Chapter 1868: Chapter 1895: Zhang San’s Card Ga

The woman stood atop, confident of victory.

Two imposing figures appeared before the hall entrance, one wielding an axe with the left hand, the other with the right hand, both clad in bronze armor, standing a head taller than the one wielding a giant sword.

Clearly, they were formidable opponents.

Through the face masks of these three figures, wisps of light red mist swirled around their eyes, ears, mouth, and nose.

This was the aura of the Law of Chaos.

“Weren’t there supposed to be four heavenly kings, how co there are only three?”

Li Xiaobai bandaged his left shoulder, with a fair amount of color returning to his face.

“Three are enough.”

“With one arm missing, how do you plan to resist these warriors from the Bronze Hall? They are not opponents who can be defeated by cheap tricks. Even on the battlefield, they went berserk for nearly half an hour before succumbing to death.”

The woman said with a gentle smile, and there was still one corpse far away, yet to catch up.

These three n were berserkers in life, and as puppets in death, they know no exhaustion, have no fear of death. As long as her Law was in effect, these three were endless fighting machines.

“Roar!”

A bronze cultivator raised his axe, striking down fiercely at Li Xiaobai.

The space surrounding the axe blade beca bizarrely distorted, small in range and subtle, yet the attraction and distortion emanating from it were distinctly real.

This corpse actually had innate Law effects; contact with that axe ant death.

Li Xiaobai summoned Hellfire, instantly covering his body in black flas, shooting out a fiery chain and pulling his body aside, dodging the bronze cultivator’s deadly strike.

“Roar!”

The other two bronze-clad warriors charged at Li Xiaobai from left and right.

The Hellfire that burns anything was absorbed by the distorted space around the axe blade, vanishing from sight. No matter how much fire erged, the bronze cultivator absorbed it all with a few swings of the axe.

This sensation was akin to being in the Netherworld’s alternate space. The Hellfire on the altar was only a small part, the true origin absorbed into a miniature world.

The twisted space around that axe seed to contain endless small spaces, and before they were filled, Hellfire could not touch him at all.

“Your moves are too chaotic, whether it’s that mystical fla, or your robust flesh, when confronting the Space Law on this axe, there is only one outco: death.”

“Is it truly difficult? You can flee, I won’t stop you.”

The woman covered her face, chuckling coquettishly.

“If it were any other ti, I’d be running by now, but you took one of my arms, so I’ll have to take your head.”

Li Xiaobai’s face remained expressionless. The woman’s power wasn’t very strong, he had a chance, as long as he could create a brief opening.

“Wait, boss.”

“Let do it.”

Zhang San crawled out from the crowd, clinging to Li Xiaobai’s thigh.

Li Xiaobai squinted: “Are you sure?”

Zhang San stood up, snapped his fingers: “Boss, you are indeed lucky, only I followed you here, and the stringent conditions for the plot’s progression were t. You’re a person of great fortune.”

“Four people, only three arrived, in line with the plot.”

“Three missing one, let’s start a card ga.”

Zhang San pulled out a big square table from sowhere, with four chairs neatly arranged and a stack of cards laid on the table.

He casually pulled a chair and sat down, and at that mont, the three bronze corpses ceased their actions, approached Zhang San’s card ga, threw down their weapons, sat down one by one, and nimbly started pushing cards on the table.

“What’s it going to be, dice or Pai Gow?”

“Since I’m the one who’s initiated the card ga, and only I can speak normally, I’ll explain the rules: a showdown ga, one hand to determine the victor, the loser leaves their soul behind.”

Zhang San, shedding his usual sleazy deanor, had a penetrating aura seated at the card table.

The three bronze cultivators went along with the plot and were forcibly led into playing cards.

This outco was surprising; even the woman was stunned, as was Li Xiaobai. Zhang San’s plot was a card ga, only unfolding when three lack one, an indeed stringent condition that was satisfied — it was definitely not re luck.

Perhaps Jiang Que had conducted prior investigations, roughly predicting the situations he would encounter, hence sending the most potentially useful character along.

No wonder he was the one who managed to escape the Law of Order — such cunning was beyond an ordinary person’s reach.

Li Xiaobai turned to the woman, surrounded by black flas raging: “Your turn.”

“Impossible, what’s with this ludicrous card table?”

“Why can it restrain my three generals, what kind of Law is this?”

The woman’s eyes radiated shock. She had never considered Zhang San worthy of her attention, but this man, despite his sleazy appearance, had astoundingly baffling thods.

She utilized the Law of Chaos to manipulate corpses, yet another forceful Law of Power brusquely took them away. Her connection to the corpses wasn’t severed; she could clearly sense these three corpses still under her control.

However, no matter what command she issued, these corpses engaged in another activity she couldn’t comprehend — playing cards!

“Seems like your Law is self-realized, not the Law of Neutrality. Encountering , your luck is rather unfortunate.”

Li Xiaobai crushed the Smooth Travel Talisman, teleporting behind the woman, enveloped entirely in Hellfire, striking her crown.

“When I say I’ll cut your head off, I’ll make sure your head cos off.”

The woman scread, her body turned into a stream of light, quickly darting out of the hall.

“Boss, leave this to .”

Zhang San waved his cards, speaking to Li Xiaobai.

Li Xiaobai nodded, the next second, a flash of gold, vaporized from the hall.

He teleported consecutively several tis, tracking the woman beyond the city gate.

His finger held onto a thin, long line of black fla. Hellfire, under his control, morphed into threads coiling around the woman, following this fiery line; she couldn’t escape.

Step by step, a rich scent of blood wafted from ahead.

On the other end of the fire thread, indeed a swarm of dark shadows approached, all corpses manipulated by the Law of Chaos.

The woman was surrounded by this tide of corpses, with blood streaming down her forehead, her head wrapped in cloth, the line of Hellfire shifted to a corpse.

Her crown was scorched by Hellfire, unable to extinguish, only by skinning her scalp could she preserve her life.

“I knew you’d co, on the battlefield I’m invincible. No matter how peculiar your flas are, can they withstand tens of thousands of troops? Many among them possess the Space Law, your flas are ineffective in this army formation!”

The woman’s lips trembled, shivering; half with rage, half with pain.

For years, it was her first ti suffering such humiliation. The injury wasn’t severe, but it forced her to shave off her scalp herself, leaving a bald spot in the center of her head — turned into a half-balded man alive.

“Eliminate him!”

With the command, the tide of corpses surged forward to engulf Li Xiaobai, aiming to subrge him with sheer numbers.

“You’re comparing numbers, huh?”

“Once I understand your Laws, there’s nothing to dread.”

“re tens of thousands of corpses, how can they compare to my endless Great Resentnt Species?”

Li Xiaobai raised his arm in a call, a mass of corpses fell like raindrops from the sky, with overpowering aura, terrifying beyond asure.

The Great Resentnt Species were strengthened by the Lake of Resentful Spirits, possessing the combat consciousness from their previous lives with even greater strength — incomparable to re manipulated corpses.

“From now on, this place shall be called Pure Land of Extre Evil!”
