The entertainnt activities at Grandfather's house were really a bit lacking for Lin Nan.
After all, even the Wi-Fi was intermittent. Although there was 4G, Lin Nan barely had any data. She didn't even dare watch short videos here, and could only pick up novels again.
But novels also cost money... She could only painfully top up ten yuan.
Fortunately, compared to staying at Grandfather's house before with nothing to do, now she at least had sothing to look forward to. She'd occasionally glance at her ssages, hoping Chen Yao would have so free ti to actively chat with her.

She turned and went back into the room to open two cans of cat food, one for each cat, then returned to the bathroom door to wait for Wu Jiaming to finish washing up.
"Want to go play on the mountain today?" Wu Jiaming suggested. "I see the sun's pretty strong outside."
"Let's not. There's nothing fun on the mountain."
"How about a barbecue in the backyard then?" He let out a long sigh. "It's been boring as hell lately. Let's do sothing interesting, otherwise I'll get sick from boredom."
"Whatever you want, I'm fine with anything." Lin Nan leaned against the doorfra and asked, "Grandfather hasn't gone out to buy groceries, has he?"
"He bought a pile of New Year goods before the holiday. At least enough to eat until the Lantern Festival."
Mm, no wonder last night's dishes didn't seem very fresh.
After Wu Jiaming finished washing up, he walked out of the bathroom. The two switched positions and continued chatting.

So after washing up, she could only return to her bedroom, yawning as she continued lying on the bed reading novels.
Liu Xinyi had already been woken by her movents. She was now hiding under the covers, eyes wide open but refusing to get up no matter what.
"We'll be going downstairs for breakfast soon." Lin Nan glanced from the bed at her still-dazed cousin. "Hurry up and get up, get ready. This afternoon we're making barbecue."
"Barbecue?" She imdiately beca interested.
"Cousin said so. Go ask him on the second floor."
Liu Xinyi didn't bother washing her face and hurriedly got up to run to the second floor to ask Wu Jiaming.
Lin Nan let out a long sigh expressionlessly and once again opened her ssages, but there were still no ssages.
She really couldn't hold back anymore and typed a few words to send to Chen Yao.
"Where are you? Still sleeping?"

"With this rainy weather, isn't mold pretty normal?" Lin Nan unhesitatingly shot back.
"Yo, you've only been dating him for how long, and you're already taking his side." He clutched his heart dramatically. "Your uncle here has bought you food and drinks for so many years, and helped you take I don't know how many falls..."

"What a coincidence?" Wu Guodong imdiately found it suspicious. "Sothing fishy there. You didn't believe it, did you? You deserved to be sold out and still help them count the money."
