Chapter 1644: Chapter 1646: Senior Brother and Senior Sister in mories

“Ying” slaughtered nearly half of the Ying Ghost Sect disciples, using the Star Absorbing Technique to draw the cultivation level from their bodies. Corpses were scattered across the land, bones stood eerily; everything happened too suddenly, almost in the blink of an eye.

One mont, she was crying bitterly on the young master’s bed, and the next, not only was the young master dead at her hands, but many external disciples were also dead or injured, the situation extrely grim.

Who could have expected the poor thing, long treated as a re tool, was actually a wolf in disguise? By the ti those in the sect’s upper echelons discovered the truth, it was already too late.

The elders of various branches of the Ying Ghost Sect took action one after another. “Ying”‘s actions brought sha upon them, marking the worst incident in decades. Their sect’s young master was killed, and countless disciples perished, all because of soone they had dismissed as insignificant.

“Just a re tool furnace, die!”

In this battle, “Ying” escaped with serious injuries, disappearing without a trace. Tianxuan Holy Land, due to the incident with the tool furnace, beca a target of the Ying Ghost Sect’s resentnt—believing them to be ddling, using the tool to claim the life of their young master, and consequently, the lives of many sect disciples.

Li Xiaobai watched everything unfold as a bystander, barely having ti to digest the implications when the scene shifted again, stars moved, and ti flew.

In the blink of an eye, who knows how many years passed. “Ying” had grown into an adult, her aura cold, eyes sharp as knives.

On this day, outside Tianxuan Holy Land, a woman clad in a conical hat and woven coat walked slowly. Disciples stopped her, but before they got close, they turned into piles of bones; their bodies shriveled in the blink of an eye, life force thoroughly extracted.

The woman randomly slaughtered sect disciples without moving a finger. Anyone who approached automatically had their life force taken, their qi flowing into her.

The holy land’s strongn were alard and prepared for battle.

“We don’t know which master has graced us with their presence. We apologize for not greeting you from afar, and we hope for your understanding!”

A group of elders ca together, facing their greatest foe with full vigilance. The woman felt exceedingly dangerous to them, like a giant dragon in hiding.

The woman took off her conical hat and casually threw it. A flash streaked through, the hat sliding through one elder’s neck. The head swayed twice before rolling to the ground, the soul completely annihilated.

All were shocked, silence reigned. What kind of technique was this? A casually thrown hat could kill one of their elder-level figures. But what truly stunned them was the woman’s face; it was unmistakably the little girl who once cultivated at Tianxuan Holy Land, “Ying”!

“It’s you!”

“You actually have the nerve to return. Do you know how much you’ve cost Tianxuan Holy Land!”

“When that old man brought you back, we were strongly opposed, already aware that sothing would be wrong with you sooner or later. Yet today, you’ve gone insane and attacked your own gracious sect. You’re a thankless, ungrateful wretch; has a dog eaten your conscience!”

The elders’ eyes were filled with shock and anger, but mostly fear and guilt.

Years had passed, and Tianxuan Holy Land had experienced many changes. The elders of the past had all passed away, and the younger ones had grown up to beco the holy land’s pillars. These elders were once the ones who mocked and humiliated the little girl.

It was on their advice that “Ying” was sent to the Ying Ghost Sect to serve as a tool furnace, but despite all their calculations, they hadn’t expected she would turn the tables on their young master and escape alive.

The woman’s face was emotionless, her lips slightly parted as she inhaled. A fierce gale arose within Tianxuan Holy Land. At this mont, all cultivators present felt their power uncontrollably flooding out, pouring toward the woman’s location. Even the many elders, and more distantly, sect disciples—those hidden in the deep mountains and forests at the level of the Supre Elder—could not escape.

Their own longevity, essence, blood qi, and cultivation level surged out in waves, uncontrollable no matter how they operated their techniques. The elders were terrified, wanting to flee, but just turning around, their bodies deflated like punctured balloons, finally turning into skeletons that shattered on the ground.

The woman picked up her conical hat, put it on, and turned to leave. Tianxuan Holy Land fell into a deathly silence, until the news of its annihilation gradually spread days later.

Li Xiaobai patiently followed; this woman was no simple character, possessing great perseverance and a resolute character. He was more curious now about how she knew his senior brothers and sisters, and what exactly happened.

The scene shifted again, details and trivialities blurred, like the Ying Ghost Sect’s destruction, which was but a mont’s work. When “Ying” appeared again, her power and cultivation were absurdly high. Li Xiaobai sensed a hint of inconsistency; judging from the generational transition at Tianxuan Holy Land, not much ti had passed, likely just a century or two. In such a short ti, that “Ying” woman could annihilate what was once the world’s foremost holy land; it seed sothing extraordinary must have happened during the interim.

The “Ying” woman had committed many massacres, prompting many Righteous Sects led by the Buddhist Sect to suppress her. The Buddha, deep in thought, secretly urged major sects to pursue “Ying”, while privately making a pact—she could receive a cultivation technique for every sect she wiped out, with plentiful resources to boost her strength and cultivation level.

“Ying” agreed without question, uninterested in the Buddha’s scheming. From that day onward, complaints echoed throughout half of the Immortal Gods Realm. “Ying” did everything possible to obliterate a sect and obtain resource rewards. If frontal assault failed, she resorted to stealth hunts, killing any sect disciple who appeared, targeting the isolated ones.

For a ti, all in the Immortal Gods Realm lived in fear, casualties mounting. Both righteous and evil masters condemned her with words, seeking to bring the demon head to justice. This situation felt much like what Li Xiaobai knew—the Buddha secretly instigating conflict among cultivators to amass demons.

Yet, the ntion of demons had not erged, likely still unford negative emotions. “Ying” didn’t know the true purpose, only recognizing the vast benefits she gained.

Such a situation lingered for over a decade before finally breaking. On one day, a fiery woman wielding a giant hamr led several young n and won to this land, coincidentally encountering the sect-slaughtering “Ying”. Though the hamr-wielder rely glanced around, intent on continuing her journey without pause.

But “Ying” left no survivors for many years, anyone who saw her had to die. She instantly moved to drain the young n’s and won’s cultivation essence.

Yet, what she absorbed was not cultivation, but a delicate hand and a hamr.

A terrifying force descended; she had not even ti to react before being hamred into the ground, her body nearly splitting apart.

For the first ti in years, “Ying’s” emotionless visage showed astonishnt and panic, even anger and dread. She shrieked questions at the hamr-wielding woman, but despite her lips moving and words forming, no sound erged.

Li Xiaobai spiritedly scrutinized those young n and won’s expressions and appearances; they were certainly his six senior brothers and sisters. Yet judging by the ti, they had just entered the Immortal Gods Realm; how did they wield such monuntal power?

Moreover, what did “Ying” discover?

Why were the words in this mory muted, who tampered with “Ying’s” mory?
