What exactly was Magic Power, and why had the Magic Empire so readily traded away such an extrely precious resource? These two questions had plagued Yita for a long ti.

Advanced scientific research always ca with unknown risks, and they had all witnessed the miraculous nature of Magic Power. If they could utilize and control it, it would undoubtedly elevate their civilization to a new level!

It was with this thought that Yita had initially cast aside the confusion in his heart, preparing to address the issue through the advancent of science.

However, the study of the phenonon of Magic Power spontaneously entering the Sea of Quanta struck Yita like a bolt from the blue. The Magic Power derived from the death of intelligent beings would spontaneously return to the Magic Empire’s base.

This made Yita sll a strong scent of conspiracy, with countless possibilities flickering through his mind.

If the other party could use so thod to allow a part of the Magic Power to enter the Sea of Quanta during a transformation, then they might also be able to manipulate and control other Magic Powers.

Once they spread Magic Power throughout the entire geotric civilization, what would happen was unimaginable to Yita.

This was a complete trap.

The other party’s trade of Magic Power was not a gift but a deliberate ploy to make them spread and utilize this energy.

Subconsciously, Yita wanted to notify the leader, Gertha. Before understanding why Magic Power spontaneously returned to the Magic Empire, they must halt all utilization and research of Magic Power!

Just as Yita was about to press for an ergency conversation, he suddenly stopped and turned to his assistant, hesitating before asking.

"Have we received any reply to the ssage we just sent out?"

"Yes! Lord Gertha is very pleased and is preparing to convene a high-level disc eting and publicly comnd our achievents!" the assistant replied.

However, Yita felt no joy at all, repeatedly recalling the abnormalities of the leader of this star region, Gertha, over the past few years.

Since undertaking an energy transformation adventure, Gertha had begun to let so trusted aides and high-ranking individuals within the star region undergo energy-state transformations.

Yita had found this odd before, as these people, unlike Gertha with his impending end of life, had no urgent need for such haste. It would have been entirely possible to wait another ten or eighteen years, even if just to increase the success rate by five percent.

Furthermore, in terms of Magic Power research, Gertha had given them a green light, never once denying any experintal requests they made, even blatantly violating the laws of the geotric civilization.

As a researcher, Yita had a very low moral threshold, which is why he had unhesitatingly conducted human experints on the scale of 100,000, but according to his understanding, the leader Gertha’s style had always been conservative. Even if it was for the survival of the geotric civilization, it still seed sowhat far-fetched.

So the second speculation erged in Yita’s mind. Their energy transformation technology was based on Magic Power, essentially a way to utilize this special energy.

Could the Magic Empire sohow influence those geotric beings who relied on Magic Power and who had already undergone energy transformations...

Or perhaps, the ascent of energy within the geotric civilization was exactly what the other side wanted them to do...

The more Yita thought, the more terrified he beca. If this speculation was correct, the geotric civilization was undoubtedly in a very dangerous situation.

What added to Yita’s pressure was knowing that many disc leaders had already completed their energy transformations, and even over sixty percent of the people in this laboratory had undergone the transformation.

Yita couldn’t fully determine who was trustworthy and who was not.

The internal signals within the star field were relatively independent, and Yita couldn’t contact the Supre Leader at all...

Wait, it seed that [Gerta] was preparing to host a high-level conference...

Yita suddenly rembered what his aide had just said, and then realized this was the perfect plan to expose the Magic Empire’s conspiracy, as most of the leaders would be present.

With this in mind, Yita carefully sent out a ssage.

...

Several days later, in the vast universe, System 0001, thousands of galactic battleships arrived at the outermost gravitational periphery of a star through a temporary wormhole and were only allowed in after inspection.

This was the core hub of the Geotric Civilization, the birthplace of civilization, and the defense was extrely strict, especially since this was a high-level disc conference, normally held once every hundred years, with all senior mbers present.

The location of the conference was set within a high-dinsional space.

Although the Geotric Civilization’s research on dinsions was still in its early stages, it was still capable of creating an independent high-dinsional space.

The purpose was naturally to avoid enemy strikes, given that so many important figures gathering in one place could lead to unthinkable consequences if attacked by a hostile civilization.

[Gerta] was neither the latest nor the earliest to arrive.

Inside the vast conference hall, various frequencies of electromagnetic waves flickered continuously, with nearly all the high-level officials debating the plan for energy ascension proposed by [Gerta].

There were conservatives who stubbornly believed they should not abandon the characteristics of carbon-based life, and radicals who thought they should completely lift the restrictions to achieve the quickest possible ascent to an energy state.

The foreign policy towards the Magic Empire was also a hotly debated topic, with dozens of proposals being intensely contested.

Yita hadn’t seen such a grand scene for a long ti.

It must be said that contact with the Magic Empire had injected new vitality into the entire civilization; the last ti such a situation occurred was docunted in the Light Brain over a thousand years ago, when they first discovered Elent Seven.

Just as everyone had arrived, the Supre Leader pressed the warning bell, and a powerful electromagnetic wave instantly covered the entire area, turning all communications into disordered signals.

The thousands of disc leaders present imdiately realized that the eting had begun, and the first to speak was [Gerta], who had proposed this high-level eting.

"What I want to discuss is the recent progress regarding energy transformation technology..." [Gerta] got straight to the point, announcing the success of mass-energy state conversion technology with a ninety-five percent probability, even boldly claiming full confidence that this probability could be raised to one hundred percent by the end of the year!

This undoubtedly addressed the biggest concern of the opposition, as no matter how high the probability was, the possibility of failure caused apprehension, with no one wanting to be the unlucky one.

"As for the technical issues, Yita will be responsible for addressing them for you!"

At this, the disc leaders present all looked over, and Yita, quite nervously, stood up. He understood this was his only chance.
