Harrov, Aurora, and Vittorio had arrived early at the site and, after examining Fayez’s injuries, all appeared quite grave.

The atmosphere on the field was also extrely oppressive, with the surrounding wizards looking visibly anxious.

"Council mbers, how is Lord Fayez?" asked a wizard from the Shaping Science faction, urgently inquiring.

Harrov did not respond, but Aurora looked at the wizards gathered there, their faces marked by fear and unease, and said, "Although his injuries are severe, they are not life-threatening. He just needs so ti to recuperate."

Upon hearing this, the wizards at the scene breathed a sigh of relief, their tense nerves slightly relaxed, but they were still eager to know what kind of enemy could have injured Fayez, a legendary wizard, so severely.

The legendary wizards did not intend to explain and instead used a spell to return Fayez to his wizard form, then called for the best magic potion maker and sent Fayez to recuperate.

After all this was done, Harrov then turned to Lynn and the other council mbers, signaling them to co to Sky Realm tonight for the next eting.

...

Late at night, at the top of Corona Tower in Sky Realm’s eting hall, all one hundred and fifty-one council mbers had already assembled.

Compared to the noisy, bustling scene in the morning, the eting room now seed unusually solemn; only a few council mbers were whispering privately, worry and anxiousness apparent on everyone’s faces.

"Lord Harrov, I fear that Councilor Fayez’s injuries are not as simple as you ntioned," said August, breaking the silence and inquiring first.

The other council mbers also imdiately looked his way, waiting for Harrov’s response.

"Indeed, Fayez’s injuries are very severe. I have already administered the ’Resurrection Magic Potion’ to him, but the situation is still not optimistic," Harrov shook his head and sighed.

"What exactly happened? Who attacked Lord Fayez…" Rafael asked, puzzled. The only ones in Wizard Land who could threaten a legendary wizard were a few council mbers of the sa rank.

But soon Rafael seed to rember sothing suddenly and exclaid in shock, "Could it be a problem in the demon mine area?"

If he rembered correctly, the direction from which Fayez had co was exactly where the demon stone mines were located.

"Fayez has a wound in his abdon severe enough to threaten his life; it’s possible that he encountered an Eye Demon, Death Lord, or so other more formidable being there," Harrov said, frowning. With each na he uttered, the faces of the council mbers grew more solemn.

Only Lynn looked confused, turning her head to Tic and quietly asking for an explanation.

With Tic’s explanation, Lynn ca to understand that not far from Greenrill City in Giant Peak Kegar Mountain there lay a massive demon crystal mine, where the magic power was so intense it was unimaginable. This entire area’s space and ti were warped and chaotic, with the core even forming a peculiar magic power vortex.

It was like a naturally ford space-ti gate, but no one knew what lay on the other side of the gate. Wizard Land had once sent several teams to explore it, but none had ever returned alive.

Soone speculated that the other side might be connected to another huge demon stone mine, but so wizards thought it could lead to another world, as every once in a while, monsters they had never seen before would erge from the vortex of magic power.

Exactly because Greenrill City possessed such abundant monster and ore resources, a small Wizard Land was able to sustain so many official wizards.

However, this also brought nurous problems. For instance, more than a decade ago, several Heart Snatchers mysteriously appeared in the mine. Using their strange psychic powers, they broke through nurous defenses and caused significant chaos in Wizard Land. In the end, the council had to exert a great deal of effort to hunt down and eliminate them one by one.

While Lynn was inquiring, Harrov was discussing next steps with a group of chairpersons and councilors.

The proximity of Giant Peak Kegar Mountain and Greenrill City was too close; the ergence of a powerful and unknown monster inside was undoubtedly a huge threat. Many councilors had proposed forming a team led by legendary wizards, comprised solely of archwizards, to search for and eradicate the monster as soon as possible.

Tic and others thought this suggestion was too risky, as they didn’t even know what kind of monster had attacked the legendary wizard, Fayez. The number and ability of these monsters were all unknowns, and acting rashly could lead to significant casualties.

"We could wait for Lord Fayez to awaken, ascertain the situation, and then decide how to act,"

Rafael suggested, but was imdiately countered.

"Easier said than done, but Lord Fayez is gravely injured now. No one can be sure when he will awaken. If it takes too long, what if that monster roams around Wizard Land like the Heart Snatchers, causing more trouble? Then who will handle it?"

"Otherwise, we could send a few people to investigate the situation first..."

"Send who? Send you? How is that any different from sending them to their death?"

The entire eting hall erupted into chaos, with the councilors quickly splitting into two factions—imdiately heading to the demon stone mine to address the trouble before it escalated, or investigating first and acting once more was known about the situation.

The two factions argued incessantly, with the intensity growing ever higher, and many were using the opportunity to vent their fears.

Lynn did not participate. On one hand, he had just beco a councilor and was unfamiliar with the council’s procedures. On the other hand, the lack of intelligence made it difficult for him to think of a perfect strategy.

After an urgent consultation, Harrov quickly made a decision to cut through the chaos decisively. He and the other two chairpersons would lead the mission, accompanied by nine archwizards skilled in Alchemy, to ensure foolproof execution.

Lynn’s previously suggested theory of universal gravity had given him a considerable insight. This ti, they might be able to strategically set up an alchemical formation to further restrict that peculiar Space-Ti Gate and prevent similar incidents from happening again.

Thinking this, Harrov hesitated whether to bring Lynn on this mission, but after much consideration, he decided against it.

The situation inside the demon stone mine was still an unknown, and even Fayez had been severely injured—the danger was imaginable. Although Lynn was quite knowledgeable about stars and the theory of gravity, he was rely an official wizard lacking the ability to defend himself. Should any danger arise, he might not even have the capacity to resist.

"August, you will take charge of the council’s affairs while we are gone," Harrov instructed solemnly.

"Thank you for your trust, Chairperson!" August placed his hand on his chest and bowed respectfully.
