He knew that a force that could slaughter an entire city of the Plague Sect was a formidable opponent. They needed to take imdiate action and find out who was responsible.

"We need to investigate this matter thoroughly. It could be from the three kingdoms or a rogue cultivator," the elder said.

"You send our best disciples to investigate the matter," he said, "Whoever provokes the majesty of our sect, we will destroy them, not even chickens will survive."

The grand elders discussed further and decided to send a team of elite disciples to investigate the incident and find the culprit. They also ordered the remaining cities of the Plague Sect to strengthen their defenses and be on high alert.

anwhile, the teachers who found the survivor was tasked to take care of him and gather any information he had about the attack.

Inside the Plague Sect, was just like any other sect. Everyone was training, cultivating, and learning new techniques.

If a person from the three kingdoms cos here, they would be surprised that it was not a chaotic place and evil cultivators killing everywhere.

A bell rang through the whole sect, signaling an ergency eting of the elders and the three grand elders.

All the disciples were disturbed, and wondering what happened to trigger an ergency eting.

All the elders stop what they were doing and imdiately go to the eting room, even the three grand elders didn't waste any ti. Because every ergency eting was not to be taken lightly.

As the grand elders arrived at the eting room, they brought with them an air of mystery and power. They were the highest-ranking mbers of the Plague Sect, and their presence alone commanded respect and awe.

The first grand elder called Tanix was an old man with a long beard, his eyes were sharp and piercing, and his aura was filled with a sense of wisdom and experience.

The second grand elder called Qi Ja was a voluptuous woman with a cold and calculating deanor. Her eyes were like ice, and her aura was filled with a sense of danger and unpredictability.

The third grand elder called Theon was a young man with a calm and composed deanor. His eyes were deep and mysterious, and his aura was filled with a sense of power and potential.

The grand elders of the Plague Sect were known to be mysterious and rarely appeared in public. They were revered and feared by all, even the elders.

Every grand elder has a cultivation base of a peak-stage Qi Gathering Realm, second only to the Sect Master, a Golden Core Realm powerhouse.

Rumors had it that the three grand elders were very old beings who had lived for more than one thousand five hundred years, and their power was unfathomable. No one knew their true identities or where they ca from.

An early-stage Qi Gathering cultivator has a life expectancy of one thousand years, and every stage will add five hundred years. So, a peak-stage has a life expectancy of two thousand five hundred years.

Tanix spoke up, "What happened? Why did we have an ergency eting?"

The elder spoke, and you can hear the anger in his voice, but still, he reported it respectfully. "We have received news that Tver City has been destroyed by an unknown force."

The room fell silent, and the elders looked at each other in shock.

The elder continued, "We have sent a team of elite disciples to investigate the matter and find the culprit. But we need to be prepared for any eventuality. We don't know if this was an attack from the three kingdoms or a rogue cultivator."

Qi Ja spoke up, her voice soft and soothing, "We must also strengthen the defenses of our remaining cities and be on high alert. We cannot let our guard down."

Theon elder remained silent, his presence emanating a sense of danger and unpredictability.

Tanix stroked his long beard and spoke thoughtfully, "It is clear that our enemies are getting bolder, and they seek to challenge our authority. I guess the three kingdoms were tired of their peaceful days. If that's the case, we will give them what they want."

Qi Ja nodded in agreent, "Indeed, we must take swift and decisive action to protect our interests. We cannot afford to be complacent."

Everyone agreed, because, in their opinion, there were no other forces besides the three kingdoms that can destroy Tver City.

Theon finally spoke up, his voice low and ominous, "We have spies and agents throughout the three kingdoms. We can use them to gather information and strike at our enemies from the shadows."

The other grand elders nodded in agreent, and the room fell into deep contemplation.

The Plague Sect had always been a powerful and ruthless organization, and they had never shied away from using any ans necessary to achieve their goals. Their ultimate aim was to beco the dominant force in this place, and they would stop at nothing to achieve it.

"Ok, let's stop our eting for now, after the survivor regains consciousness. We will start our eting again." Tanix spoke.

The eting was adjourned. The grand elders left the room, each lost in their own thoughts and plans. The disciples returned to their training, but the news of Tver City's destruction had already spread like wildfire.
