Chapter 1904: Chapter 1931: Shoes Are the Most Beautiful Containers in the World

Da Jianbi heightened all his senses to their utmost.

After just a few exchanges, he understood that relying on his eyes, he couldn’t see Ah Yin’s movents. He could only calculate the distance and make a move by rembering the rhythm in his heart.

“Can’t see, I completely can’t see. Just before she disappeared, her toes were pointing forward. I’m betting on a frontal attack.”

“One, two, three, this is the rhythm!”

Da Jianbi swung his hands forward, silver light flashed, but he hit nothing.

At the sa ti, a cracking sound ca from his left shoulder. Ah Yin appeared behind him, her fist viciously striking his shoulder, forcing him to kneel down from the impact.

“Boasting, are we?”

“No matter what Law you use, if you can’t keep up with my movents, it’s all in vain.”

With a trail of silver light, Ah Yin flickered a few tis in front of Da Jianbi, then retreated back over ten zhang away.

She flaunted her speed, and everyone could see through her Law of Power. Everyone knew how to respond, but even knowing the thod and principle, they couldn’t defend against it because they weren’t as fast as she was. No matter how many counterasures there were, they were useless.

“I’ll emphasize again, speed is useless. My Law transcends your speed!”

“I predict you’ll attack from behind again next ti.”

“Next ti, I’ll cut off your hand!”

Da Jianbi forcefully slapped his left shoulder, aligning his shattered bones back into place, and spoke indifferently.

He saw that this pink-haired girl had no small habits or quirks, regardless of the attack direction, her stance remained the sa.

This ant Ah Yin had also experienced many battles, forcibly correcting any bad habits that might expose her weaknesses.

“I’ll attack from your rear?”

“Can you foresee the future, you guy?”

“I insist on a frontal attack. What can you do about it?”

Ah Yin sneered dismissively, the silver light flickered and she vanished from the spot again.

In the world of extre speed, she indeed charged straight ahead, but just at the mont of contact, she shifted her steps lightly, diverting to circle behind Da Jianbi.

“You think that since you predicted I’d attack from behind, I’d do the opposite.”

“But I won’t, I’ll still attack from behind. If you have the nerve, try cutting off my hands!”

Ah Yin’s hand reached out, this ti, she aid to crush this man’s clavicle.

“Swish!”

As her fingers touched the skin, a skyward silver light pierced through. An iron fan shot up skyward, neatly severing her wrist without any hesitation, and blood sprayed.

In the mont of Ah Yin’s bewildernt, Da Jianbi turned around and kicked her, sending her flying away.

“How about that?”

Da Jianbi’s expression was calm, his face full of inscrutable mystery. If facing his previous opponents, he would have unhesitatingly declared a fictional Law ability to make them believe his lie.

But confronting Ah Yin, he felt the timing wasn’t ripe. The opportunity for a lie to beco truth only cos once. He needed to speak the lie when her willpower was at its weakest.

“Were you guessing?”

“I don’t believe you can predict my moves!”

“No way, even if you did predict, you shouldn’t be able to keep up with it. How did you do it!”

Ah Yin stared blankly at her severed hand, beginning to scrutinize the man before her.

Just foresight couldn’t achieve this. He confird that this man couldn’t see her at high speeds, and even if he predicted and wanted to block, he should have been caught first.

“Exactly, which is why I said, in the world of my Law, extre speed is useless. To cut you down, speed isn’t necessary!”

“This ti, you’ll co from the front, and I’ll sever your arm in confrontation.”

Da Jianbi’s heart was frazzled, yet his face showed no emotion. He couldn’t let his flaw be seen.

That move just now was a guess, like rock-paper-scissors, telling the opponent ahead of ti what he would do, to achieve psychological warfare.

“Soon the truth will be revealed. The probing is over. Now is the world of extre speed, I aim to beat you until you can’t speak f

Ah Yin disappeared again.

Without even needing a blink, in front of Da Jianbi a sudden flash of blood streaked by, an arm was flung high.

But it didn’t end there. The next second, a force ca from behind, sending him flying away.

Silver light scattered across the land, Ah Yin didn’t cease her steps. Even with both hands severed, she continued to move at high speed.

And Da Jianbi’s inner rhythm remained consistent. He couldn’t grasp her attack route, only gamble on luck, front or back.

If lucky, he’d cut off Ah Yin’s hands. If not, he’d have his bones shattered.

On the field, only Da Jianbi stood still, unable to see Ah Yin’s figure throughout. Occasionally, one or two pink arms would be severed and flung up, but

The battle was intense, yet the overall trend heavily favored Da Jianbi’s disadvantage, as the Divine Child could regenerate severed limbs, while his injuries remained unhealed. With this ebb and flow, most of his skeletal structure was fractured.

This grueling combat lasted a full ten minutes.

Da Jianbi kneeled on one knee, unable to stand.

Ah Yin, pale-faced, appeared over ten zhang away. Even as a Divine Child, the continual regeneration of her body drained her spirit imnsely.

Through ten minutes of combat, she appeared unhard on the surface, but in reality, was significantly worn out.

Fortunately, her opponent was even more injured, Da Jianbi was almost completely taken down, unable even to stand.

The outco would soon be decided.

“Not enough yet, haven’t instilled any fear in her towards .”

Da Jianbi was panting heavily, his eyes fixed on Ah Yin.

He was undoubtedly dood today. Without even taking down Ah Yin, his body was already in such a miserable state. If that white-haired boy nad Feng made a move, he’d be finished imdiately.

“So embarrassing, co to think of it, how could a deceptive Law be capable of confronting enemies directly?”

“But it seems that I took the wrong path from the start. From the first day I entered the Cultivation World, I have always avoided direct confrontation. Ending up like this today, I have only myself to bla. In hindsight, I should have refused [White]’s arrangent and not entered the battlefield.”

“Damn it, why did I co here!”

Da Jianbi felt a tragic sorrow in his heart. He could inflict harm on Ah Yin, but that was all, without a decisive lie, there was no power to slay the opponent.

Recalling the scene of entering the battlefield, be it the first battlefield or the Battlefield of the Gods, he did it all to unravel the secrets in his heart.

He was born on a naless star. His parents crafted shoes, making beautiful shoes of all kinds. Wealthy families in town would co to buy them, and the family was relatively affluent.

He also had a younger brother. That was truly the happiest ti. When he made mistakes, he could tell the truth. Although telling the truth led to punishnt, he was also praised for being an honest good child.

Although his character was not upright from a young age, a stark contrast to his studious, title-seeking brother, he would always truthfully confess whatever mischief he made outside.

He would sweep the leg and make centenarians kiss the ground, cut off won’s hair while they slept to use as fishing lines, place pigeon eggs in chicken coops and chicken eggs in pigeon coops, making pigeons and chickens fight a battle. It was common for him to walk away without paying for street stall food when he thought the taste did not match the price.

No matter what happened, he would tell the truth, a lesson from his mother since childhood.

As a result, whatever he said, people believed him. He always took pride in this, believing it was people’s greatest respect towards him.

Until one day, a man took a liking to his shoes and asked where his family lived.

It was he who brought the man into the house, but he saw with his own eyes the man forcing his family to eat from bowls made of shoes.

The man killed his father and mother, dissected their bodies, and stuffed them into a stinky shoe, asking if he wanted to continue living.

He cried until he was a ss, but he nodded, because he wouldn’t lie.

The man instructed him to eat all the innards stuffed in the shoe. This way, he could live another day.

He ate.

The next day, the man gathered the entire village.

He brought his younger brother before him and handed him a knife.

All he had to do was to kill his brother and dissect the body like the man did the first day, and the entire village could live for another day.

He doesn’t rember what he did that day, only that the whole village knelt and begged him.

The third day.

In front of him lay a shoe filled with innards, and he knew whose they were.

He wanted to gulp them down like the first day, but the man forbade it, giving him a knife and fork to savor each bite carefully.

Because, according to the man, shoes were the most beautiful containers in the world.

Such humiliation, pain, and regret, he endured for three whole days.

The seventh day.

The man asked again if he wanted to continue living.

He nodded again.

The man instructed him to run south, never stop, just keep running, and as long as he kept running, he would live.

He believed it, because the man hadn’t lied. To this day, other villagers were still alive.

So ran until they died, and he dragged their bodies, dissecting them as he ran to fill his stomach.

He dared not stop, because the man said as long as he was running, he would survive.

Out of over a hundred villagers, he consud over thirty before finally escaping to he knew not where. He only knew he entered a tunnel, a world of total darkness, filled with a starry sky.

The planet behind him shattered, and near the crumbling planet, two figures were entangled in battle.

From that day on, he vowed never to speak the truth again. Ultimately, had he told a lie when the man asked him where his family lived, perhaps none of it would have happened.

He now lived by lies, until he could find that man and destroy him.

“Suddenly rembering these things, is it life flashing before my eyes?”

“But now thinking about it, many things are blurred in mory, I can’t even rember the faces of my parents and brother. Yu Huan Shui ntioned in his book that it’s a form of self-protection of mory.”

“Yet even so, I clearly rember those two figures who shattered a star, one of them was a female cultivator with pink hair…”

“Pink hair?”

“How co this too…”

Da Jianbi seed as if suddenly waking from a dream, looking up sharply at Ah Yin.

This girl also had pink hair!

Da Jianbi asked in a trembling voice, “I ask you, did you ever practice in the Universe starry sky and fought with a man, blowing up a star?”

Ah Yin spread her hands, utilizing this rare calm to recover from her injuries. “I’ve blown up many. Which one are you referring to?”

“Black clothes, also a shoe, the man wore only one shoe!”

“Oh, you’re talking about him, yes, I rember. He was sent by my master to take back, and I didn’t want to, so we fought. That dirty guy kept saying that shoes were the most beautiful containers in the world, it was disgusting.”

“But how do you know about it?”
