Chapter 716: Chapter 593: Fleeing with a Planet, Running Towards Eternal Freedom?

A month and a half had passed in the blink of an eye, just as Lynn had anticipated, the gods of the main world had not given up their covetous ways towards the exotic lands due to the terrifying might of the released proton ball, but they had beco much more cautious in their invasions, no longer acting as brashly as before.

This was also within Lynn’s expectations; his strike was partly ant as a deterrent. Based on the fact that gods would greatly diminish their combat power once they left their Divine Realm, it was enough to deter those gods of limited power from daring to easily step into the exotic lands, thereby buying him a substantial amount of ti.

Under such pressing circumstances, the council once again accelerated their gathering of resources from the exotic lands, taking everything that could be moved. All the locations of the relatively scarce minerals were marked by Lynn one by one, and then directly extracted with Divine Arts and hauled away by spacecraft, which was very convenient and efficient.

In recent tis, the wizards from the Natural Conservation Society had also quickened their pace, relying on a magic radar developed by a research institute that could detect magic power and vital signs, they crazily captured the magical beasts of the exotic lands.

As of today, the varieties of magical beasts captured had exceeded three hundred species, including so powerful legendary creatures. The alchemists and potion masters who loved research were so thrilled that they made new discoveries nearly every day.

Besides, under Lynn’s manipulation, the magic power density of the entire exotic lands had fallen by more than seven levels, with massive amounts of magic power channeled into Eternal Star, naturally advancing many apprentices of relatively low magical talent to beco official wizards.

The divine transformation of Eternal Star into a divine realm has also reached its most crucial mont, just lacking the core to be completely finished.

However, such smooth progress sowhat unsettled Lynn.

In recent tis, the small-scale harassnt by the enemies had never ceased; every day, millions of Fla Demons died within the exotic lands. Under their advanced warning and protection, only a few unfortunate laborers who happened to collide with spatial rifts were killed. At this rate, the enemies would not be able to conquer this plane even in a hundred years.

Such irrational behavior shouldn’t be typical of the gods of the main world…

Lynn felt sothing was amiss, but their current understanding of the gods’ capabilities, especially those of the chief gods, was very limited, making it hard to speculate what thods they might use to break through the spatial barriers.

However, enhancing one’s own power was always the top priority to counter any threat!

Taking advantage of this relatively stable period, Lynn returned to Eternal Star to comnce the final ritual of rging with this life planet.

Magic power imbued with will continually penetrated deep into the ground, through the mantle thousands of kiloters thick, reaching the very core!

Lynn had always thought that although the core was the most crucial part of a planet, it was essentially nothing more than a mixture composed of high-density elents; however, when the magic power touched the core, he experienced a sensation he had never felt before.

He felt as if he had beco the life planet itself, which had stood tall in this star region since ti immorial; its outer crust was his skin, the solid mantle his bones and muscles, and the boiling magma his surging blood, circulating continuously under the heart’s pulsations at the core.

This imnse vitality was sothing Lynn had never felt when controlling the exotic lands or the Moon; the forr’s core was like an elderly person on the verge of death, while the latter was just a satellite, not even one-fiftieth the size of Eternal Star.

Simultaneously, Lynn could freely control the planet’s magnetic field, or rather, the magnetic field seed to have beco a part of him, much like an extended sense. Lynn could even see the waves caused by gusts of solar wind passing by.

The constraint of the Sun’s gravity was extrely annoying to him, vaguely conjuring a thought in his mind.

Take the planet and fly…

Fly towards the boundless cosmic void, towards true freedom!

It was only a little bit more, and Lynn was about to act, but he soon realized that it wasn’t truly freedom, but rather, it was courting trouble.

Deprived of the Sun’s brilliance, although they could still rely on nuclear energy and antimatter for power, it would undoubtedly be much more troubleso. A stable star region environnt is particularly crucial for a life planet with lower technology.

One need only look at the fate of the exotic lands to see, even with the Moon God’s Divine Protection set up in advance, significantly delaying the loss of temperature, it nearly turned into a dead zone in a matter of decades.

So even faced with a group of spaceships from an alien civilization of unknown technological level soon arriving in this divine realm, Lynn had no intention of fleeing with the planet.

For one, this universe seed very dangerous, and the presence of one alien civilization likely indicated there might be a second, third, or fourth.

Secondly, how fast could such a huge planet run? If it couldn’t reach sub-light speed, it would sooner or later be caught by those alien warships!

Lynn quickly adjusted his emotions, fully rged with Eternal Star, and, along with the Moon and exotic lands, now controlled three planes simultaneously, naturally enhancing his power further.

Lynn felt he could do more than ever before, but he still needed so ti to familiarize himself with this newfound power; yet clearly, there were more pressing matters to deal with – the new spacecraft, built by the council at great expense, was now completed!

With one step, Lynn left the Eternal Star and entered the cosmos, and with the second step, he stepped onto the barren moon.

The distance between the Eternal Star and the moon was hundreds of thousands of kiloters, but with the Divine Art of compressing space, it only took a few seconds to cross.

Ten massive warships were neatly stationed on the surface of the moon, of which five adopted the saucer shape using alien technology, while the other five used a diamond structure developed by Dennis and others, which facilitated the placent of curvature devices at both ends.

The reason there were only ten and no more was because the ships required manual control, and only the computing power of legendary Wizards could et this requirent, coincidentally matching the number of seats in the council chairmanship.

As for developing computer technology to assist with piloting the ships using AI, Lynn had considered it, but bringing it to fruition quickly wasn’t easy. Wizards in themselves were supercomputers; technology too basic would be less efficient than the magic network.

“It’s a pity we only have Ella as a qualified power source; otherwise, we wouldn’t have to worry about the troubles of the main world and those damn alien fleets,” Vittorio said with so regret.

Changing a power source wasn’t just about breaking the speed of light, it could also maximize the strength of the energy shield.

From the last encounter in the different realm with Ella, it was evident that the ships had their drawbacks. First, their massive size made them easy targets. At dium and long distances, they could rely on their extraordinary speed to prevent enemies from catching up, but at close range against deities in physical form, it was tricky, almost like using a cannon to shoot a fly.

Not to ntion that the opponents also had the ability to control space, which could to so extent weaken the advantages brought by the curvature engines.

Lynn’s mindset was quite calm; the fact that the council had gone from a feudal magic civilization to directly replicating interstellar warships in just a few years was already incredibly exaggerated, and he couldn’t demand much more.

“By the way, how has that one been behaving these days? Hasn’t caused any trouble, has she?” Lynn suddenly rembered Ella, who was trapped in the engine room being used as the core power source, and asked.

“No, she hasn’t. Although she has made a fuss a few tis, she’s generally been well-behaved,” Vittorio replied with a raised eyebrow and a smile.

In recent months, they hadn’t stopped training for a single day, simulating various adverse scenarios to plan counterasures, also aid at depleting the opponent’s power to prevent Ella from having ti to accumulate more power and break free from her bonds.

Lynn glanced at the position of the spaceship’s power room and nodded. “In that case, let’s continue the training.”

The ten warships soon set sail, heading to conduct their first group attack drill on the remote Brown Star.

anwhile, inside the saucer-shaped flagship, Ella, who was trapped in the power room, sensed that divine power was rapidly being drawn away.

“It’s starting again?”

Ella pondered silently, although soone’s barrier had blocked her external perception, the frequent, regular drawing of her divine power by the opponents definitely held a significant purpose.

Nurous possibilities flashed through Ella’s mind. She quickly guessed that the Wizards were facing a war, hence the frequent pre-war training.

The likely opponents were the gods of the main world!

Having so of the Moon Goddess Diana’s mories, Ella instantly realized this. Apart from this possibility, there probably wasn’t another enemy that could make this group of Wizards so cautious.

War ant conflict, and it also ant an opportunity for her!

Ella had not given up on the idea of accumulating strength for a counterattack. Apart from a few deliberate releases to test the strength of her bonds and to reassure the Wizards, she had been quietly accumulating power during the remaining ti.

The source of these powers were the still-existing Believers within the Eternal Star!

For Ella, it was undoubtedly an unexpected joy!

But upon reflection, it also made sense. The Church and Empire’s rule over a thousand years had deeply embedded itself into people’s hearts. Even if the Wizards defad and cursed it, it was impossible to completely sever the faith of millions of people located in unknown territories, city corners, or deep mountains beyond the council’s reach.

Even the most powerful beings struggled to control everyone’s thoughts!

Based on this, even though she was held captive in an area less than ten square ters, humiliated by being used as a power source for the giant alchemical machine, Ella continued to endure.

She was waiting for the right opportunity, and she believed that day wasn’t far away!
