Luckily, Lynn, realizing sothing was amiss that very mont, swiftly and precisely pulled out the ruby used to cast the laser just in ti to stop the spell before the light bent back on them, narrowly avoiding the risk of being wounded by their own magic…

The very next mont as he spoke, the originally gentle shaking of the airship grew into a violent sway, followed by an unpleasant creaking noise from the entire cockpit. Both the floor beneath their feet and the surrounding rails were rapidly shattering, as if being crushed to pieces!
As for the people on the airship, they had already tumbled down from the railings, narrowly escaping the sa crushed fate...
