On January 12th, two days after the "won's self-defense" lesson, Su Qi had rested well for ten days, signaling the end of her protection card's effectiveness.

However, Su Qi, with slightly reddened lips, wasn't worried at all.

She was currently en route to Pearl Airport in her in-laws' business car with her little wife.

Why depart on the 12th when the award ceremony starts on the 15th?

The reason was simple. Since St. Petersburg, Sweden was abroad, they couldn't fly from a regular airport and had to go to Pearl International Airport in Shanghai.

This increased travel ti significantly, and with a 12-hour flight ahead, they needed to allow for ample preparation ti.

Most importantly, St. Petersburg, the award ceremony city, was a beautiful water city.

Chu Qin, accompanying them, believed that as girls, they should take this opportunity to enjoy so tourism.

Unlike Su City's winter, St. Petersburg had a tropical climate with year-round sumr.

It would be a sha to miss such a travel opportunity.

Thus, for various reasons, Su Qi began her journey today, on the 12th.

Sitting in the smooth-riding business car, Su Qi enviously watched her father-in-law, Xiao Jinyu, drive. As a forr engineering student, Su Qi was truly weak against such large electric toys.

The thought of sitting in the driver's seat herself, freely controlling this large chanical unit, excited Su Qi imnsely.

Though she could easily afford a car with her current savings, the biggest problem was her lack of a driver's license.

Su Qi had a small plan in mind before. She had intended to get her license and enjoy so spicy hot pot once the "Empress Daji" hype died down.

While that hype had indeed decreased over a month, the recent "Director Su" trend had erged, forcing her to postpone her driving plans again.

Scrolling through short videos, seeing herself on screen once more, Su Qi pondered why it was so difficult for her to beco inconspicuous.

The car cruised along the asphalt road, lined with lush trees on both sides, creating a relaxing atmosphere.

Unlike her mindset when riding this business car to Su City for school last ti, Su Qi now felt unburdened, having resolved the jade seal issue and the ancient virus problem. With no new tasks from her system, Su Qi experienced a rare sense of carefree lightness.

Due to the long journey from Su City to Pearl Airport in Shanghai, crossing a large province, Chu Qin had thoughtfully stocked the car with plenty of snacks.

Sitting in the front passenger seat, Chu Qin watched the two cute girls in the rearview mirror, giggling and chatting, her daughter occasionally stuffing snacks into her mouth like a little hamster.

Chu Qin couldn't help but smile contentedly. Since her daughter t Teacher Su, everything had been progressing well. Now she had even developed the antibody vaccine and might receive an award.

Hearing her daughter's occasional laughter from the back seat, Chu Qin found it incredible how much her daughter had changed in just half a year, completely shedding her forr insecure and frail deanor.

Watching her daughter's soft, chubby face cutely munching on snacks like a little hamster, Chu Qin's smile deepened. After all, a good appetite signified health!

However, as the journey continued, Chu Qin's smile gradually faded. She realized her daughter might be eating a bit too much now.

At 7 PM, after nearly 9 hours of driving, the group of four finally reached Shanghai's urban area.

Although Zhe Province was close to Shanghai, with only a 2-hour high-speed rail journey, Su Qi had rarely visited this city.

Compared to this developed area, Su Qi's mory of her frequent visits to a more distant city suddenly beca hazy. The na that should have been on the tip of her tongue seed erased, like chalk wiped from a blackboard.

Before Su Qi could recall the city's na, she heard her little wife exclaim loudly beside her.

"Wow!"

The sound interrupted Su Qi's thoughts, erasing even the faintest trace of her previous train of thought.

Unable to rember, Su Qi turned her attention to her awestruck little wife beside her.

Following her gaze out the window, Su Qi saw the dazzling, prosperous scene of the city at dusk.

The tops of towering buildings were adorned with colorful lights, their reflections on the calm river surface creating a string of crystal-clear, brilliant pearls, flashing alluring red and green hues.

Although Su Qi had visited Shanghai a few tis before, perhaps due to her forr male identity, she hadn't been particularly interested in such scenes.

This ti, however, looking at the beautiful lights in the night, the prosperous nightscape reflected on the river, and the towering Pearl Tower piercing the clouds, Su Qi found the view truly stunning.

Hearing their daughter's exclamation from the back seat, Chu Qin and Xiao Jinyu quickly noticed the two girls staring in wonder out the window through the rearview mirror.

Seeing the two little ones fixated on the scenery, Xiao Jinyu deliberately slowed the car down.

Sensing her husband's action, Chu Qin thought for a mont before turning back to say, "Our flight is tomorrow morning. How about we stay here tonight? Maybe in that tall building over there? What do you think, Xiaoxiao, Little Qi?"

Su Qi followed her mother-in-law's gesture and quickly spotted a tall, bright building by the river.

Looking at the riverside skyscraper, Su Qi couldn't help but swallow. Her own mother's two apartnts in Shanghai were quite far from here, yet commanded exorbitant monthly rents.

This building, so close to the Bund, must house incredibly expensive hotels!

Although Su Qi was now genuinely wealthy and could afford any hotel, as soone who had been carefully budgeting just half a year ago, she felt such a high-end hotel didn't quite match her style.

Just as she was about to suggest a more affordable location, she heard her little wife happily say, "Mom, can I stay with Sister Su in my bunny room tonight?"

Hearing her little wife's words, Su Qi was stunned.

So, they weren't going to a hotel? Instead, it was her little wife's apartnt on the Bund?

Looking at her adorable little wife, Su Qi realized with shock:

This cute little girl was actually a hidden rich loli???
