Chapter 732: Chapter 609: Show the Enemy Weakness and Ponder the Greatest Fears

How to disguise an advanced civilization is a question worth pondering deeply.

Inside the war council room, the councilors energetically suggested ideas, with so believing that the council should build gigantic towers, as high, spacious, and majestic as possible, on the eting grounds with the geotric civilization.

Others thought they should showcase all their most cutting-edge technology to the others, then inform them that this was their weakest, most insignificant technology, in order to intimidate them!

Noise from the lively debates filled the conference room non-stop, with various feasible and outlandish suggestions being brought forward. Amongst the most exaggerated was Rafael’s plan, which proposed creating a region entirely made out of antimatter for negotiation purposes.

“The energy cost is too great, and it’s too deliberate!” Vittorio shook his head, dismissing the idea since the other party also controlled antimatter technology and might even surpass them in skills, which would make it easy for them to spot any flaws.

Harrov nodded in agreent. “Our advantage lies in magic; we need to focus our efforts there!”

As far as they understood, the Eternal Star was likely the junction of two different universes, and Magic Power was sothing that did not exist in other star domains. Utilizing sothing completely beyond the other’s comprehension for displaying their power should yield an impressive effect.

Aurora and Anthony were also in favor of this view, but how to create an oppressive negotiation locale was giving them all a headache.

While everyone was caught up in the discussion, Lynn, who had been focusing on his avatar, suddenly opened his eyes and interrupted. “I’ve just received so not-so-good news.”

The noisy conference room instantly fell silent. Harrov, with a grave expression, asked, “Could it be that the alien civilization hasn’t given up and plans to continue their assault on us?”

“No, it’s not that bad,” Lynn shook his head and then relayed the intelligence he had gathered from the brains of those geotric aliens through his avatar.

Though the fleet was light-years away, they were not entirely unfamiliar with this star domain. They could capture light reflected from the Sun through a special device and decipher the information it carried.

And as they got closer, the information they obtained beca more comprehensive.

Now, the geotric civilization was aware that they had not colonized the other planets in this star system and even treated them like a planet-level civilization that had not yet managed to leave their howorld.

Of course, that wasn’t entirely wrong. A few years ago, during the reign of the empires and churches, without considering top-level combat forces, the entire level of civilization didn’t even reach the second-grade civilization in their assessnt system.

Fortunately, this war should have so impact on the aliens’ judgnt. At least from the mories he acquired, part of the geotric aliens had begun to doubt whether the coordinates received from the Eternal Star might be a trap.

After pondering for a long ti, Vittorio ca up with a new idea. “Since it’s difficult for us to imagine the posture of a high-dinsional civilization, and it’s not easy to be flawless, why not go against the road!”

“You an to show weakness on purpose?”

Anthony imdiately understood Vittorio’s aning, who nodded in response. Since the other side believed they were a civilization fond of disguising themselves, they might as well continue to solidify that belief.

Lynn also thought it was a good idea, but it still needed sothing extra…

It would be best to show weakness, yet have enough alarming details!

“That warship will arrive in this star system in about a month; we don’t have much ti left!”

A month passed swiftly, and the council was busy making preparations. In the vast cosmos, within an unknown star system in the second arm, a disc-shaped warship with a diater of over five kiloters was rushing toward the target star system.

As the distance between them was now less than a billion kiloters, the information captured from the reflected light was increasing. However, no matter how one looked at it, this did not seem like a star system under the control of an advanced civilization.

They saw no light energy conversion instrunts encircling the entire star, and four out of five planets were still in a primitive state with no trace of any civilization.

Could it be that this was a star system that had just been discovered and colonized by them? But it would be unlikely that even the ‘basic’ infrastructure like light energy conversion instrunts would be missing.

The councillor was utterly baffled by this, although over this period many things had confused him, such as the fact that, although they were prisoners, they were not subjected to strict control. In fact, there was no guard at all, and they were free to navigate as they wished.

Unless… these people were not at all worried about them turning tail and running off?

Considering this concern, the councillor allowed the ship to travel along the fixed route honestly but still managed so subtle moves. After the energy system was restored, they secretly communicated with their howorld, reporting the events leading to their capture.

The disc leaders did not express any bla, instead seeing it as a rare opportunity to understand the targeted civilization up close and decide on their next action.

Fearing discovery, the secret communication was terminated after a few atomic parts, and another reason was that the target star system was now close at ‘sight’.

The onboard photon brain soon sent a notification that two ships, not inferior in size to the main ship, were approaching at a very high speed, and significant space-ti fluctuations were noticed around them.

“Curvature Engine…” The councillor confird this again, then hurriedly transmitted, “Quick, transform the appearance of this ship into encrypted information and send it back to the howorld!”

He was very aware that the top scientists of their ho world were also researching Curvature Engine Technology and were at a crucial mont. The ship in front of them would undoubtedly serve as an excellent reference.

Just as before, the information was sent without any interception.

At that mont, in the conference room of the disc, the leaders who received the communication imdiately summoned a group of top spaceship designers, ready to start analyzing the other civilization’s level of technology from the appearance of their ships.

If they could find a way to replicate and decipher the secrets of the Curvature Engine, that would be more than ideal…
