Dull, foolish...
Under the influence of an inexplicable force, Lynn’s thoughts beca confused, and his mory gradually faded.
If it had been his original body here, he naturally would not have been affected by these forces, but he was now just an avatar, his power equivalent to a newly elevated lower deity, currently bound by the power of the Wisdom Balance, struggling to resist the threats erging in his mind.
Additionally, as the Balance tipped, a massive pressure surfaced around him, coming from various directions and even penetrating dinsions, as if to completely crush him...
This direct and peculiar attack on the spirit was clearly beyond Lynn’s expectations, making him realize that a second deity had joined the effort to block him!
In fact, the power of the God of Knowledge and Alchemy alone had already exceeded his expectations. If it weren’t for the opponent’s foolish act of using knowledge as a force in their realm, and instead joining forces with the yet-to-appear deity to launch a direct attack, he probably would have perished by now!
Simultaneously suffering physical and ntal blows, Lynn lost his ability to resist in that instant. His chaotic brain couldn’t organize an effective counterattack, and the only thing he could do was try to retain so important mories before completely giving up resistance...
As the Balance continued to tilt, the body composed of Divine Power gradually started to disintegrate, shrinking to about seventy percent of its original size, his body even beginning to seem ethereal.
Just as Lynn’s body was about to collapse completely, the tilt of the Balance suddenly stopped, followed by the rapid retreat of the chaotic sensations in his brain.
This was not because he had freed himself, but because the God of Knowledge and Alchemy had stopped their lethal blow!
After all, killing the intruder was not their primary task; more important was to understand how the other had reached the main world, and whether it involved the God of Life and Creation.
However, his recent experience on the Wisdom Balance made the God of Knowledge and Alchemy particularly cautious, imdiately assigning this task to their colleague.
The next mont, the true form of the God of Dullness and Folly appeared before Lynn.
The deity’s appearance was indescribable, like a heap mixed with limbs and filthy mud combined together, radiating an aura that made one feel irritable and mad.
After the God of Knowledge and Alchemy touched the restraint of the Balance, a strange tendril extended from the filthy mud, flying straight towards Lynn’s body.
This was the Divine Arts—"Tainted Touch."
All matter that ca into contact with the filth would be tainted by this force, even capable of assimilating weaker deities, transforming them into part of itself!
But Lynn’s actions were clearly faster, and the mont the restraint disappeared, he opened his eyes. A strong beam of light burst forth from his palm, severing the extending tendril, along with the God of Dullness and Folly behind it!
The filthy black mud cracked, and blood—or perhaps muddy liquid—spurted from the fissure.
This separated flesh and blood did not splatter randomly but stretched like so kind of living creature from all directions, rolling towards Lynn.
Although the God of Dullness and Folly’s thoughts were always sowhat abnormal due to his divine role, this did not imply a lack of logical reasoning. He naturally had to guard against a desperate counterattack from his opponent...
But what t him were hundreds of ultra-high intensity cosmic rays. The tainted flesh that swirled in from all directions quickly shattered into pieces, and the remaining attacks were blocked by a protective shield that lit up all around him.
Everything happened in an instant. Such a sharp and decisive counterattack not only caught the God of Dullness and Folly off guard but also left the God of Knowledge and Alchemy imnsely surprised.
He used the Wisdom Balance to erode the opponent’s Divine Power while letting the God of Dullness and Folly confuse the opponent’s thoughts. Normally, this Incarnation should have lost the capability to resist for a short ti, yet it still erupted with such formidable power.
The God of Knowledge and Alchemy did not realize that the physical and ntal assault was indeed more than Lynn could endure and had indeed deprived him of his ability to resist to so extent. However, before his thoughts were completely scrambled, Lynn had stripped out so of his more important mories and then tried to conserve his energy as much as possible, letting his opponent "destroy" his body.
Because Lynn was also aware that the opponent was unlikely to kill him outright to obtain information. Both the Balance and ntal erosion were ant to weaken his resistance.
Clearly, he guessed right!
The mont the bindings were lifted, Lynn allowed those stripped mories to return and gathered all his remaining energy to ensure that he was not inferior in reaction ti and speed. However, the tools for attack and defense were advanced experintal weapons from a geotric civilization, all of a world-ending caliber. The downside was also clear: limited energy that couldn’t support prolonged combat.
So it had to be... a swift and decisive battle!
While shattering those Tainted Touches, Lynn didn’t bother with the shards of the pulverized God of Dullness and Folly; instead, he charged toward the other opponent, the God of Knowledge and Alchemy, who had maintained a relatively safe position since the battle’s comncent.
Such reckless action didn’t pose much of a threat, yet the God of Knowledge and Alchemy beca vigilant. The opponent’s performance had already proven that he was not an enemy to be taken lightly; he surely had sothing to rely on!
If the opponent wanted to get close, then just prevent him from getting close!
After the illusion of the Balance vanished, the runes that comprised it had not faded, and the God of Knowledge and Alchemy activated these runes scattered in the void with a thought.
In that instant, space stretched out countless tis.
Earlier, to utilize the Divine Artifact Wisdom Balance, the God of Knowledge and Alchemy had intentionally increased their distance to about ten kiloters. At the speed of Lynn’s incarnation, it would take one ten-thousandth of a second to arrive, but now it was like a matter of inches... yet worlds apart!
In the blink of an eye, hundreds of Tainted Touches had coiled up again, and the protective shield on his outer periphery trembled continuously, utterly unable to withstand the corruption, quickly deteriorating.
Though the two gods’ divine roles were sowhat conflicting, they worked together in unexpected harmony. As the protection disintegrated, nurous tendrils directly penetrated Lynn’s body.
Unfortunately... As he watched the close enemy, who had exhausted too much strength to launch "Dinsional Jump," Lynn sighed. Relying solely on an incarnation was indeed insufficient to cope with the encirclent of two gods.
Fortunately, he had achieved the purpose of his journey.
So it was also ti to end it!
