During the growth and expansion of the Five Elents Sect City, many adventure groups had settled in and began their quest to conquer the five adventure lands. However, their progress had always been slower than Rein’s group.

The one with the slowest progress was Rein himself, who was now only at level 2 and had awakened a skill nad "Automatic Gathering". The effect of the skill was just as its na suggested: once activated, it could collect resources from the surroundings with a hundred percent success rate.

When Rein acquired this skill initially, his already half-cold heart cooled down even further. This skill was considerably better than "Automatic Return" and "Automatic Move", but the problem was it lacked any combat ability.

As the leader of the adventure group, he was definitely expected to be on the front lines. Yet, to his frustration, he had only leveled up to a life skill, leaving him at a loss for words for a mont.

Still, the skill’s effect was quite good. Whether it was herbs, minerals, or even the corpses of monsters after death, everything could be collected cleanly, which was even better than Rein doing it manually.

But leveling up was proving to be difficult; this ti, it required Rein to perform ten thousand instances of automatic gathering to advance to level 3.

This had kept him from completing his upgrade even to this day, leaving Rein deeply distressed.

Indeed, the one dragging the adventure group down was Rein himself. His four adventure group mbers, who were his wives, had already reached at least level 5. The original highest-level mber, the Demon Giant Swordsman, was at level 6, but after arriving here, the speed of level advancent had decreased.

"Saint Lord, I’ve heard that you sell so extraordinary items."

A voice ca, and Gu Shanhai looked up to see a man wearing a thick overcoat and a cap that covered most of his face, with a mask over his nose, obscuring his features, speaking in a deep tone.

"Extraordinary items? What exactly are you referring to?" Gu Shanhai had plenty of unusual items on hand, but had no clue what the other party wanted.

Whether it was sothing to restore a man’s vigor or to flatten a city, both could technically be considered extraordinary items.

"Of course, they are... extraordinary," the man hinted to Gu Shanhai again.

"???" Gu Shanhai felt like he was dealing with so kind of riddle master.

"I have all kinds of extraordinary things here. You need to at least give a category, like wanting to conquer the world or conquer won, instead of playing mind gas with and making guess," Gu Shanhai said helplessly.

It was as if his place was selling so kind of contraband CDs, even though he was openly legitimate.

"I was told, boss, that you sell things here that could wipe a city off the map," the man said in a low voice, but there was so reluctance as he spoke, clearly sowhat dissatisfied with Gu Shanhai.

"Oh, easy to say, easy to say. Look, this thing is called Big Ivan. When it explodes, not only will it level the city, but it can also leave poison that lingers for tens of thousands of years."

"And this one, the limited edition Regicider. When you put it on, you can go toe-to-toe with a Saint."

"Or perhaps take a look at this Slaughter Aura version 7.0. Just throw it into a crowd, and everyone will involuntarily descend into a killing frenzy until there’s not a single living thing left within the aura."

"Of course, if we’re talking about the most useful item, it has got to be the Blood Barrier Pill. Colorless and tasteless, and you can even eat it after recycling."

Gu Shanhai laid out a whole array of items, offering everything imaginable and achieving the impossible.

"If you can pay the right price, custom orders are no problem either," Gu Shanhai was very accommodating with his services—as long as the money was good, everything was negotiable.

"To think you are the Dusk Saint. It’s just that I can’t afford the price," the man sighed, speaking in a regretful tone.

Hearing this, Gu Shanhai too didn’t expect such an answer, then nodded, "Alright then, co back when you can afford it."

With that, Gu Shanhai began to pack up his things; this was just wasting his ti.

Yet, the man reached out to stop Gu Shanhai’s actions and spoke, "But I really need it."

"Oh, and then?" Gu Shanhai quickly packed up and then looked at the man doubtfully.

If you don’t have money for food, Gu Shanhai could still offer you a al. But there you are, attempting to purchase weapons of mass destruction and telling him you don’t have money; that would be too ridiculous.

"I want to ask Saint Lord to give one as a gift, and I promise a generous reward in the future!" the other party said forcefully.

"You ntioned ’in the future,’ when exactly is that, and how generous will this reward be?" Gu Shanhai thought about letting it slide on credit, but that needed to be properly negotiated.

"..." The other person fell silent, not expecting Gu Shanhai to actually ask such questions, which left him montarily at a loss for words.

"Please give so face, Saint Lord," the other person eventually spoke up again.

"Let’s forget about face, let’s sign a Divine Contract instead," Gu Shanhai said calmly, thinking this kid was planning on freeloading.

The person was montarily speechless.

Gu Shanhai didn’t feel the least bit uncomfortable; on the contrary, he sat down to see how the person would respond.

Extending credit to adventurers wasn’t new to him, and as long as a Divine Contract was signed, even if the person died, Gu Shanhai wouldn’t lose out.

Therefore, those willing to sign were basically penniless yet eager to grow stronger; if they couldn’t pay back, they’d be sent to a second group to move bricks and repay the debt. Gu Shanhai didn’t really care.

But this person in front of him—Gu Shanhai truly hadn’t expected him to be genuinely trying to freeload.

"I am a Guardian Elder of the Holy God Sect. If you, Saint, give so face today and gift one, once I beco divine, I will certainly support you," the person revealed his identity, trying to impress.

"Fine, let’s sign the Divine Contract," Gu Shanhai nodded, conceding face only if a contract was signed.

Gu Shanhai was well aware of the Holy God Sect’s reputation, similar to a cult, which had tricked many an adventurer into believing they possessed divine potential. Its mbers were firm believers, and it was not a small force, each one arrogant and shaless by common definition.

Their reputation was actually quite good since they only deceived themselves, not others.

Just like this person, who only wanted to freeload. If Gu Shanhai didn’t agree, he would persist in trying to persuade him in various ways but wouldn’t resort to robbery or force, which made him quite peculiar.

"Can we not sign?" the person asked.

"We can’t, what if you beco divine and don’t honor the deal?" Gu Shanhai retorted sarcastically.

Having learned that the person was from the Holy God Sect, he understood why the situation was so bizarre.

"Think about it, if you beco divine, you’ll undoubtedly be very powerful, right? So, if you break the contract, no one will be able to help . So, for to give you one, your promise of a generous future reward also needs to ensure so form of security, not just empty words," Gu Shanhai persuaded with a mix of sentint and logic.

After a long silence, the other party nodded: "You make so sense."

"Good, then let’s talk about collateral," Gu Shanhai began a long spiel, confusing the Guardian Elder from the Holy God Sect until he sleptwalked through acquiring Big Ivan and signing a Divine Contract that was nearly equivalent to selling his soul.

By the ti the person realized what had happened, he had already left Five Elents Sect City with Big Ivan in hand.

"Sure enough, screwing over your friends is one thing, but deceiving oneself is just plain stupid. But on the other hand, what exactly does this fool plan to do with Big Ivan? Blow up so city?"

Did they really think Gu Shanhai was kind-hearted, simply extending credit for a nuke after a few words? The main reason was that he reveled in chaos and looked forward to the excitent.

After the person used Big Ivan, Gu Shanhai would go to the Holy God Sect to demand paynt. If they paid, it would cost them a fortune; if not, they could not bla Gu Shanhai for being ruthless.

That’s right, there was a catch with the Divine Contract; it wasn’t just signed by the Guardian Elder personally, it also stipulated that Gu Shanhai could collect debts from relatives, superiors, subordinates, and so forth.

He could even trace it back to their power, making him the creditor of the entire Holy God Sect.

The other person intended to freeload, but naturally, Gu Shanhai was also thinking of trapping him.

He couldn’t be foolish enough to believe whatever the other person said. Besides, if the person truly beca divine, then that was fine, it would be an invested relationship. But it was certainly impossible; Gu Shanhai understood the nature of divinity, only Saints had such qualifications, and for anyone else, it would take being the protagonist.
