Deer Plain, Gu Shanhai finally returned with Ava.
They didn’t encounter rlin blocking the way, nor did they face any other dangers. Robbers and bandits naturally didn’t count as dangers.
Upon their return, they saw Mafas talking with an elderly man, and it looked like they were having a joyful conversation. Without thinking, one could tell this elderly man was rlin.
"Ava, you’ve had enough fun, it’s ti to go back," rlin said directly upon seeing the two return.
"I’m very sorry, sir, but Ava has no plans to go back. He intends to stay and beco a Druid," Gu Shanhai spoke up first.
Mafas hesitated for a mont before finally speaking to smooth things over, "rlin, I understand Ava’s situation too. He’s not a noble, and living in the Royal Capital isn’t as good as becoming a Druid..."
"Mafas, you don’t understand," rlin interrupted Mafas. This smoothing things over, of course, leaned towards Gu Shanhai, as how could they favor an outsider over one of their own.
"Grandpa rlin, I don’t want to go back. I want to stay here," Ava spoke up at this mont. He was sowhat confused about what exactly rlin’s situation entailed.

"He could beco a Druid King!" Gu Shanhai also interrupted rlin, which made Mafas feel sowhat satisfied since the forr had interrupted him.
"If he is a natural-born King, he can beco a King anywhere, not under your so-called control."
"Ava is a whole person, not an object in your hands. From the mont you had Ava fostered in Sir Ekter’s house for your own purposes, you should have admitted that you took in Ava not for his sake, but for your own."

Gu Shanhai firmly took the moral high ground in pointing out rlin’s faults.

"You arranged for Du’er Lahan of the Rahan Family and Sethanda Esohon of the Esoeron family to co kill and take Ava back. We need to settle this."
Gu Shanhai said, pulling out a piece of Rahan Family armor, followed by Sethanda Esohon’s head and the broken Demon Spear.
At that mont, Mafas’s look changed, and the other four Marked Druids gathered around, glaring at rlin with hostile expressions.
"You can say I am lying, but the Banshee and Ava can testify for ." Gu Shanhai then put down the large chest behind him, opening it to reveal the tightly bound Banshee.
"Give an explanation, rlin Wizard," Mafas said.
The implication was clear, they would have to take action if he didn’t explain today.
It was bad enough that you chased after Gu Shanhai, but to dare co here and provoke, it wasn’t just ignoring the Imprint Druids, it was like having been slapped on the left cheek and then mocked for not offering the right cheek for another slap.
"This is just a misunderstanding, I didn’t order Du’er and Sethanda to kill you, just to bring Ava back, I have no need to kill you," rlin denied, but not completely.

Relying solely on himself was not enough to morally bind the entire Druid collective, hence he needed to create a significant montum, otherwise his weak influence couldn’t bend the stronger forces.

rlin hesitated a mont after hearing this and finally didn’t lie, "I did see it."
"That’s good, the Red Dragon I saw is Ava, and he will rule the world. So, the prophecy speaks of his becoming a Dragon Vein Druid, for there’s no other way to beco a Red Dragon!"
"And as you said he’s a natural-born King, then he will be the King who leads our Druids out of the old era, the new Druid King!!!"
Gu Shanhai spoke powerfully, rendering rlin speechless, who wanted to suggest that the Red Dragon might be symbolic rather than literal...
At these words, Mafas’s expression brightened. Gu Shanhai’s explanation seed to make sense, no wonder the journey back was so difficult, and no wonder rlin had intercepted them here.
