On December 29th, the second day of the research institute's establishnt, Wang Zijin drove to the Xiaoxiao Qi Jin Research Institute: after dropping off Dr. Xiao at the academy as usual.

Following the detailed implentation plan agreed upon with senior students on the 27th, the research institute began its intensive renovations.

Due to the military order and Bai Miao's condition, all progress was expedited. Wang Zijin even used her personal funds to provide daily red envelopes to the construction workers, resulting in surprisingly rapid progress.

Yesterday, Wang Zijin estimated that the institute would conservatively be completed by the 1st of next month, with all facilities installed and research fully underway.

However, upon arriving at the institute today, Wang Zijin was taken aback. She hadn't expected to find an unexpected person in the temporary tin shed at the institute's entrance—none other than Lin Xiangdong, the Principal of Su University.

Lin Xiangdong, as the university's Principal, had his own intelligence network. He had inadvertently learned about Wang Zijin's recent efforts to establish a research institute with senior students.

In his 24 years as Principal, Lin Xiangdong had encountered many Student Union Presidents. But if asked who left the deepest impression, it would undoubtedly be the current president, Wang Zijin. She had both ability and determination, and most importantly, she wasn't sycophantic, fully embodying the pride of Su University students.

And now, this very Student Union President was undertaking the establishnt of a research institute.

Upon learning the details, Lin Xiangdong discovered that the legal representative for the institute was Su Qi, while the Research Director was that first-year genius.

Although to Lin Xiangdong, all three girls were young enough to be considered "little radishes" and not entirely reliable, thinking of how highly he regarded these girls, he decided to investigate the institute himself this morning.

Upon arrival, he witnessed many busy forr Su University students, which filled him with pride as Principal. He was truly pleased to see the university's students united and working together.

During his subsequent conversation with Wang Zijin about the institute, seeing the confidence in her expression regarding virus research, and hearing about Su Qi's bold commitnt before the mayor, even the usually unflappable Principal was surprised by their audacity.

Looking at Wang Zijin before him and the busy Su University students in the room, and thinking of Xiao Xiaoxiao's astonishing intellect, Principal Lin Xiangdong felt that if he, as the Principal, didn't assist his school's students at this mont, it would be regrettable.

Thus, on the morning of the 29th, Principal Lin Xiangdong began to leverage his influence to aid in establishing the research institute.

With the Principal's involvent, the entire construction situation saw another significant improvent.

At 4 PM on December 30th, the Xiaoxiao Qi Jin Research Institute: was finally completed. After inspection by a professional team from the city confird no hidden dangers, it was finally ready for official operation.

At this point, there were still 15 days left until the military order's deadline.

Incidentally, Wang Zijin had intended to cover the renovation and construction costs from her personal savings. However, when settling the accounts, she was unanimously refused by the senior students. They all expressed the sa reason: they wanted the institute's funds to be more abundant for further research.

Hearing this from their seniors, Wang Zijin and Su Qi felt a wave of warmth in their hearts. As they exchanged glances, their soft, delicate hands quietly clasped together. At that mont, they felt that perhaps choosing Su University had truly been a fortunate decision.

After the inspection team from the city completed their checks, it was already 6 PM.

Since Wang Yun, Bai Miao, and An Ning had been diagnosed with the ancient flu virus, even if they wanted to be discharged as research subjects, they needed to go through an approval process to prevent transmission to others. But now it was 6 PM, and the relevant staff had already left work.

Although Su Qi had hoped to begin the "bedside therapy" for her wife Bai Miao today, this plan had to be reluctantly shelved.

Wang Zijin, with her full social energy, arranged for the senior students and staff who had been busy for the past four days to dine at Su City's famous Manhan Tower restaurant.

She herself ate a quick al before accompanying her husband to the academy to pick up Dr. Xiao.

This ti, however, the three of them didn't return to their love nest at Green City Community Room 1507. Instead, they went directly to the research institute.

After all, as researchers participating in the study, the three of them would now be living there. Familiarizing themselves with the place a night early wasn't a bad idea.

Xiao Xiaoxiao, having been engrossed in virus research at the academy recently, was completely unaware of the institute's construction progress.

When the car pulled up beside the institute, the little girl let out a "Wow!" in her loli voice upon seeing the sign that once read "Green Coast" now changed to "Xiaoxiao Qi Jin Research Institute."

But what surprised the little girl even more was yet to co. As the rcedes G-Class ca to a stop, she pattered forward, pulling her Sister Su and Sister Zijin by the hands into the "research institute."

As soon as they opened the door, Xiao Xiaoxiao's eyes widened in amazent.

The institute was no longer the empty, barely decorated show ho it had been before. Now, the room had a miraculous, sci-fi feel to it.

Why did it feel sci-fi? Largely due to the abundance of brand new, high-end dical equipnt.

Beyond the dazzling array of modern instrunts, the room's overall design was quite ingenious. Despite the nurous devices, the reasonable layout prevented any sense of chaos.

Moreover, seemingly to maximize space and help the staff relax, each wall was painted not in traditional white, but in various warm hues.

For instance, the living room wall by the entrance was a soft, warm yellow. The study was light green, while the bedroom was light pink. In the research room's bathroom, there was even a pink chubby cat sticker on the wall.

Seeing this pink chubby cat, Xiao Xiaoxiao felt incredibly happy. She was absolutely delighted with this "research institute."

Su Qi, noticing the sparkle in her little wife's bright eyes, unconsciously patted her head.

Feeling her beloved Sister Su's gentle pat, Xiao Xiaoxiao thought about how Sister Su would be constantly treating the other sisters in the coming days.

After a mont's consideration, the little girl gently poked her Sister Zijin's waist and whispered:

"Sister Zijin, shall we replenish so trace elents tonight? To prevent the flu?"
