Chapter 804: Chapter 681: Even gods are nothing more than advanced cannon fodder

After Lynn revealed the purpose of this mission, many crew mbers in the fleet even had the urge to turn around and run away.

The power of the Magic Empire was sothing they were acutely aware of. After the high-level eting concluded six months ago, the announcent that the geotric civilization had beco a vassal shocked every geotric being.

For over a thousand years, after discovering Elent No. 7 and causing a technological explosion, the geotric civilization had beco one of the most powerful civilizations in the entire galaxy.

Proud of their own civilization’s developnt, the majority of geotric beings couldn’t accept this fact when the news broke.

However, the voices of opposition fell silent after the disc leaders released the video footage of what transpired in the conference hall. It was then that the geotric people understood why over a thousand leaders unanimously entrusted the future of the entire civilization.

The opponent was simply too powerful!

Weapons capable of altering cosmic laws—they had never heard of such things and could hardly imagine such a powerful existence.

So when Lynn ntioned there was a minor test for the geotric civilization to handle, requiring them to prepare for war, the geotric civilization’s upper echelons thought it was about teaching a lesson to so unfortunate star system civilization that had offended the Magic Empire. They never expected it to be related to the Magic Empire’s internal affairs.

Is this a battle they could get involved in?

Lynn naturally noticed Mony and the others’ apprehensions and imdiately reassured them. “Don’t worry, all you need to do is deal with a part of the high-dinsional weapons entering this starlit region. We’ll handle the real battle!”

Administrator Mony was not at ease and was about to inquire about the details of this opponent when the light brain had already transmitted an alert ssage…

The descending gods were the first to launch an attack. Compared to the hesitant fleet of the geotric civilization, the gods of the main world acted without any scruple.

Especially since previously being tricked by Lynn and having the Temple of All Gods destroyed right before their eyes, many gods eager to invade the grand universe and seize promotion opportunities felt brutally suppressed. Therefore, upon arrival, seeing these all-too-familiar circular battleships located outside the black hole’s event horizon, they launched an imdiate attack.

The shot was fired by the God of Destruction!

Tens of thousands of beams of destruction covered the entire airspace, tens of thousands of kiloters in diater.

“Execute Directive No. 12!” Administrator Mony imdiately instructed the light brain to issue the command.

The thousands of battleships in the targeted airspace perford a dinsional jump the mont they received the ssage, completely disappearing from their original location by the ti the energy beams streaked by.

When they reappeared, twelve hundred battleships were arranged in a semi-circular formation. Two hundred ships at the forefront opened their frontal shields, their hulls emitting a blue glow, with the space ahead rippling like waves.

This was the dinsional trap…

Following that, a thousand Star Annihilation Cannons fired simultaneously, aid at the direction of the Space-Ti Gate.

The distance between the two sides was over tens of millions of kiloters. Even if attacks arrived at the speed of light, the gods had ample ti to react. However, those legends serving as the vanguard entering the grand universe were not so lucky.

The fortunate ones were taken away by nearby gods, while the less fortunate could only remain in place to die, so even fleeing haphazardly into the black hole’s coverage area.

Every legend was a figure of high status in their respective planes, but in such a universe-level war, they were rely the lowest-level cannon fodder, likely to die instantly from even an energy shockwave’s impact.

“I am the Sun God, Alte, the bearer of light, the god of holiness and glory!”

The arrogant proclamation echoed in the minds of everyone in this starlit region. Like Harrie, the War God, the Sun God Alte was also a god with Great Divine Power!

Faced with the starship attack, Alte did not even bother to evade, radiating an exceedingly bright sunlight around him. The few beams of the Star Annihilation Cannon coming directly at him dissolved several kiloters away.

With such a great god as Alte as their spear, over ten powerful divine beings attacked simultaneously. The descending gods quickly broke through the dinsional traps and the sentinel machines’ defensive periter, entering into incredibly brutal close combat.

The gods of the main world were no strangers to these peculiar yet powerful alchemical creations, knowing well that close combat was their weakness.

While battleship cannons were potent, they couldn’t be controlled as freely as Divine Arts, making them prone to friendly fire. Once engaged in close combat, much of the enemy’s offensive capability was nullified.

In less than half an hour, over thirty star system-level battleships were destroyed, but five gods fell in return.

Alte alone dealt with a full seventeen battleships, revealing the true might of the Sun God!

Destroying a star wasn’t challenging for the geotric civilization, but that was because stars lacked intelligence and couldn’t retaliate. This power, if wielded by an intelligent life form, could only be described as terrifying!

Yet the geotric civilization wasn’t without solutions. In the past decade of contact with the Magic Empire, their technology had once again made a leap forward. Be it the acquisition of Magic or the higher-dinsional power observed in Lynn, geotric civilization’s researchers had learned imnsely.

The Curvature Engine Technology had long been cracked, and various magic-based weapons and defense systems had been mass-produced. Given a few more decades, they could genuinely achieve a civilization-level upgrade!

The last war’s failure also led to so geotric beings developing thods to counter these gods. Administrator Mony was thodical in his command. By feigning weakness to lure Alte into the ranks, he had ten battleships equipped with artificial black hole weapons surround the Sun God from all directions and then self-destruct.

Ten Black Hole Cores were triggered simultaneously, and the terrifying gravity tore Alte’s divine body to shreds, engulfing nearby battleships and gods alike.

After paying the price of twenty more battleships, the fearso Sun God Alte and four weak to dium Divine Power gods were all eliminated.

The fall of a great god temporarily slowed the main world’s gods’ offensive. However, as the Space-Ti Gate expanded, more and more gods descended, and their armies seed endless…

anwhile, Lynn had no energy to observe the brutal war below, nor could he intervene. He had even retracted his avatars, as the surrounding stars, billions of kiloters in diater, were being eroded and covered by so powerful force—this was a divine domain struggle between the main gods!
