"Gone, finally gone." A tall woman, with her body covered in gory wounds, was trembling inside the wardrobe, blood staining the clothes within. If anything stood out, it was definitely those fiery red high heels on her feet.

And a barrage of comnts appeared before her eyes.

"People are so scary..."

"That Blood Ghost died so miserably, went out without looking where he was going, directly ran into three people, was cooked on the spot, terrifying."

"Red Shoes, be cautious, absolutely don't go out!"

Seeing the flood of comnts, the Red Shoes was nearly in tears. Earlier, the person outside kept knocking on the door, saying things she couldn't understand. Luckily, she had the protective layer set up by the All Ghosts Survival Platform and obediently hadn't opened the door, or else she could've ended up like that Blood Ghost, not eaten perhaps, but certainly killed.

When the ti cos, her true form, the red high heels, would beco the opponent's trophy.

"I... I... I want to go ho~" Red Shoes began to sob.

She never imagined she'd be so unlucky, selected for the All Ghosts Survival for the first ti, encountering the hardest garden apartnt newbie instance. So far, only one percent of the ghosts survived ten days and got out of the garden apartnt.

Truthfully, she felt very lucky. If it weren't for the Blood Ghost foolishly opening the door and getting killed, she might have been the one noticed when she rashly went out earlier.

"He must have gone far away by now."

After waiting for half an hour, Red Shoes carefully crawled out of the wardrobe, pressed herself against the door to listen for any sounds outside.

The corridor was quiet, which made her breathe a sigh of relief.

"No, I can't stay in this room any longer. I need to quickly find resources to extend the room ti, or else once the room ti disappears, the protective layer from the All Ghosts Survival won't be able to protect ." Red Shoes glanced at the countdown.

Currently, the protective layer had only twelve hours left. Of course, if she stayed out of the room, that number wouldn't decrease.

To increase protection ti, there are two thods: complete human tasks or obtain special items, but both ways co with danger.

Human tasks are extrely dangerous, failing them surely ans death for ghosts, and even completing them can sotis leave ghosts missing limbs.

As for obtaining special items, the difficulty isn't low either. Most such items are stored in extrely dangerous places for ghosts, with so places even harboring humans, securing them ans risking one's life.

After another half hour of waiting, Red Shoes carefully opened the door a crack, trying to observe the corridor situation.

But just as she was about to react, she suddenly saw a hand stretch through the crack, firmly gripping the door.

"See, I told you this one couldn't resist coming out," a voice rang out.

In that instant, Red Shoes' heart leapt to her throat, and her mind went blank, with only one thought: 'It's over, I've been discovered!'

At the sa ti, her live broadcast was flooded with comnts.

"Goodbye strear, mourn silently."

"Ah, still got camped, these three are truly terrifying."

"Move! Strear, move quickly, humans didn't act imdiately, you still have a chance!"

"Move my head, can't you see the strear's petrified? If it were you, encountering three people at the door, you'd be just as scared."

"..."

Red Shoes released her grip, let out a sharp scream, and hurriedly ran inside.

As the house door opened, three figures ca into view, the suffocating humans did not enter, instead strategizing how to eat her.

"Nothing good for materials, right? Maybe stew instead?" The leader said regretfully.

"Nice shoes, keep them for my wife, you two are single, so don't need them." The man on the left imdiately eyed her real form.

"Can you two be serious? I think perhaps..." The one on the right seed sowhat resigned, but in Red Shoes' eyes, this definitely wasn't a good sort, maybe intending sothing even more terrible.

But before this human finished speaking, he was interrupted by the leader: "What? Want to be an Undead Knight, all bloodied like that, you can still go to Dior, not now."

"Who'd want while it's hot, also, did this thing faint?"

"Fainted is good, you prepare the pot, I'll skin it, leave the shoes."

"Wait, this..."

After a chaotic commotion, Red Shoes was left alive.

Only tied up and hung upside down, seemingly undecided on how to be eaten.

Due to the tumult, Red Shoes awoke, seeing the figures of the three humans, and realized her dire situation, her heart sank to the bottom.

This ti truly dood... no, it might be even worse.

If she died outright, that'd bear no pain, but keeping her alive surely ant enduring tornt.

"Awake, huh." A human approached, smiling, seeming harmless.

"I have a favor to ask, wonder if you're available." He said, pulling out a heap of knives from his pocket.
