"Damn it, the blockade has worsened!" Elena's expression was filled with resentnt.

Looking at the intelligence obtained through much hardship, just the day after Fosa returned, he was arrested, naturally on charges of colluding with the enemy.

This incident subsequently caused a huge chain reaction, and all personnel related to Fosa were investigated by the Ascend Empire's intelligent machinery, implicating many others.

This led to heavy losses for the Moon Star Resistance Army.

Fosa was a thread, and if you pull on it, you can definitely uncover a large number of people.

"Leader, if it doesn't work out, we'll move to the northern part of the Empire. There are fewer chanical heads there." A senior mber of the resistance army suggested.

"About this matter..." Elena was about to speak when a trusted aide ran in and quietly inford her that soone wanted to see her, holding Fosa's token.

This made Elena both surprised and delighted; surprised because it seed Fosa really did get into trouble, delighted because Fosa had a backup plan — otherwise, it wouldn't be possible for soone to co looking for him carrying the token.

The person soon arrived, an ordinary-looking middle-aged man with a weathered deanor.

"Leader Elena, you can call Mr. Gu, but I won't disclose any more than that. After all, Mr. Fosa was just imprisoned; I can trust you, but I won't trust anyone else." The middle-aged man calling himself Mr. Gu spoke with a weary deanor, clearly not having had an easy ti getting here.

"Of course, that's understandable." Elena also beca serious; the actions of the Ascend Empire had left everyone on edge.

"Please, take a seat, Mr. Gu. You ca to see —is there anything Fosa needs to convey?" Elena got straight to the point.

Gu Shanhai sat down and then said, "Mr. Fosa knows he most likely won't be able to get out of prison. Therefore, I will cooperate with you regarding the support for the resistance army going forward."

"These are the supplies Mr. Fosa managed to gather before his arrest. They should arrive at the resistance army's base in half an hour." Gu Shanhai said as he took out a list and handed it to the other party.

Elena hurriedly accepted it and glanced at it, her heart calming down. Although the items on the list were few, they were exactly what the Moon Star Resistance Army needed most.

"Gathering these items wasn't easy, was it?" Elena sighed.

"Very difficult. Mr. Fosa ended up inside because of these supplies." Gu Shanhai also sighed, then with a solemn expression, said, "Although I am here to replace Mr. Fosa and highly value the resistance army's strategy against the Ascend Empire, to avoid following in Mr. Fosa's footsteps, I will keep my identity strictly confidential, and I hope the resistance army won't investigate ."

"Furthermore, if anyone deliberately investigates , I hope the resistance army will further scrutinize them."

"If my own safety is at risk, I will unilaterally sever ties with the resistance army."

Gu Shanhai's main intention upon speaking was to distance himself.

Upon hearing this, Elena frowned, "But if that's the case, how are we supposed to contact you, Mr. Gu?"

"Why would you need to contact ?" Gu Shanhai sternly asked in response.

"Naturally, to pass on so information. If we coordinate internally and externally, it will be easier to overthrow the Ascend Empire." Elena hurriedly replied.

"Leader Elena, given the current scale of the resistance army, do you truly believe what you're saying?"

"Providing supplies to the resistance army is already putting lives at risk. We have to cross the intelligent machinery defense lines and dodge big data scrutiny, yet you claim we're not taking enough risks?"

"Because of Mr. Fosa's imprisonnt and the arrest of nurous dedicated individuals, many rchants have already refused to continue supporting the resistance army."

"Yet you want inside-out coordination—which is basically cutting off all support."

Gu Shanhai sighed, showing his disdain for her lack of appreciation.

Elena's expression was also sowhat gloomy; Gu Shanhai's words were an outright refusal. She contemplated these matters to both take control of the situation and avoid being betrayed, considering Gu Shanhai wasn't Fosa, and they were eting for the first ti.

Additionally, she wanted to keep developing through this connection, to prevent the disconnection of the thread to the Moon Star Resistance Army in case of Gu Shanhai's arrest.

As for Gu Shanhai personally, she didn't pay him much attention, especially when he ca in with a unique attitude of only helping under safe conditions, which irked her. Hence, she needed to further bind him to the Moon Star Resistance Army's cause, just like Fosa.

"I understand, I wasn't thinking comprehensively." Elena said this, but naturally didn't an it, deciding to placate him for now and deal with future matters later.

Since Fosa's arrest, Elena had realized profoundly that she must maintain control, otherwise those dedicated individuals would only give whatever she wants, whereas she needs them to provide exactly what she asks for.

Gu Shanhai squinted, knowing exactly what she was thinking. He didn't co here on a whim but intended to probe what kind of person Elena truly was.

Why was she stuck at the primitive moon energy stage, unable to transform it into a moon concept? Viewing from afar didn't suffice; his main intention was to get hands-on exploration.
