anwhile, Xing Shu was escorted into the study. Chen Gang was sitting on a chair with a beautiful female assistant kneeling beside him, massaging his thigh. It was a very extravagant scene.
There was a pile of docunts in front of Cheng Gang. He threw one of them at Xing Shu’s face. “I thought you were a smart girl, Xing Shu.”
Pain flashed across Xing Shu’s face as the file hit her in the face. She had always been adaptable to circumstances—if she challenged Cheng Gang head-on now, she would only suffer a quicker death. The file that Cheng Gang threw over was the agreent she had signed with Chen Ru back then to extend the term of Radiant Welfare Ho’s land by five years. A piece of land was worth hundreds of millions, not to ntion that she also had five years of land use rights. Hence, Xing Shu did not ntion that her salary in Cheng Corporation Group was low because she had included the value of the land in her salary.
Xing Shu picked up the file and looked at Cheng Gang. “I don’t understand what you an, Director Cheng.”
Cheng Gang eyes filled with venom. “Void this agreent with Chen Ru imdiately. Also, explain why you’re going to be the Director. I don’t like to waste my ti on nonsense. Xing Shu, know this: killing you is no different from killing an ant.” There was a clause in the agreent that was not in their favor—if Chen Ru unilaterally breached the agreent, she would have to compensate Radiant Welfare Ho 200 million yuan. A company would not be able to fork out 200 million yuan in cash, let alone Chen Ru.
Now that Cheng Gang had his eyes on this piece of land, he wanted Xing Shu to void the agreent.
“Director Cheng, the agreent is very clear. I only received a salary of 50,000 yuan in Cheng Corporation Group all these years and I worked my a*s off for Cheng Xingyang on so many M&A deals. Both parties’ contributions and gains are fair.” Xing Shu’s competence propelled Cheng Xingyang into Old Master Cheng’s good books and made him stand out from among the younger generation—this was not sothing that could be bought with just land use rights.
“You stubborn wretch. Guards!” The door of the study was pushed open and a few tall bodyguards walked in. Two of them opened Xing Shu’s mouth and stuffed a pill into her mouth. The other two n deftly unbuckled their belts. Xing Shuxin trembled and bit down on the pill. But they swiftly dislocated her chin, and she almost fainted from the excruciating pain.
“What do you want?” Terror filled Xing Shu’s eyes as she tried to take a step back, but was held down firmly by the bodyguards.
Cheng Gang pushed the female assistant away and walked over. “I heard that you did not bed Cheng Xingyang all these years. You know my thods. If you don’t want to be gang-raped, you’d better void that agreent. Also, return the position of Director to Cheng Xingyang. Xing Shu, stay put in your place as a manager. You’re destined to work in the shadows for Cheng Xingyang ever since I learned of your competence. You’ll never see the light of day for the rest of your life.” He sneered coldly and patted Xing Shu’s face. “Or let make it clearer: be Cheng Xingyang’s stepping stone and aid in his career advancent. Otherwise, I won’t let you or any of the children in that welfare ho off. Xing Shu, you’re a smart person; you know what to do.”
Xing Shu’s face turned pale as terror seized her. She did not know what drug they had forced down her throat. She felt very weak, and a stirring in her loins. The Cheng family was not simple, especially those on the Board of Directors—all of them had ulterior motives and were ruthless.
“Cheng Xingyang said that you want to annul the engagent with him? Who do you think you are?” Cheng Gang stepped viciously on Xing Shu’s hand.
Xing Shu broke out in sweat and could not help but cry out in pain. Her eyes reddened from the combination of resentnt and the effects of the drug. Cheng Gang’s pressure beca stronger, and Xing Shu felt the bones of her fingers about to shatter.
Cheng Gang looked at Xing Shu. “You were able to trick Chen Ru into signing this contract because you preyed on her love for Cheng Xingyang. However, your little tricks don’t work on . Your fate is in my hands.”
Xing Shu bit her lips until they were bloodied. She was in so much pain that she almost fainted. Cheng Gang was a master at this—alternating the pressure expertly—just as Xing Shu was about to faint from the pain, he retracted his foot.
Xing Shu panted heavily, and she could not see straight. Cheng Gang’s cold voice rang. “I’ll let you live for the ti being. When they’ve had their fill of you, you’ll go back to being Cheng Xingyang’s stepping stone.” The next sound she heard was of a belt hitting the ground.
