomorrow at 8 o’clock. Tonight we prepare everything perfectly: supplies, spare spells, identities, and contingency plans in case of betrayal inside the rift."

The three of them walked back to the inn under the scorching midday sun, their steps full of confidence. Behind them, whispers of admiration and fear spread among the adventurers who had witnessed the incident.
