A bright sun stood in the sky, surrounded by blue heavens, and beneath all this lay a large circular arena, around which were thousands of stands filled with people.

They looked at the arena with excitent, awaiting the upcoming battle, because Void was going to participate in it!

"Ha-ha! That Void has finally been caught! Unfortunately, I couldn’t be at the arena for the last three days. But when I heard that the rcenary Jagot from the Blood Hunters decided to challenge Void... I was so thrilled, I dropped everything and ran to the Arena of Blood!" one of the spectators said with excitent in his heart.

Other spectators looked at him, but instead of saying sothing bad, they enthusiastically supported him and added their own stories!

One of the n next to him nodded and said:

"Ha. Exactly. When I heard that the Blood Hunters challenged Void, I imdiately knew this would be the best show! These guys will do anything to raise their status, and humiliating a great and elusive assassin — isn’t that the best option?"

"Let them do what they want. I’m more interested in the fight itself, where Void will show his abilities and skills that even terrify Mages!"

"I’m interested in that too. After all, Jagot is one of the leaders of the Blood Hunters. Do you think he has the strength to defeat Void?"

The man shrugged and replied:

"I don’t know. I only heard that Jagot is pretty strong with his axe."

"In any case, we’ll now see the result in this battle."

...

With a violet katana in hand, Lin slowly walked out onto the arena. His bald head appeared before everyone in the arena. But along with it, on his face was a black cast-iron mask that covered half of his face, leaving only his two eyes visible.

The cast-iron mask was a mandatory requirent for prisoners to limit their savagery in the arena. After all, there were people capable of simply "biting through" their opponents without using any weapons.

Though Lin resorted to such things extrely rarely and disliked the taste of human flesh. But if necessary, if it ant his life, he would use his teeth to win and not die.

Of course, he would not eat the flesh itself.

When Lin, with a cold expression on his face, walked onto the arena, various voices of people who could not hide their emotions imdiately rang out!

"So this is Void? Isn’t he a little too handso?"

"Is he an aristocrat? Why does he look like those royal knights?"

"Why is he bald?! If he’s this handso with a bald head, then what would he look like with hair?"

"Hey, do you see his gaze... It’s too cold and feral. I’ve only seen eyes like that in my grandfather, who hunted sea creatures..."

"Do you see that weapon? It’s so high-quality it looks like it was made by so Mage... And its shape... That kind of weapon is only found in the Great Spiritual Forest... So is Void from there?"

"That’s unknown. No one knows where he’s from, or what his na is. But one thing is clear — he’s very strong."

All around the arena, discussions about Lin continued, until Jagot’s voice made everyone fall silent:

"Ha-ha-ha! So this is Void? Isn’t he a bit young?"

Lin looked at Jagot and showed no emotion on his face. He slowly pointed at him with his violet katana and said through the cast-iron mask:

"Attack."

Jagot fell silent and suddenly noticed a change in Lin’s aura!

Even though Lin’s face didn’t show anything, his aura radiated a murderous intent that was extrely strong and terrifying!

Jagot swallowed and thought:

"His aura... It’s filled with killing intent! And he controls it perfectly! Only those who’ve killed countless tis can do this, but instead of blind murder — he understood and studied each one!"

Jagot gripped his axe tighter and tried to hide his fear. He realized that Void’s power wasn’t made up by ordinary people. He truly was a master of killing!

"As you can see, today in the arena, Void will fight Jagot of the Blood Hunters!"

"The battle promises to be interesting, so watch closely and don’t miss a thing! And now, the battle begins!"

After the announcent of the battle’s start, Jagot ran toward Lin, feeling great fear!

"He fears ..." Lin looked at Jagot and quickly identified his fear, along with other details in the man’s body.

"Tall, quite muscular, weapon — a double-bladed axe. Also has armor covering his chest, shoulders, and other vital areas... With my katana, I should be able to cut through his armor without issue, unless it’s made from so magical materials," Lin looked at his wrists and recalled the handcuffs.

He sighed.

"They were too strong..."

"Don’t... Don’t get distracted!!" Jagot felt a mix of fear and anger at Lin’s actions!

Since the arena was several hundred ters in diater, Jagot had to run quite a while toward Lin. But when he finally reached him, he raised his axe above his head and swung it down with great speed!

Whoosh!

The air was pierced by a silver line from the axe that descended toward Lin’s head. But to everyone’s surprise in the arena, Lin, instead of blocking the attack — simply dodged to the side!

But Jagot wasn’t going to stop. He quickly turned the blade and aid it at Lin, attacking again!

"How boring..." Lin sighed and jumped up!

Whoosh!

The axe once again sliced through the air but missed Lin!

Jagot was confused and looked slightly upward, seeing Lin gently landing on his axe and raising his right leg, aiming it at him!

Bang!

With great speed and force, Lin kicked Jagot in the head, sending him flying to the side!

"Boring..." Lin spoke his second word in the arena and slowly walked toward Jagot, who was in absolute horror!

"P-please... Don’t kill ..."

Lin shook his head and pointed at Jagot with his katana, asking everyone in the arena:

"Do you want his death?"

Jagot saw a light at the end of the tunnel, he looked at all the people and burst into tears, begging for rcy:

"Please! Please! Forgive ! Spare !"

But the arena laughed.

All around the arena ca the loud, bright laughter of countless people who looked at Jagot.

"After everything, he really wants rcy? Ha-ha-ha! Let him perish, like so many of his victims!"

"Just die! I never liked the Blood Hunters!"

"Void! Kill him! This scum doesn’t deserve to live in this world!"

Most people in the arena wanted Jagot dead!

mbers of the Blood Hunters, seeing the crowd’s reaction, simply closed their eyes and slowly left the Arena of Blood, unwilling to witness their comrade’s death.

"No... Ha-ha... This can’t be..." Jagot saw everyone’s reaction and understood.

He was needed by no one.

Even his comrades had betrayed him.

"Ha-ha... Ha-ha-ha... Ha-ha-ha-ha! Bastards! Bastards! You’re all damn bastards! Kill ! Let only Sisyphus take !"

Jagot looked at Lin with a savage gaze and awaited his death.

"As you wish," Lin raised the katana and swung it!

Whoosh!

Jagot’s head separated from his neck and fell to the sand.

Lin had won.
