"Are you planning to switch to the summoning flow? You've got a wife, then a Tai Sui Gu, and now you've even got a Corpse King." Gu Shanhai comnted.
The three of them had now arrived at the fifth level, and Da Tianwei had successfully turned the Corpse King into his permanent summon. The Corpse King's naturally cowardly personality made it impossible for him to confront his own death calmly.
So now he followed behind Da Tianwei, looking rather subdued.
"It has its uses, it has its uses." Da Tianwei didn't explain directly.
He already had a plan in mind for the Corpse King. First, use the Corpse King's strength to go through instances with him. Later, when it's of no use, just find a higher-level world with so Undead Mage or in a Corpse Refining Path world to dispose of the useless Corpse King.
This way, he might even be able to earn back the resources spent on purchasing the contract. At first glance, it looks like an even trade, but during this period, the Corpse King was working tirelessly for him, so he actually profited from the Corpse King's production.
Not to ntion, if it weren't for the special Tai Sui Gu and the pressure from Shura, the Corpse King would never have been so easy to acquire, as it far surpassed him in terms of level and attributes. Without Gu Shanhai's aura, killing him would be as easy as squashing an ant.
"So what's the deal with this task having no ti limit or objective?" Shura cut in, getting straight to the point.
"Who knows, but it's confird that this is likely the Ghost World." Da Tianwei was just as confused; he had experienced unactivated mainlines before, but this was a first for him.
"The task is actually complete; we are now on a hidden task."
"That's right, we just need to kill the All Ghosts Survival Platform, which is why the rewards haven't been given yet."
"aning, if we exit now, we can settle imdiately, with a guaranteed SSS rank. If we clear this level, we'll get additional rewards, not from the 'First Era', but from the Ten Thousand Races Arena."
Gu Shanhai shared his guess.
"Really?" Shura asked in disbelief.
"Actually, since the last level, the task was already completed; you can open your panels to check." Gu Shanhai didn't give examples or guesses but suggested they look themselves.
Seeing this, the two imdiately opened the task panel without hesitation and saw that although it was 4/5 completed, it showed the task as complete, with an option to manually submit and leave.
"What if I die here?" Da Tianwei pondered about taking a shot.
"How would I know, I'm not the 'First Era'. It doesn't matter if Shura dies, but aren't you worried about your Corpse King dying here?" Gu Shanhai teased Da Tianwei.
A permanent summon is not a companion and doesn't enjoy the sa treatnt, so if it dies, it cannot be revived. Even if Gu Shanhai created the Tai Sui Gu, Tai Sui Gu is not afraid of death because Da Tianwei cut a piece of at from it to serve as a fire seed.
So even if most of it dies outside, it can grow back with that base.
As for Cui Yingying, who is a companion, dying is no big deal. Like a player, after death, she will return to the player's room, which is Da Tianwei's room. However, without Cui Yingying, most of Da Tianwei's skills and talents cannot be utilized.
Otherwise, getting a companion, needing to increase affection, complete companion tasks, main tasks, and even so hidden tasks for such a difficult companion naturally cos with certain privileges.
"Eh?" The Corpse King looked puzzled. What was going on, why was it only him who couldn't revive?
After signing the contract to beco Da Tianwei's permanent summon, he was instilled with the corresponding knowledge of the 'First Era', and this was surprising news to him.
So, they can all revive upon death, but he can't?

He didn't want to ntion it just after joining, fearing Da Tianwei would rember it. He decided to increase favorability and make contributions before suggesting it.
Leaving was not an option, as the Corpse King realized the All Ghosts Survival Platform was insignificant under the 'First Era' and Ten Thousand Races Arena, not even a shrimp.
"I really can't bear it." Da Tianwei stroked his chin. There's no way he'd part with the Corpse King, his talisman, and top combat power. However, he couldn't leave because Shura invited him here, so it'd be inappropriate to just leave. He then turned to Shura, asking, "What do you think?"
If Shura chose to leave, he would certainly follow, as the inviter was leaving.
But if Shura didn't leave, Da Tianwei couldn't just leave on his own. As teammates, there were personal motives and benefits, but they were fundantally in this together. If he really did leave, letting others know about this behavior would result in no one teaming up with him in instances.
The circle of top players isn't big; everyone has connections. It'd be easy for word to get out.
So it's rare for significant rifts to occur between top players.
"If the difficulty is actually this high, staying here certainly isn't suitable. We can leave first." Shura noticed Da Tianwei's thoughts; his words implying that if he wanted to leave, he could. It was no big deal; Shura acknowledged it.
