Chapter 674: Chapter 557: Olympiad Mathematical Theorems and the Battle of the Gods!_2

Cecil, already on guard, saw the Soul Fire in his eyes suddenly burst forth, but it was only at this mont that he realized his body had been frozen in place.

The elents around him were like iron nails, fixed firmly in place by so force, immobilizing his body as well, leaving him with no choice but to watch helplessly as the beam of light sped towards him, completely unavoidable.

However, the “Corpse Explosion Technique” was, after all, a spell personally cast by Cecil, and no one knew better than he how to counter it. More importantly, due to his previous accomplishnts in conquering alien territories, the generous Death Spirit Lord had already granted him the most crucial credential of divinity—the Godhood.

This was also why Cecil knew this realm belonged to the Moon God yet dared to step into this world!

In the vast sea of consciousness, a strange crystal trembled slightly, and the light beam aiming at him imdiately veered off, disappearing from everyone’s sight.

“Oh?” Lynn was sowhat surprised. Even though he hadn’t exerted much effort, he hadn’t expected Cecil to be able to deflect the strike.

Cecil was even more thrilled, for he had just blocked an attack from a god!

But upon reflection, this seed only natural. Having received the benediction of the Death Spirit Lord and possessing the Godhood, he could indeed be called a Demigod!

And what he needed to face was only a god who had just ascended to divinity and hadn’t had the chance to master the laws; he might not be completely without a chance!

Cecil, his confidence growing, hesitated no longer and challenged the new god before him. In an instant, under the control of his will, four high-ranking Death Spirit Guards exploded into action.

Cecil was well aware that ordinary ans would pose no threat to the lofty deities. He intended to use the legendary souls as nourishnt to cast the Corpse Explosion Technique!

The mont the spell was activated, Cecil imdiately felt a pang of heartache, as legendary souls were not easy to collect, and most were transford into death spirits to enhance the strength of his legion.

These four legendary souls were one of his most important reserves accumulated over the past century, now being used as one-ti fuel!

The power unleashed was indeed terrifying!

Horrible Soul Screams imdiately echoed through the void; within the dark green fog of death, several fierce spirits erged, surging towards Lynn and the others.

Harrov, Aurora, and Vittorio were all on edge, but they soon realized that, although the spreading fog of death seed to be approaching them, it was actually getting farther away.

This contradictory perception was quite bizarre, but similar experiences had been encountered over a year ago when facing Eira…

Lynn extended his hand again, and the incoming fog of death suddenly curled from all sides towards the center.

In fact, it wasn’t the Soul Fog that was curling, but the entire space!

Seeing the fog of death so easily countered, Wizard Cecil’s confidence, which had just swelled, was imdiately shattered, as this was the most powerful thod he controlled, yet it proved utterly ineffective!

Escape…

All that remained in Cecil’s mind was this single thought, and the ‘Godhood’ within the sea of consciousness trembled once more. Unfortunately, it was already too late as several Locks of Arcane extended from the void, binding him tightly.

These chains were different from Vittorio’s Rune Locks; they were from a higher level, not only binding his body but also his soul on a higher plane.

And connected to the chains was a series of large, intricate gears.

These were gears!

Countless ethereal gears erged in the void, interlocking with each other, intricately woven together layer by layer.

As Cecil had anticipated, Lynn had only just ascended and his control over this new realm was not pure, but compared to other new gods, he possessed a vast amount of micro-theory as a foundation, which enabled him to utilize a multitude of techniques!

Those floating in the void, the variously sized “gears,” acted as a set of accelerating gear chanisms. The force applied on the first gear magnified tenfold repeatedly…

An exponentially growing number was undoubtedly terrifying. Even with Lynn’s current abilities, he could only materialize nine gears, amounting to a hundred million tis the increase!

The gears floating behind Lynn had fiercely rotated once.

Billions of tons of high pressure were instantly applied to Cecil!

Anything pushed to the extre has terrifying destructive power, not to ntion this pressure did not solely stem from three-dinsional space but from a higher dinsional level!

Under Cecil’s terrified awareness, his Skeletal Body, crafted by the Lord of Death Spirits and laden with magic power, began to warp, bend, and crack, with both body and soul being crushed bit by bit under the imnse pressure.

Cecil pinned all his hopes on that ‘Divinity,’ desperately activating the power of the cube, attempting to break free from the bonds of Lock of Arcane.

A strong fluctuation imdiately dispersed from the cube, but before Cecil could rejoice, he realized that his soul, fragnted under the overwhelming pressure, was being sucked into this cube.

It was only then that Cecil finally ca to the realization—the gift bestowed upon him was not a godliness but a creation imbued with Death Divine Power.

Now, under the imnse pressure of Lock of Arcane, this creation shattered…

Before being completely swallowed by the Death Divine Power, Cecil managed only to let out an enraged scream.

“Lord of Death Spirits, you deceive ?!”

In a flash, Cecil understood everything—why the Lord of Death Spirits valued him so much was because his Life Box was in the opponent’s hands. By harnessing the divine power and the entanglent effect of the soul, one could obtain the coordinates of this realm, thereby opening the gateway between two worlds, which was the last safeguard for invading this realm!

Lynn instantly sensed sothing was amiss. Inside the Lock of Arcane that enveloped Cecil, a chaotic aura was continuously spreading outward!

Lynn clenched his open right hand tightly, and the ethereal gear behind him fiercely rotated once again, accompanied by the sound of chains moving, ‘Hurrah,’ Cecil’s body and soul were both crushed into powder, and the interior of the chains gradually returned to silence…

Feeling the sa terrifying presence, Harrov and others breathed a sigh of relief, but Lynn’s expression remained grave.

Sure enough, just a dozen seconds later, a rift opened in the boundless sky, and endless magic power and matter erged incessantly from within.

The difference from opening the Space-Ti Gate, however, was that the magic power and elents pouring into this world contained a special will, or rather, it was the invasion of the Lord of Death Spirits’ divine realm into this world!

The entire space was violently shaking, ti beca disordered, and a chaotic color flowed from the rift!

It was a pale blackness that reached the extre… emanating a bizarre and chilling might, as if intending to devour the entire world!

“Lord of Death Spirits?” Lynn uttered this divine na with a heavy tone; the mont the rift appeared, his own divine realm cracked open a huge hole, or rather, was suppressed by the opponent’s divine realm!

For the guards and wizards in the Royal Capital, they could only see the sky splitting open and the expanding pale chaos.

But Lynn could clearly see grotesque heads burrowing out from the space rift.

The divine body of the opponent was hard to describe in words; it was a twisted entanglent of souls, its appearance reminiscent of the mythological multi-headed Hydra, possessing more than one head.

As legends like Harrov struggled, they glimpsed a hint of the true form of the Lord of Death Spirits, followed soon by abundant Purgatory Fire quickly igniting all around them.

Gods are invisible, imasurable, unknowable…

This is the iron law of the primary world! Unless one actively constructs a lower-dinsional projection for interaction like Lynn, peering into the divine body itself is a highly dangerous matter.
