Chapter 817: Chapter 694: Return to the Solar System!

In the vast universe, next to the Karloka Nebula in the Milky Way, a tiny crack suddenly appeared in the void, and it rapidly expanded in a very short period of ti.

Soon after, more than six hundred disc-shaped battleships erged from the crack.

This was the main fleet of the Geotric Civilization, which had just finished participating in a brutal cross-border war less than a month ago, and now was unfortunately dispatched to execute another dangerous bait mission.

It could be said that they had invested heavily to take down their old rivals, the Silicon-based Civilization!

Just after the arrival of the more than six hundred warships, a large number of oddly shaped vanguards surged out from the nebula.

“These are the lower-level war machines of the Silicon-based Civilization. They are usually used as cannon fodder to attract firepower, with very weak individual combat capabilities, but their numbers are almost endless…”

Administrator Mony was commanding the fleet to attack while introducing this type of war machine to Lynn. From the remains they had intercepted in the past, the internal structure of these machines was quite simple, containing only an energy chamber, propulsion system, and weapon device, making them a very cheap consumable.

As he spoke, hundreds of warships launched their attack simultaneously. Nurous antimatter beams shot out, like sharp blades cutting through, and under the precise calculations of the ship’s computer, the tens of thousands of approaching vanguards were soon subrged in the sh of beams.

Only a portion of the forces remained within the nearby star field, appearing powerless against the main fleet of the Geotric Civilization, and were quickly annihilated, not causing even the slightest ripple.

Administrator Mony dared not relax in the slightest, remaining solemn. He knew well that while the fleet attacked these cannon fodders, the ssage had already reached the base station of the Silicon-based Civilization. It would not take long before nurous war machines would arrive through the wormhole, exterminating the enemy.

Their ti was very limited.

About ten minutes later, the sentinels dispatched successfully transported a batch of captured vanguards back. This ti, they were lucky, as the self-destruction of the machines did not succeed.

“Have you ever tried using signal tracking to locate the core of the Silicon-based Civilization?” Lynn inquired. Since the other side might possibly be an intelligent machine civilization, they should have a core that governs everything.

“We’ve tried, but it didn’t work,” Administrator Mony said helplessly.

Lynn raised an eyebrow, placed his hand on one of the vanguards to decompose it, followed by the second, third, and fourth one. After understanding the structure of the devices, he began to trace the signal sources.

After so probing, Lynn soon understood why Administrator Mony said what he did, because the number of signal stations he sensed was unbelievably large, distributed in all directions of the galaxy. A rough estimate showed there were at least over a billion, and ssages were continuously being transmitted between each signal station.

“Using this thod to hide their core?” Lynn was also sowhat troubled. Such a vast number of stations and frequent information transmission speed made finding the core extrely difficult.

Lynn even attempted to reverse-infiltrate by disguising a signal, but was imdiately detected. Controlling over a billion signal stations, the computing power of the Silicon-based Civilization, which managed half the galaxy, was no weaker than his, and was in fact substantially stronger.

“Did you find it, Governor?” Administrator Mony asked expectantly as Lynn reopened his eyes. To him, the technological level of the Magic Empire was far beyond what many civilizations could achieve, and there might be so unexpected gain.

Lynn looked a bit embarrassed but still pointed confidently to a direction on the star map.

“Let’s check here first!”

The direction Lynn pointed to was the star region where the Sun is located in the Federal Database. This was also one of his main reasons for coming to the galaxy—since the core’s position could not be found quickly, a revisit to an old place was in order.

The investigation into the signal source wasn’t completely fruitless either. At least they obtained a large number of coordinate locations, one of which was very close to the Solar System.

Administrator Mony had great trust in the technological level of the Magic Empire. At the mont the enemy’s reinforcents arrived, he imdiately ordered the fleet to enter the uncontrolled wormhole torn open by Lynn.

In the next mont, an extrely spectacular scene unfolded before everyone.

It was a gigantic modified planet. Thick tal supports jutted upwards from the planet’s surface like gigantic peaks, and in the direction facing them, a recessed area spanning thousands of kiloters revealed a faintly visible red-hot lava at its base.

“Pluto?” Lynn imdiately recognized it. Although it had been completely transford, he had visited the base on Pluto in the Federation many tis in his previous life and the impression was deeply etched in his mind.

It seed they had reached the outskirts of the Solar System.

The sudden arrival of the geotric fleet clearly caught the other side by surprise, but the reaction of the Silicon-based Civilization was equally swift, with a counterattack following imdiately!

Within the planet, a large number of vanguards and even larger war machines erged from the gaps between the steel mountains.

In the abyss-like depression, the red light grew brighter and brighter. In an instant, the terrifying core cannon was already activated. This weapon, using the planetary core as an energy source, was no weaker in power than a shot from the Star Annihilation Cannon and had its endurance capacity maxed out!

Moreover, in the surrounding space, spatial and temporal rifts were rapidly spreading… Clearly, reinforcents were coming continuously from various star systems.

“This ti, the reinforcents arrived so quickly?” Administrator Mony was quite surprised, knowing that they had been fighting in the Karloka Nebula for almost half an hour before reinforcents barely arrived.

It seed that this star region was indeed crucial!

At the mont of descent, Lynn unfolded his divine domain, flattening all the spatial and temporal rifts erging in the void, cutting off the other side’s reinforcents for the ti being!

“Attack, attack!” Seeing Lynn easily thwart the reinforcents, Mony imdiately shouted excitedly.

More than a hundred warships at the forefront fired simultaneously, and the obstructing Pluto was utterly destroyed under the combined attacks of the Star Annihilation Cannons!

Afterwards, the entire fleet quickly advanced towards the direction of the star, the Sun. The distance between the two was approximately 4.5 billion kiloters, and with the Curvature Engine advancing at twice the speed of light, it would take only two hours!

Lynn gazed at the particularly flickering light in the distance, with mixed feelings in his heart. Perhaps this ti they accidentally chose the right enemy; this Silicon-based Civilization may very well have ties to the Federation…
