January 18th, 9 PM.

After dinner, Su Qi called her wives from the study to report her safe arrival, then returned to her room.

To her surprise, Su Qi found her mother already waiting for her on the bed.

Although Su Qi felt a bit embarrassed about sleeping with her mother at 18, seeing her mother's sparkling, expectant eyes, she decided to slip under the covers.

After all, no one else would know, so it didn't matter!

Monts later, Lu Ran looked at her daughter cuddled up against her, feeling a wave of tenderness. She wasn't sure if it was her imagination, but up close, Su Qi seed even more beautiful than the last ti they t.

It was the kind of change you couldn't quite pinpoint, but she just seed more alluring overall.

Lu Ran's first reaction to this realization wasn't joy, but rather a headache.

The reason for her headache?

It was because her precious daughter's charm had already grown so much.

Now, at their villa in Zhe Province, the threshold had been worn down by all the suitors coming to propose.

Imagining even more people pining after her precious daughter as her allure increased, Lu Ran felt a sense of distress.

After all, Su Qi was only 18 this year—still just a child!

Su Qi noticed her mother furrowing her brow slightly.

Not understanding the true reason, she instinctively assud this small gesture was due to her mother's worry about eting the system the next day.

Thinking this, Su Qi hesitated for a mont before saying:

"Mom, I'm 18 now, and my ntal resilience has grown stronger. Although I don't know exactly what happened back then, I've grown up well!"

Hearing Su Qi's words, Lu Ran looked at her precious daughter's fair face, which had tensed up with seriousness.

Although her face was still soft when scrunched up, Lu Ran could see the determination in Su Qi's expression.

Seeing Su Qi's resolute attitude, and thinking about taking her daughter to that place tomorrow to et "her," Lu Ran considered for a mont before deciding to say:

"Little Qi, let tell you a little bit first, and see if you can rember. If it's too painful, we'll stop thinking about it, okay?"

Hearing her mother speak so cautiously, Su Qi felt even more curious about that lost mory.

After taking two deep breaths and nodding to indicate she was ready, Su Qi soon heard her mother ask, as if reminiscing:

"Little Qi, there are twelve months in a year. Which month do you like the most?"

Months?

Su Qi was slightly taken aback by her mother's question.

Weren't they supposed to be talking about rembering the system? Why had the topic suddenly switched to months? Had she misheard?

Sowhat confused, Su Qi instinctively looked at her mother.

But when she saw her mother's still serious eyes, Su Qi realized she hadn't misheard.

Although Su Qi couldn't figure out the connection between months and the system, she knew her mother must have a reason for asking this question.

So instead of dwelling on the reason, Su Qi began to seriously ponder the question.

There are 12 months in a year, divided into four seasons: spring, sumr, autumn, and winter.

Spring is warm, sumr is hot, autumn is cool, and winter is cold.

Among these four seasons, Su Qi's favorite was the cool autumn.

The autumn months include September, October, and November.

After so thought, Su Qi felt that compared to the chilly November and October approaching winter, September, with its lingering warmth from sumr, was the most comfortable.

Moreover, for so reason, ntioning September gave Su Qi an inexplicable sense of familiarity.

Just as Su Qi was wondering where this sense of familiarity ca from, she heard her mother ask gently:

"Little Qi, have you decided which month you like best?"

Hearing her mother's question, Su Qi stopped reminiscing and instinctively shared the result of her contemplation.

"September!"

But as soon as Su Qi finished speaking, she felt her eyes blur!

What's happening?

Sowhat puzzled, Su Qi slowly brought her delicate hand to her cheek to check the situation, and felt a warm sensation.

Because the lamp was on, Su Qi looked at her hand in the light.

She found a glistening teardrop on the back of her hand.

What's going on? Who's crying?

Is it ?

Why am I crying?

Su Qi wiped her eyes, but tears continued to flow.

Confused, she sat up on the bed. A round, crystal-clear teardrop fell from her face due to the movent, landing on the blanket with a soft pat before quickly disappearing without a trace.

Feeling her body involuntarily shedding tears, Su Qi wiped her eyes while recalling the recent details.

It was after she answered "September" that her body started reacting this way.

So the issue must lie within this "September."

"What is September? Why does ntioning it make my body unconsciously sad? Why can't I stop the tears? Why can't I rember anything?"

As Su Qi kept thinking about "September," she felt a familiar sensation, as if sothing was about to break through an eggshell in her mind.

Gradually, this perfect eggshell beca thinner and thinner, until a tiny crack appeared.

With the appearance of that crack, Su Qi soon heard a voice from a long-forgotten mory:

"Brother Su, is your na Su Qi because you were born in July?"

"Brother Su, I'll tell you a secret. I was born in September. That's why the director nad Jiu Yue! Isn't it a beautiful na?"

"Brother Su, Jiu Yue heard Auntie Lu say that I'm your little wife. So does that an Auntie Lu is also my mom? Hehe, Jiu Yue and Brother Su have a mom together, it sounds so happy!"

"Brother Su, Jiu Yue likes-"

"Brother Su-"

"Brother Su-"

With each "Brother Su" from her mory, Su Qi's sealed mories slowly awakened.

Su Qi now finally understood why her parents were so cautious about the system's matter.

She also realized why she had such an affinity for the month of September.

She rembered everything, it all ca back to her.

Having recalled everything, Su Qi wished she could leave right away to et her system.

But just as she was about to suggest to her mother that they leave now, she found the scene before her suddenly becoming blurry.

In the mont before Su Qi lost consciousness, she vaguely heard a crisp, girlish voice:

"Brother Su, see you tomorrow!"
