“This is truly amazing! It’s good enough to comrcialize imdiately without any issues.”

“Thank you, haha. I feel like all my hard work has finally paid off,” Professor Olan replied, unable to hide his proud smile. Penelope offered him genuine praise.

“Thanks to you, Professor, my life is finally going to feel a little more luxurious. Honestly, drying my hair was always the most tedious part of my day.”

“I’ve tried it myself, and it’s incredibly useful. I think n will appreciate it just as much.”

Now that she thought about it, n would definitely enjoy using hairdryers too. Many noblen had long hair, making this invention universally appealing.

Feeling like she’d t a kindred spirit, Penelope eagerly shared her grievances about drying her hair with Professor Olan. anwhile, Ahwin stood nearby, watching the two with an expression that clearly said, How nice for them.

Just then, Rector interjected into the conversation.

“Pardon for interrupting, but what is that device? Judging by your discussion, it seems to be sothing that uses hot air to dry hair.”

“That’s right. It’s called a hairdryer. With this, you can dry your hair in no ti. Even long hair takes only about ten minutes, so I’m sure noblewon will absolutely love it.”

A spark of interest lit up in Rector’s eyes.

“Are you planning to turn this into a business?”

“Of course. I’m confident this will be the most successful product in any of my ventures. You can even use it with a styling brush to create waves or add volu to your hair. Wait a mont… I need to design so brushes to go with it.”

Penelope answered, already lost in thought about the possibilities. Rector listened intently, his expression resembling soone who had stumbled upon a treasure in a dungeon.

Finally, Rector’s eyes glead like a bird of prey about to pounce.

“Do you have a particular partner in mind for this business?”

“This type of high-grade magical tool should naturally be produced by the Tower, don’t you think?”

“As expected, a brilliant choice. If you’re willing, I’d like to oversee the project myself. What do you think, Lady Penelope?”

Penelope responded without much hesitation.

“I’d be grateful if you would take it on. However, the investnt and distribution will be handled by the Halo territory.”

“Of course. As always, I find it remarkably easy to work with you, Lady Penelope.”

“That’s a relief. I feel the sa way,” Penelope replied, exchanging a satisfied glance with Rector.

Watching the two, Ahwin shook his head in disbelief.

***

A Week Later.

The Countess of Hinas hosted a tea party.

The very first invitation she sent was to the Lord of Halo. This was her attempt to restore the trust she had lost after the unfortunate incident at her last gathering.

[Please grace us with your presence at the tea party I am hosting.]

[Thank you for the invitation. I’ll make sure to attend.]

To her great relief, the Lord of Halo accepted her invitation.

The Countess of Hinas heaved a sigh of relief and steeled herself.

“The disgraceful incident where the Lord of Halo was nearly poisoned at my ball… The damage to my reputation must be repaired at all costs.”

With that resolve, the Countess and her servants poured their hearts into preparing the tea party.

The salon was decorated with blooming daffodils and tulips, and esteed noblewon from high society were invited. Each guest was carefully chosen by the Countess to create an atmosphere that would honor Penelope.

Furthermore, the servants’ backgrounds were thoroughly vetted to prevent any mishaps like the last incident.

“Lord Halo has arrived,” announced a servant.

The Countess stood, her heart steadying as she prepared to welco her guest personally.

It was highly unusual for the Countess to greet anyone other than a guest of higher rank herself.

As she reached the front door, Penelope was stepping out of the carriage, accompanied by her head maid.

“It’s been a while, Lord Halo. How have you been feeling?”

“Thanks to your concern, I’m completely fine now,” Penelope replied politely.

It had only been two weeks since Penelope collapsed after drinking the poisoned beverage, yet she looked remarkably healthy.

The Countess, relieved, spoke warmly, “Please co inside. All the ladies have been eagerly awaiting your arrival.”

“What an honor. Thank you for inviting ,” Penelope replied with grace.

“I cannot express how grateful I am that you accepted the invitation,” said the Countess, her sincerity apparent.

As they entered the salon, all the noblewon stood to greet Penelope.

Most of them had witnessed Penelope’s collapse at the previous ball and had been deeply worried about her ever since.

“Are you feeling better now?”

“Thanks to your kind concerns, I’m perfectly fine.”

“What a relief.”

“I heard that poison could kill with just a single drop. Surely the gods were watching over you.”

The noblewon placed their hands over their hearts, visibly relieved.

A few exchanged curious glances, clearly wondering about Penelope’s relationship with the Tower Master.

Still, none of them dared to ask directly—no noblewoman ignorant enough to breach etiquette would ever be invited back by the Countess of Hinas.

At that mont, Penelope signaled to Giselle. The head maid stepped forward and presented a wrapped box to the Countess.

The Countess looked surprised. “What is this?”

“It’s a gift to thank you for inviting to such a lovely event.”

“My, how thoughtful of you. May I see what’s inside?”

“Of course.”

To think that after all she went through, she not only accepted the invitation but also brought a gift. What a kindhearted young lady, thought the Countess as she untied the ribbon.

Inside the box was a set of costics in elegant glass jars. The Countess gasped at the sight of the luxurious items.

Seizing the mont, Penelope explained, “These are costics newly developed in the Halo territory. They work even better when paired with our Green Herb Soap.”

“Costics from Halo?”

“The colors are exquisite!”

“I’ve also brought gifts for the other ladies. You can take them ho when you leave.”

At Penelope’s words, the noblewon flocked to the Countess, who couldn’t help but feel a surge of pride as she stepped aside to give them room.

“This is simply stunning!”

“How beautiful.”

“The soft green tint… Is it made with the Green Herb as well?”

“That’s right. You have a sharp eye,” Penelope replied with a smile.

One noblewoman pointed to a separate item in the box and asked, “What’s this next to the costics?”

“Oh, that’s a magical device for drying wet hair. It uses hot air to dry hair quickly.”

“A device for drying wet hair?”

The noblewon’s curiosity was palpable—far greater than their interest in the costics.

This is the mont I’ve been waiting for, thought Penelope, smiling inwardly.

The reason she accepted the Countess’s invitation was to showcase the hairdryer to the noblewon directly.

“This might be best demonstrated. Could I trouble one of the Countess’s maids to wash her hair for us? I know it’s a bit of a bother, but it would help illustrate how it works.”

The noblewon murmured amongst themselves until one of them raised her hand.

“Excuse , but may I wash my hair and be the demonstration?”

“The Viscountess Elren herself?”

The other noblewon were stunned. None had expected the Viscountess to volunteer.

Only a few of them knew that Viscountess Elren was a devoted fan of the Lord of Halo, thanks to the Green Herb Soap.

Viscountess Elren, once plagued by acne scars and large pores, had avoided social events altogether. But her life changed completely after using the soap.

The results were dramatic: her skin beca radiant, revealing her hidden beauty, and her confidence soared.

For the woman who transford my life, there’s nothing I wouldn’t do.
