The turn of events caught Gu Shanhai off guard, and he realized that his mission was already complete.

"Hello," replied Gu Shanhai calmly. He didn’t leave imdiately, as there’s fortune to be found in danger.
He couldn’t defeat the Shugges Lord, but he could escape imdiately.
"Thank you for saving from that villain. By the great source of all sources above, I absolutely despise this world full of cracks," said the Shugges Lord in a strange tone.
"Full of cracks?" Gu Shanhai was puzzled.
"Yes, this world is full of holes, inhabited by life forms from various worlds. I was reading in the library of the Ancients when he got that book."
"He wants eternal life, damn it. Do you know how insane he is? He actually wanted to rge with ," the Shugges Lord cursed. Eternal life for these mythical creatures wasn’t really rare, almost standard.
"I understand, but I’m still confused. Did he lure here just to stop you? And why did he die after drinking the potion?" asked Gu Shanhai.
"Of course not, he just wanted to use you as a ritual sacrifice. As for dying after drinking the potion," the Shugges Lord paused, then said cunningly, "He drank them in the wrong order. Yes, I tricked him on purpose."
"So, with or without , you could’ve escaped on your own?" Gu Shanhai understood the cause and effect.
"I still needed a bit of help. After all, without a sacrifice, he wouldn’t have co and drunk the magic potion," the Shugges Lord honestly admitted.
"So, you’re planning to leave now, right?" asked Gu Shanhai.
This Shugges Lord appeared to have been infiltrated into the human world for a long ti, with an exceedingly complex mind, leaving Gu Shanhai sowhat uncertain.
"No, no, no. It’s too dangerous outside. I’m too weak and need sufficient ti and nutrients to recover, and this place is very suitable," the Shugges Lord declared bluntly.

Gu Shanhai was certain; this Shugges Lord’s origins were extraordinary, a follower of Ubo Sasra.
"That is indeed a problem, as you are a foreign visitor without pertinent spatial technology. However, if you can offer a piece of knowledge or a rumor that satisfies , I’ll help you solve this issue," the Shugges Lord did not readily agree.
"That’s really putting in a difficult position," about the Shugges Lord seeing through his foreign visitor status, he didn’t care much.
