Once Arlon and June had left the room, Os let out a slow breath, his shoulders relaxing slightly.

"It seed like they believed it," he said, his voice calm but asured.

The man who had escorted them in gave a small nod. "You handled it well."

Os glanced at him briefly before turning his gaze back toward the door. "I've seen the two of them before," he continued. "Back in Kelta. But the problem is, they both are saviors."

The man tilted his head slightly, his expression unreadable. "If that were the case, he wouldn't have the badge. That's not sothing just anyone can get their hands on." His voice carried a weight that wasn't there before—a quiet authority beneath his neutral tone.

Os lowered his head slightly, as if in thought. "True. It was definitely given to him by one of the founders. But I am sure about this."

A brief silence stretched between them before the man spoke again. "Regardless, make sure they leave without any issues."

There was no suggestion in his words—only a decision already made.

Os responded imdiately, inclining his head in a deep bow, the kind one might offer to a king rather than an underling. "I understand."

When he straightened, his usual composure returned, but the shift had already happened.

For a mont, the illusion of authority was gone.

Then, as if nothing had changed, Os turned back toward the desk, while the man—his true superior—watched for a second longer before quietly leaving the room.

"Will you tell what happe—"

"Wait. It's not the ti yet," Arlon interrupted before June could finish her question.

She frowned but held back, watching as Arlon focused ahead. He was waiting for them to leave the city before talking.

As they neared the exit of the secret passage, the wall at the end turned into an opening by itself.

A faint breeze rushed past them as if the underground air had been holding its breath. Arlon glanced up, confirming that Nyx was still hovering in the sky like a bird.

From this distance, her appearance was indistinct, nothing more than a dark speck against the clouds. She was safe.

Once they stepped through, the entrance sealed behind them, the moving stone shifting seamlessly back into a wall. With no further hesitation, they made their way toward the city's exit.

June was practically vibrating with impatience. Her lips pressed into a thin line, her fingers twitching at her sides.

She clearly wanted to ask her questions right now but forced herself to wait.

The mont they crossed the city gates, she let out a long sigh and turned toward him. "You haven't even answered my thousand questions from before," she said, exasperated. "And now, I have another thousand."

Arlon smirked, amused by her persistence. "Well, we have ti until we reach our next destination. Where should I start?"

June didn't hesitate. "Since we have ti, I won't beat around the bush anymore." She crossed her arms. "How co there were two of you on the first day of the ga? And how did you kill the Demon when we were logged out?"

Arlon let out a small chuckle. "I see my explanation about the Demon wasn't enough for you… I suppose I should clarify so things. But just so you know, what I'm about to tell you stays between us."

June nodded imdiately, with no hesitation in her response. "I wouldn't tell anyone anyway."

Arlon exhaled, looking at the sky for a mont. Then, he spoke.

"For reasons I can't tell you right now… I don't need to log out," he said.

June sighed, shaking her head. "That much, I already assud. What I want to know is how."

"Hmm…" Arlon pretended to think. "Maybe it's okay to say this much… I have a title that lets stay logged in."

June's eyes widened slightly. "Wait, are there titles in EVR? I got more information from that than your answer..."

June huffed in mild frustration, and for a second, Arlon found it cute. But he dispersed the thought.

"I am sorry, but that is all I can say. I don't think I need to answer your first question about the guide, right? That was also ."

She imdiately looked away, her entire face reddening as she recalled all the tis she had interacted with "Arlon the guide."

She had been so confident—repeatedly declaring that she would figure out what was strange about him.

She really did find out. But if she had known the truth from the start… she definitely wouldn't have said half the things she had.

This was embarrassing.

"I-I see," she mumbled, avoiding his gaze. "Umm… moving on! Next question. Can I get a title?" She asked, trying to change the topic.

"You can," Arlon replied casually. "But you need to be level 150 first."

June groaned. "That's still so far away…"

"Not really," Arlon assured her. "I'll help you all after training. Don't worry."

His words seed to lift her spirits, and she nodded, looking relieved.

From there, the conversation flowed naturally. June fired off one question after another, ranging from serious to completely random.

"What do you do when you are logged in and we are not?"

"How were both you and the guide in Kelta if both were you?"

"Did you know this wasn't a ga thanks to that?"

Arlon answered all of them without hesitation, enjoying the back-and-forth exchange. It was an easy, fun conversation—a rare mont of levity.

Then, June grinned mischievously. "How was it talking to yourself while pretending to be two different people?"

"Pfft!" Arlon actually laughed, an uncharacteristic sound escaping him. "I think your serious questions are over if you're asking things like that."

"Hehe!" June giggled. "Okay, okay, let's get back on track. Tell about today—no, actually, explain everything. Otherwise, I won't even know what to ask about. Start from the beginning."

Arlon sighed, shaking his head. "The beginning, huh? Should I tell you about the past then?"

"Yes, please!" June said eagerly.

"Alright," Arlon said, his tone shifting to sothing more serious. "So anti-saviors approached Arlon the guide, and I joined them. At first, I decided they weren't bad people… but now, I'm not so sure anymore. Ah, we will co to that later."

From there, he recounted everything—the hunting trip with Wok, his report to Zephyrion, and his growing suspicions about whether the anti-saviors were truly as harmless as they claid.

"But today's visit changed a lot of things," he continued, his tone sharpening slightly. "First of all, Os's real identity… It's Asmond from the Magus Council."
