Chapter 1033: Chapter 1034: Kill ? You Better Hurry

“Little friend, you are not aware of the Dragon Race’s Bloodline Power?”

Uncle Huo seed sowhat surprised by this, reasoning that soone of such high caliber should be well-versed in the matters of Bloodline Power.

It appeared that he was a prodigy who had only recently erged from his sect to explore the world, hence his unfamiliarity with the various sects.

Such geniuses are often the ones to watch out for the most, because there is no data on them within the Cultivation World; one cannot fathom their full strength.

He was thankful that his decision to treat the guest with respect, converse cautiously, and adhere to principles of non-offense had been the right one, as it might elicit goodwill from the other party.

“Actually, the Dragon Race’s Bloodline Power is a classification based on the intensity of one’s bloodline among the cultivators of the Dragon race.”

...

“Different concentrations of Bloodline Power display different colors, ranging from red, orange, yellow, green, blue, to purple; red being the lowest level. A cultivator with red-level Dragon Bloodline cannot even manifest a True Dragon Body—they are rely human cultivators with dragon’s blood flowing in their veins.”

“Purple is the highest level. The current Island Master of Ice Dragon Island possesses Purple Bloodline Power. Historically, any Dragon Bloodline reaching purple has been prominent figures standing at the pinnacles of the Central Origin Realm. Given they do not et early deaths, they are destined to reach Saint Realm.”

Uncle Huo explained cheerfully.

This informational question was not a secret, and being able to provide an answer could significantly raise a mysterious prodigy’s impression of him.

“So it is. I wonder which prodigies will be participating in the Ice Dragon Island tournant?”

Li Xiaobai asked.

“Well, all esteed prodigies will surely attend. This ti Ice Dragon Island has sent out a hero’s invitation, calling upon distinguished individuals from all over to witness the birth of a grand event.”

“Nobody would dare to refuse such an invitation. Just the families listed in the Immortal Realm’s Three Realms ranking probably number close to a hundred, not to ntion other miscellaneous sect forces.”

“Just look at this ship, over half are young talents or wealthy young masters, all attracted by the fa of Ice Dragon Island, wishing to catch a glimpse of the Immortal.”

Uncle Huo pointed at the many young n and won on the deck and spoke with a light smile.

“Will all cultivators listed on the rankings be participating?”

Li Xiaobai asked.

“If nothing out of the ordinary occurs, indeed they will. However, there are always exceptions. So talents may not wish to get involved in these complicated matters, especially since this event at Ice Dragon Island has drawn prodigies from nearly every continent. With such a mix, the waters run very deep and it might be difficult to manage,”

Uncle Huo remarked.

“I gather that you are a cultivator from the Eastern Continent?”

“The Eastern Continent has sowhat declined, with most disciples with any potential heading to the Southern Continent to develop. If it weren’t for the Huo Family’s investnts here, we likely wouldn’t bother with this place. I doubt there are many from the Eastern Continent attending the Ice Dragon Island event.”

Uncle Huo pondered for a mont before explaining.

The Eastern Continent really lacked any substantial foundations; not a single sect there had a Saint Realm expert in residence, and overall sect strength was generally weaker. Thus, if a genius erged within a family, the family elders would pull strings to have their disciples join either a Great Sect or even a Super Sect for cultivation.

“The Eastern Continent is not lacking; my Sword Sect has already absorbed the Blade Sect, becoming the number one sect. Before long, it will rise strongly. The Huo Family in the Eastern Continent could indeed forge closer ties with the Sword Sect.”

Li Xiaobai spoke indifferently.

These people were either constantly traveling at sea or hadn’t visited the Eastern Continent in a long while, unaware of the recent upheavals within the Sword Sect. However, this was beneficial too—keeping a low profile and focusing on developnt was the true path to power.

Once the Sword Sect was fully established, it would surely astonish everyone.

“Ah, a high disciple of the Sword Sect; my apologies for my earlier ignorance.”

“I haven’t asked for your esteed na yet, young master. Seeing as you are traveling alone, it must be quite lonely. Since we are all headed to Ice Dragon Island, why not travel together?”

Uncle Huo cheerfully suggested, having heard of the Sword Sect’s na. In the Eastern Continent, only the Sword and the Blade Sects were sowhat powerful, but he hadn’t expected that the current Sword Sect had already absorbed the Blade Sect, ensuring that from now on, the Eastern Continent would be dominated by the Sword Sect.

Yet, he was also quite puzzled. Although the Sword Sect could be sowhat considered a Great Sect, both its foundation and sect strength didn’t seem that impressive. How then had they nurtured such a prodigy as the one before him?

“I am Li Xiaobai, Peak Master of the Second Peak of the Sword Sect. Since Uncle Huo insists, I shall impose myself.”

Li Xiaobai said with a smile and then refilled Uncle Huo’s cup of tea.

“Hmm, Li Xiaobai, nice na…”

“Wait, Li Xiaobai?”

“Which Li Xiaobai?”

Uncle Huo looked as if he had been struck by lightning, his hand holding the teacup suspended in mid-air, trembling slightly.

He had indeed heard this na quite often recently; it seed to be the sa na as the young talent who carried a hefty bounty from the Thunderclap Temple in the Buddha Nation of the Western Continent!

“It’s the one you are thinking of,”

Li Xiaobai said.

“The one who caused havoc in the Pure Land of the Buddha Nation and was wanted by Master Wuyuzi?”

Uncle Huo felt his mouth go dry. Was he actually conversing pleasantly and even extending an invitation to such a ruthless person?

This one was a trouble magnet! If they traveled together, wouldn’t they be targeted and possibly killed by countless powerful beings along the way?

Li Xiaobai waved his hand dismissively, “Just minor troubles, nothing big.”

Uncle Huo was speechless.

The young ones behind him also changed their expressions. They were surely familiar with this na—reportedly the only talent who had caused chaos in the Buddha Nation and escaped unscathed; an enigma with inscrutable power. It was astonishing that he turned out to be a disciple of the Sword Sect!

“Young Master Li… you just walk out like this, aren’t you afraid of being attacked?”

Huo’s daughter widened her eyes, her words slightly unsteady.

“Currently, the Buddha Nation can hardly protect itself, and various forces are watching them like wolves. Those bald donkeys wouldn’t dare to act rashly.”

“There’s nothing to fear, as long as we understand the grievances and entanglents between these major powers, we can roam the world without concern.”

Li Xiaobai spoke nonchalantly. The news had spread far and wide—the Buddha Nation now lay under close scrutiny, powerless to do anything.

“No, no, no, my sister ant to say you are under a massive bounty, and there are probably many who want your life. If I am not mistaken, that slight killing intent emanating from the corner of the deck seems to be aid at you.”

Huo Yuhao said, staring in one direction; frankly, he had been watching that spot for a long ti.

At that mont, from the dark corner of the bow, a figure stood up and walked slowly towards them. The figure was a man in a black robe, wrapped tightly, his face obscured. He pulled over a chair and sat next to Li Xiaobai.

“Waiter, bring a pot of good tea.”

The man in the black robe spoke in a low voice, seeming rely like a tea-drinking guest. However, the thick sll of blood and aura of lethality from him would send shivers down anyone’s spine.

“Can’t be that accurate, can it? Talk about an assassin, and here one is?”

Huo Yuhao exclaid under his breath.

“Who are you, and what business do you have intruding into the Huo family’s affair?”

Uncle Huo asked coldly, feeling relieved inside as he sensed that the cultivation level of the man in the black robe wasn’t very strong.

“I am here to kill him. Unrelated people can step aside now; I need to take his head back to the Western Continent before the boat departs.”

The man in the black robe spoke casually, as if making small talk, and the atmosphere suddenly tensed up. Uncle Huo fell silent, and the younger ones dared not speak anymore.

Li Xiaobai, however, seed unbothered and casually poured a cup of tea, pushing it towards the man in the black robe, “Well, then you’d better hurry. The old goat captain ntioned just now that we’ll be departing as soon as a few more passengers board.”
