At Wang Yifu Hospital, on the 15th floor of the respiratory ward, Su Qi walked down the hallway. Even with her mask on, she could sll the strong scent of disinfectant.

Since her three wives' rooms were far from the elevator, Su Qi and the others had to walk through a long corridor.

As they progressed, Su Qi noticed that unlike her previous visit before quarantine, the hallway was now almost devoid of patients. Only nurses in their uniforms bustled about busily.

Wang Zijin, noticing her husband looking into the rooms, explained, "Hubby, to prevent cross-infection, patients are now forbidden from leaving their rooms."

Hearing this, Su Qi finally understood why it was so quiet.

Thanks to the nurses' familiarity with Wang Zijin and Little Doctor, the trio, including Su Qi, passed through without questioning. They soon arrived at the three adjacent rooms. Su Qi pondered which wife's room to enter first.

After so deliberation, Su Qi decided to visit An Ning first. She prioritized research institute matters, although she also wanted to check on Bai Miao, who was in the most critical condition. However, Su Qi worried about potentially transmitting the virus to her other wives if she visited Bai Miao first, as she was still in her fourth fever cycle.

So, Su Qi chose to open An Ning's door first.

An Ning's recent days had been uneventful. She'd wake up, chat with her parents, eat breakfast, and then, having nothing else to do, binge-watch TV series. In her ten-plus days of hospitalization, she had already finished five dramas.

The highlight of her day was the video call with her husband at noon. But now, at past 2 PM, Su Qi hadn't called, nor had she answered her attempt to reach her.

This left An Ning feeling disgruntled, to the point where she couldn't even focus on the TV show playing.

Just as she was planning to give her husband a piece of her mind once she recovered, she heard a knock at the door.

Surprised by the unexpected visit, An Ning went to open the door herself. To her shock, it wasn't a nurse, but her husband whom she'd been thinking about.

It had been over ten days since Su Qi last saw An Ning in person. Though they video-called daily, nothing compared to seeing her in the flesh. Seeing his wife's welcoming figure, Su Qi quickly embraced her, relishing her soft, fragrant embrace.

At first, An Ning thought she might be dreaming—after all, she was in isolation and visitors weren't allowed. But feeling the familiar touch and scent, she realized this was real. Her husband was truly here.

Despite enjoying the long-awaited hug, An Ning, mindful of the dangerous ancient flu virus described in recent short videos, reluctantly pulled away from Su Qi's small fra. She then asked, "Hubby, how did you get here?"

Before Su Qi could answer, the mischievous Xiao Xiaoxiao popped into the room, exclaiming cheerfully, "Sister An Ning, Sister Zijin and I ca too!"

Hearing this, An Ning looked outside and saw her best friend had indeed co along.

To avoid disturbing other patients, the four quickly entered the room, closing the door behind them.

Once inside, Wang Zijin began recounting the day's events to her friend.

Initially, An Ning felt touched hearing about her husband's ambitious plan to establish a research institute for their treatnt. Just the thought ward her heart.

However, as her friend continued, An Ning found herself increasingly bewildered. How had her husband managed to obtain approval so quickly, and from the mayor herself no less? And she had even convinced the stubborn Uncle Wang? It seed impossible.

Seeing An Ning's disbelief, Wang Zijin took out so docunts from her bag for An Ning to review.

As An Ning perused the papers, Su Qi, after so internal struggle, tentatively asked, "Um, Wifey An Ning, could I borrow so money from you?"

An Ning, engrossed in the docunts, was startled by her husband's request. She shifted her gaze from the papers to her.

Her surprise stemd from her knowledge of Su Qi's finances before the stock guru incident. She clearly rembered seeing an eight-figure balance in her stock trading app. Moreover, following her advice on the "Jade Rabbit" stock had led to substantial profits for her as well.

An Ning believed that her husband, being a stock market genius, must have earned even more than her. Additionally, as a shareholder, she had seen Qi Yun Investnt Co., Ltd.'s financial statents last month. In fact, An Ning suspected her husband's total assets might have reached nine figures by now.

So for her wealthy husband to ask for a loan was shocking indeed.

Despite her surprise, seeing her husband's slightly embarrassed expression, An Ning quickly asked, "Well, Hubby, how much do you need?"

Su Qi, looking at her wife and feeling a bit sheepish, lowered her head and said softly, "Not too much, Wifey An Ning. Just... just two hundred million."
