Lin Nan didn't have a big stomach. After all, his living expenses had always been limited, so he usually scrimp and saved when it ca to food.

After entering October, the temperature was still as hot as sumr. Lin Nan had thought he would be the only one working this flyer distribution job again, but when he arrived at the supermarket and t the supervisor, he discovered there was already a short girl who had put on the mascot costu and was listening to the supervisor explain so precautions.
"You promised to co during National Day," the supervisor, a middle-aged man, complained unhappily when he saw Lin Nan. "You made us have no one to distribute flyers during our National Day event."
"You could have just had any employee stand at the door and hand them out," Lin Nan said. He'd t this middle-aged man several tis and had beco fairly familiar with him.
This supervisor was called Liu Yi, probably around thirty years old, in his pri. He wore a suit that looked like an insurance salesman's, stood straight, and seed to have been a soldier before.
Although Liu Yi was over thirty, his square face didn't look old at all. Combined with his military bearing, people unconsciously felt extra trust and security around him, which made Lin Nan unconsciously feel closer to him.
"That definitely wouldn't have the sa effect as you wearing this outfit," Liu Yi didn't mind much and pointed to the girl beside him. "Your colleague. She says if she can handle it today, she'll co every weekend from now on. As a man, take good care of her."
Hearing the four words "as a man," Lin Nan imdiately felt satisfied and nodded without hesitation.
"Wait." However, the girl disagreed, looking at Lin Nan's face and asking incredulously, "A man?"

This short girl was quite pretty, without makeup, and would be at least average level walking down the street. However, her thin face with high cheekbones made her look sowhat harsh. Seeing her expression, Lin Nan imdiately felt his protective instincts surge. He straightened his back and walked forward with the deanor of a big man.
